I signed up and paid for the trial period, so I could update (not write) a resume. After that I have been charged almost $40 for a service that I never use or wanted. Buyer beware when using this or their trial package.

It was helpful, it did help me to identify some key words to highlight and to format and update my resume. But I thought it was a "free" service. When I went to down load the resume I had problems with formatting it in Word and it was a frustrating experience. I did save it in a PDF and that was fine. Of course when I went to pay for that it was one of those fine print situations where they want to charge you $20 a month. I feel that is a kind of scam that preys on people's short attention span and attention to detail. Plus it takes time to interact and get the subscription canceled. The customer service agent was very nice and helped me, but also tried to sell me on the service or to downgrade to like $10 a month. Just operate above board and make your prices clear upfront! Let people know that you will charge them a reasonable fee for using the resume builder, then when they have a great experience, offer them a monthly subscription! Grow up!

We are very sorry that you received the wrong impression of our service and our subscription. We would respectfully like to clarify some information and provide you with the following guide which may clarify any doubts you may have regarding your account: Our free account gives you the opportunity to try out our resume builder before deciding to purchase. The ability to print, email, or download your resume and cover letters are features included in our paid subscription and not listed as a feature of the free account. You can download a plain text version of your resume for free. To further our user experience, we provide the option of a 14-day trial for a small fee.
When you select our 14-day trial enrollment, it provides all details on screen that after the 14th day it will auto enroll into the monthly subscription service. It also explains, that you can cancel at any given time. This alert is also given when the credit card information is requested where it explains that, unless you cancel, you automatically authorize us to charge your account every four weeks at the current rate of the subscription.
Lastly, when you finish your enrollment process, an e-mail is sent explaining this as well. Auto emails can get picked up by the filter as spam or junk mail, redirecting this to the junk/Spam folder. Please, be sure to check your spam/junk mail folder.

They will place charges to your account 1 or 2 days before charging the account in the amounts of 16 cents etc then debit $19.95 every 4 weeks not monthly. Just heads up the templates aren't very great and certainly not worth the money if you forget to cancel. Somehow they even figure out how to charge expired debit cards? Stay away folks!

I used the site because I needed to write a cover letter, which I did and it helped me very much with my application process. Unfortunately, I misunderstood your billing process, I paid $1.95USD to obtain my letter and also retype my resume. At this time I can not afford the membership fee of $24.95 a month. I was not aware there would be extra monthly charges, Yerlin has been a great help and handled my requests satisfactorily. Thank you again for the help.
