First of all Please DONT EVER use REMITGURU for any transaction, there are many reason such as, time taken by them to deliver money, customer service... or in short i dont have any good thing to write about them... seriously horrible.

As such most of the times I use DBS, ICICI, HDFC and they are quite fast, reliable too.
RG is one of the worst in lot, who dont care their customer and not to believe in customer retention.
They will take your money and for ride too. Friendly suggestion is please stay away from all their offers as they are going to torture you mentally and take your peace away.

Having used them on 4 occasions, I have stopped using them. At one point I even had doubts if they had gone bust or what because the funds didn't get transferred on time. On time means at least 3 working day whereas DBSbank and HDFC QuickRemit do it in less than 12 hours. Their rates are misleading. They even encourage you to increase your remittance by give extra pair as for every rupee. In the end the rate is different and you have to work backwards to find out what exchange you got - no email or statement of transfer details. They buy time at your expense. On one occasion they asked me to email screen shot as proof my payment - what rubbish. All tactics to delay delivery of funds. I give up on them after giving them a fair chance, not going to be deceived by promise of high exchange rates.

Sorry I am not good at Social Network, the only way to make RemitGuru realise their greed is to spread #DoNotUseRemitGuru see if someone who is good on social network spread this to make RemitGutu come to their knees.

RemitGuru advertises false high exchange rates, converts remittance amount at lower exchange rates than other service providers like HDFC Quickremit, and above all even backtracks from fulfilling its promised 5000 INR American Express voucher. I have already told my friends not to use this RemitGuru service. Even sending so many emails to RemitGuru customer support officer Mr. R (name withheld by reviewer), Mr S U (CRO, Avenues Payments) (name withheld by reviewer), and Mr. H A (CEO, Avenues Payments) (name withheld by reviewer) didn't elicit a positive response. Hence, I am going ahead with lodging a formal complaint against RemitGuru with both the Consumer Court, Govt of India and the Banking Ombudsman, Reserve Bank of India.
