We ordered a very pretty embroidered dress but in the wrong size. Upon realizing our error, we contacted customer service and the size was promptly corrected. When we receive the dress, the zipper was broken. The after-sales service offered us a partial refund, which allowed us to get the zipper replaced at a local tailor shop.
With the zipper now replaced, my wife loves the dress, She finds it very comfortable to wear and we both love the style.
So far, we have ordered 4 dresses from Retro Stage, and we are very happy with our orders.
I received great service and beautiful dresses from Retro Stage! When I ordered one item was out of stock but my query was answered quickly and extra effort was made to ensure my shipment reached me in time. Delivery time was quicker than I expected to South Africa! I got my dresses in time for the function and I absolutely love them! Will definitely order from Retro again!
I can't rate the product yet because I am going on 21 days and I still haven't received my dress. My party is tomorrow, so if it doesn't show this will be a complete waste of money and time. I have emailed and no response from the company.
I totally expected this dress to be more like a costume but it came in today and is great quality and fits great too! I'm wearing it to a gatsby themed wedding!

I ordered bathing suits and when they arrived the material was super cheap and I could tell it would fall about in 1 wear. I mailed the items back (which I paid $20 to do) and because I didn't keep the tracking number they said there is no way I can get a return even though I mailed through Canada Post and paid at the counter. They blocked my email so I cannot complain. What a terrible return policy and terrible customer service.

I have ordered twice from retro stage, my first order I had no issues with. It came within the 30 days as states in the website. My second order. It's been well over 30 days and I have no idea where it is. I've been in contact with the customer service department and I'm getting no where. The last update for my tracking was 20 days ago and it's saying the aircraft landed in designation country, but my local shipping agency hasn't received the package or any updates since November. I'm at the point of I just want a refund and to find a different store to order from. Oh also, I've been told by customer service after a few days of receiving information I already has and being told to contact my local shipping company, that my item has been in customers for about 20 some days and to be more patient and wait for my package. I will never be ordering from them again

The dress came in fine, it's gorgeous, the size is right. I also ordered a petticoat, also great. I have a dress for my sister's wedding, they are stunning! Thank you very much. I immediately ordered another for my daughter and girlfriend. During this period Covid, all deliveries are slightly delayed, with us it was about 14 days. But I was looking forward to it:-)

I've ordered from them a numerous amount of times and they always somehow manage to mess up the order. This time is the last straw. I ordered 5 dresses and only received 2. When I message them stating I never received it they basically called me a liar and told me to go to my post office.

I ordered two swimsuits for my granddaughter's honeymoon. She tried one on and within 30 minutes two buttons fell off and the seam in the back broke apart. When I contacted customer service to replace the suit (my granddaughter loved the look of the swimsuit), they had the audacity to ask me if she should have ordered a bigger size, implying her weight was what caused the buttons to come off and the seam to split. When I assured them, I do not, they then said I would have to pay shipping to return the defective suit. The second suit's quality was fine. That's the only reason they're getting two stars. Horrible customer service.

This dress is absolutely gorgeous. The quality is great, looks very expensive. It's very comfortable. I am 5' 9", 138 lbs. I ordered the SMALL. The hem falls above the knee and the fringe falls to about mid-calf. It was so nice to wear a fancy dress that you're not dying to get out of after 2 hours.
The quality of the clothes were terrible and they didn't fit. So I contacted them to ask about how to return and they told me I had to actually send photos of me in the clothing! Which I did. It then took them a while to respond. Ultimately, I had to pay $50 for shipping them back and then got the run around when trying to get the actual refund. It has been over three weeks since they've received the items and no refund. This is a terrible company both in product and service.

Still waiting WEEKS about return package was delivered to them for the refund. Items were unopened and instructions followed carefully. They take forever to reply, and just send the same email over and over again. Don't let the website fool you, they are a sham company, avoid!

I ordered 2 dresses and a petticoat and all fit so perfectly and look gorgeous! The material is light and cool and the petticoat feels like a dream. I'll be ordering again real soon! I love the 50's era style so this site filled my retro needs! If you couldn't tell by my review, Love, Love, Love them! I forgot to grab a picture of both before washing but they're amazing!
I would give them 0 stars if I could. Package never arrived, no way to contact them, unhelpful customer service, and the multiple links I was sent to track the package do not work. It seems legit while ordering, and as soon as you try to track your order, it screams scam. The tracking websites are fake. Avoid ordering from here at all costs!

It's my first time and although I've only received 1/2 of my order, I got it in 3 days from when I got confirmation. Way to go! I don't understand why people are $#*!ing about poor quality when they shop at stores like Forever 21 and H&M. These dresses are fantastic for the price point. I'm super excited to rock these on a cruise I'm going on and to New Orleans. My friends are blown away that I got these dresses so cheap and that they look so cute.

I purchased two 1920's dresses and a 1920's flapper accessory set. Everything is as it appeared on the website. The beautiful dresses fit perfectly (Size XL) with just a bit of stretch in the material. Both are well made and fully lined. The accessories set is perfect and well-made for the price (>$20 U.S. dollars) I look forward to wearing the costumes to our upcoming parties!
This company has a great website with great pictures of the clothes. When the clothes arrive (takes almost 3 weeks), the quality is horrible. I wore a dress one time and the zipper already broke. Huge disappointment

I am absolutely thrilled with my new 1920's flapper dress! It fits perfectly and is stunning quality. This is my first online dress purchase and I was nervous, because I have curves but the dress is very flattering. I can't wait for the event so I can wear it Retro Stage's communication was fantastic and very prompt.

I loved how many different elegant dresses they had to offer, and was torn between which ones to order. I ordered two, the one I received today came from California and was exactly what was pictured on the website, and felt like a good quality dress. I am hoping the one coming from China will be of similar satisfaction. Shipping took about 1 week from the order date.
I ordered a dress from this site, there was a small complication with the delivery, which was not their fault, however they kindly resolved it very quickly. Customer service and quality of the dress are very good. Will be buying from here again.

Answer: XL is a Uk size 14 you have to look at the measurements not the Uk and Us sizes as they are a bit out. The sizing chart is at the bottom of the page of the required item go by the cm, s or inches

I ordered 2PCS White Blouse Top & Suspender Pants - White / XL / 10~12 and the size was smaller than a 10, about an 8, but you couldnt wear the pants anyway, so doesnt matter. They list XL as 10-12 but i would still size down and with how the pieces vary greatly, that might still be false.
