Reasonably straightforward. My only confusion came with the pricing/description changes between entry -level and professional. Because yes I have have 5+ years of work experience but not for the job I want/degree I have. Thus I had hesitance picking out which service to get.

I recently used ResumeZest in hopes of receiving a personalized and polished resume and cover letter. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory.The resume format provided by ResumeZest was generic. Despite expecting a tailored layout that would highlight my skills and experience, what I received felt like a one-size-fits-all template. Even worse, one of my achievements was listed as part of my daily responsibilities, completely undermining the impact of my accomplishments. The revisions made to my original resume were minimal at best. The changes in verbiage were minimal, leaving me questioning the value of the service provided. It seemed that all the writer did was rearrange the format without truly enhancing the content.
The cover letter provided by ResumeZest was almost identical to what could have been generated by an AI like ChatGPT. There was a lack of creativity and personalization, which defeated the purpose of seeking professional assistance in the first place.
To add to my disappointment, when I expressed my dissatisfaction and requested a refund, ResumeZest refused to oblige. Instead, they offered to assign another writer to my case, but after such a disappointing experience, I couldn't bring myself to trust their services any longer.
I had chosen ResumeZest over larger companies in the hopes of receiving a more personalized and creative service. However, it's evident that their small size did not translate to better quality or attention to detail. In hindsight, I realize I would have been better off opting for a larger company that offers similar services at a more affordable price.
Based on my experience, I cannot in good conscience recommend ResumeZest to others. Their lack of personalized attention, generic format, and refusal to provide a refund demonstrate a disregard for customer satisfaction. If you're seeking professional resume and cover letter services, I advise looking elsewhere for a more reliable and reputable provider.
