Reading Plus

It does NOT teach students anything important and also makes them read books that haven't been around since like 20BC its completely trash and is not fair to students with the question on the books either a student asked me why it was asking a question about some ancient Greek thing i don't remember exactly what it was but the book was about how baseball changed the world or something and it brings up Greek questions it was not even related to the subject i hit the reread button to see what it was talking about but their was nothing in the reread that was helpful at all i stopped giving students these assignments - ms. This website is the reason why kids hate reading I am in the 5th grade and I have 8 lessons every day and my brother has an f in reading because of this website. Honestly just die reading plus I wish people can throw you into hell and Satan will be like "EW WHAT IS THIS!?" and burn you. I am so sorry but I hate reading plus that I wanted to flip this website off. Instead of reading plus it should be reading is hell.

This website is absolute garbage, now me not being an immature 5th grader am going to tell you something. This site is BS do NOT buy this crappy website under any circumstances, For one, The stories are incredibly boring, and I honestly have my eyes closing automatically, I am and INCREDIBLY fast reader, and it feels incredibly mundane having to read like a turtle. It should be taken down, no wonder this BS of a site has 1.3 stars, the teaches are literally ignorant about this crap and they just straight up don't care, BUT then again. How will this review change anything?

This is crap. Please delete this app because I always get stressed out because I have to do this crap every single day, I have clinical depression and anxiety because of the stress, my teacher gives me detention because I didn't complete it, I have nightmares about it, and when I see it I get anxious. I swear to god, I hate it so much, its so stupid I can't use this app anymore. Me and my friends are making a petition to get this stupid app banned from my school so I never have to use this crap again. I had a stroke in my room one day after completing 1 lesson, it makes me suffer, I passed out in my room one day because of how disgusting this app is, I go through sleep deprivation because I stay up all night finishing these disgusting books. I have to be doing reading plus 24/7 so I even take my laptop into the toilet to finish it and one day my laptop fell into the toilet and when I opened it again, my reading plus lessons were gone!

Reading plus is ok but the thing they need to change is that on the last combo they need rereads then it will be better because I keep on getting the answers wrong when I read the text properly which will get me into support mode and I don't want that.

I'm in 4th grade and reading plus is so dumb. It makes me spend a hour reading a book I am not even interested in when I could be reading a book that I'm interested in IN REAL LIFE! Reading plus gives me long and boring stories that I am not interested in. I don't want to read how Velcro is made or how metal was found in the first place. I want to read about gaming or about how to fly planes! Just don't buy reading plus unless you want your kids or students to lose their minds.

This is the worst program ever. I have to do it at school and home. The only thing it has helped me with is wasting my afternoons. The stories are BORING. I would instead read an actual book than read any reading plus stories to all people out there. DO NOT GET READING PLUS.

When doing this program, you read an article and answer some questions. However, when you answer the questions it gives a random excerpt from that story that has nothing to do with the actual question. The "ReReads" don't help much either, they also have nothing to do with the question.

Reading plus is bad. The stories that they provide are boring and then you have to answer questions, which makes less sense! The vocab is even worse! They give middle schoolers high school words and high schoolers words that people don't use in the real world!

Reading plus is the trashiest reading program for kids.
Students must not only complete the just the story, but also the quiz after the story. If you get a depressing score under 80, that story will not record in the homework bar.
Also, Reading plus should let students choose a wider range of books. If a student likes Civil War, offer more civil war stories to that student, not the same amount of stories that the student does like.

Reading Plus, its SeeReading program in particular, has a rather rigid grading system and a limiting way of grading and "fostering growth" within students. The reading system is particularly obstructive towards academic progression and growth; students are required to set a pace for their own reading and, after it has been set, the program berates students attempting to increase the rate, stating that they are reading "too fast," despite the program's literal purpose of improving reading rates within students. Overall, the program is very contradictory and actually harmful to academic growth for students.

This $#*!ing website needs to be shut down. A very LAZY way to teach your students I didn't learn a single $#*!ing thing from this god forsaken website its just like Alex LAZY and poorly designed to the point where you don't learn $#*!. Conclusion rest in piss Reading Plus!

Reading Plus is so utterly garbaging it made me projectile vomit seventy-seven miles shooting through the stratosphere and puncturing a 40m wide hole in the International Space Station. Furthermore, it asks you to read comfortably but then limits your reading rate because apparently, I'm reading "too fast". Yeah, I was taking a reading rate assessment but I was reading too quickly so the AI told me to take my time.

Reading plus is very boring, doesn't help my reading, and is overallly just a trashy site. The stories suck, and the vocab has no purpose, and who cares if you can read a "c" or not? I hate reading plus, and I think you would too, if you had to do it.

Ong yall suck my teacher got me doin this for a test grade when this website sucks. WHen i find the owner yall better hide, its on sight on my mama. Ima swing on all yall that work on this website. And also f the schools that make us do this

This sucks and you should close this app my mom made my mom said that it is rotting my brain and this is a really bad app it makes me wanna die everytime i get a 80 or blow it wastes time and doesn't even help my reading it gives me a headache and i have to do it every monday KMS.

They make me do 5 a week and 3 vocab all about flys and civil rights and science when I could be reading a real book who ever created this should be in a institution for the insane cuz this is child abuse for real.

I am a student and I have to do reading plus every week. The program tries to make you read faster but that shouldn't be the goal, the goal should be to comprehend what you are reading. Another thing is that they make up random crap and call it the answers and on top of that when you are doing the vocabulary they make up random words and the definitions are very similar. The reading plus lessons at my school are also graded on accuracy and not completion ( it also is like this at many other schools) this is very annoying because of the fact that the story's aren't very good so you end up having to do like seven lessons to get your weekly assignment done. I also would like to point out the fact that the stories are boring and stupid. They are almost all nonfictional and really repetitive in what they say. Reading plus really isn't worth it and doesn't even improve your reading. And I'm not just saying this as a student so please take this review seriously.

No wonder kids hate reading when teachers assign them this its so boring. What happend to 20 minuts of reading each right. Where the kids could read what they want at there own pace and they dont have to go faster. When you get a question wrong it just takes you back to the text. And when you get a vocab wrong it just gives ou a dictanry definition. Why cant we just have them do 20 minuts of reading each night.
