Reading Plus

This website is boring, useless, tiring, stupid, and just plain nonsense. I'm forced to do it every single day in school and the only thing I've accomplished was migraines. Reading a normal book is more fun and actually interesting. Also, one thing to confess, I don't use reading plus and yet I still score in the top 10 for the reading plus test. DON"T RECOMMEND

Reading plus was the worst website I've ever come across. It was a website my school forced me to use back when I was in 8th grade. Not even my teacher enjoyed using the website but the school forced my teacher to put reading plus in as a grade. The website didn't help, the stories were uninteresting, and the vocabulary was straight up wrong. For those having to do reading plus, I wish you luck and hope you don't drop a letter grade in English from reading plus like I did.

So first off, my teachers say to spend less time on screens, but then why do they give me NINE READING PLUS EACH F***ING WEEK? I have no time for my family, friends, and sleep. Because of reading Plus, I lost 20 pounds in less than a week because I skipped breakfast and dinner cause I had no time! I got three hours of sleep for like four weeks, and I would cry each night. It made me so stressed out, and I have to do it for two more dam* years. Reading Plus has such boring stories, and does not care about our mental health. All it wants is schools' entire budget. DO NOT FALL FOR ITS MIND GAMES! IT DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOU!

My school uses Reading Plus for their students. And if I'm being brutally honest, it's horrible. The book selection that they have is terrible; all of them being either brain numbingly boring, or so painstakingly hard to read that I end up reading with my eyes instead of actually processing the words. The questions they have at the end are fine. They remind me a little of Accelerated Reader and the quizzes they have at the end of each book you read, except Reading Plus has it 10x worse.

Even as an avid reader myself, reading books on Reading Plus has made my reading burnout more worse than if I were to just read a large amount of books by myself.

Honestly, this is the laziest and most boring cash grab of all time. Schools who make children do this are basically dicators. The stories are really boring, and even the fiction is boring! How do you mess up fiction?! Anywho, the stories are basically "How metal is made" or "Watching cement dry: the novel" It feels like a robot created these stories, and doing the lessons feel like a chore. If their goal is to make children to enjoy reading, they are failing desparetly. Do not buy this.

No. Don't buy this. Readingplus is the reason both of my grandfathers died. It is the reason my dog has kidney stones. It keeps me up at night, i think "have i finished my readingplus?". This application is the reason for world hunger and pain everywhere.

Ever since my school has started using this $#*!ty software i have had suicidal thoughts. Do not use this it will make you have suicidal thoughts and ruin your life also since this $#*!bag was introduced to my school i have been very stressed and in tears when i have to do it, also the stories (if even that) are unentertaining and bad. The names are $#*!ed up the pictures are $#*!ed up and why the $#*! should i answer questions that are, yet again, $#*!ed up. I am a 12 year old who should not have to go through this. A song that explains how i feel is "i deserve to bleed"

The stories are worse than poorly written 8th-grade essays, and the questions at the end are pointless and at times mind-numbing. This app is so poorly designed and I would like to meet the creator of this torture device to tell him that he has contributed to the problems of the American school system. The reading rates slow you down, the books are horrible, and it is overall the worst homework assignment of my week. ( yes we do it every week) If I could give it a 0-star review I would. Please, on behalf of school children everywhere, do not use this app.

I swear to god before i was introduced to this bull$#*! i was a happy, little girl with the will to live. Now i swear to god i tried commiting suicide like several times, how? You name it! Pills, good old hanging and banging my head against the wall everytime i think of this website i wanna hang myself, id rather have a Magnum Research BFR in. 45/70 7 inches down my throat then read these crappy $#*! stories. Thank u for ur time

To start off, my school makes me use this site. Overall I'm not a big reader fan. But this site makes me stress. I can't tell you how many times I felt like pulling my head off due to all the stress this site has given me. For one, if you get a low score on one of the stories and you've already read another story that had an average grade, Reading Plus takes away that one story with the average score along with not counting the story you got a low grade on. The stories are extremely uninteresting and boring. Some of the stories can have over two thousand words. This site expects you to memorize everything in one shot. In my opinion, I feel there should be more rereads due to the lack of memorization I have and others may have as well. This site hasn't done me any good. All it does is add stress and lack of motivation. This site isn't worth stressing and feeling like a complete failure.

I really don't think there is a point to this website. It bothers me to just read on a screen. I would rather read an actual book rather than read on a screen that hurts my eyes. This website is garbage and I want it gone... forever!

I think reading plus is useless to me in general.Im normally a fast reader but for school I had to do reading early in the morning and im extremely tired.So, I would read slow but reading plus has a problem with that. Eventually, my reading rate was too "slow" so whenever i read the text would disappear. This was a problem for me because i couldn't read the text fast and eventually cried out of stress. Since reading plus is something i have to do for school, I'm always stressed and bothered everyday. Reading plus sucks in general.

I am in 5th grade and reading plus is one of most boring things I have done. My teacher assigns me a tremendous amount of work that isn't even interesting. The stories are just tedious and dumb. I lose interest after only reading one paragraph. The stories that Reading Plus provide aren't even relatable. So I just want to conclude that Reading Plus is a dumb app that makes kids stressed about getting the questions all right and maintaining their good grades by giving them uninteresting, unrelatable, and tedious stories.

ITS SO BAD. Literally i would read 100 irl books that actually don't suck so i don't have to do this for a whole week. I hope the owner of this awful website get covered in oil shot set on fire turned to ash gets set of fire again shot again set on fire again repeat that same cycle ************** times until there's and atom left split that atom and keep splitting it until it turns to into nothing. Also if i get arrested for this for a 100% true review that gives you a whole other reason to sue them. If a staff member sees this PS-kys before it is too late. I have to do this every day and it's very stressful I hate it I mean you have to learn words that everyone knows that's stupid I hate reading plus. This app makes students hate reading and all of the students hate reading plus.

You know what $#*!? Go kill ur self reaeding plus. You take up way too much time of my like. I have to do 4 lessons a week. I got under a 80 percent this time and i had the bonus ten. You know what it did? It said that it had a problem and i couldnt do that so i failed the lesson. Reading plus sucks, dont waist ur time. And if this company is reading this, i got a message for you $#*! $#*! reading plus: GO SUCK A D! CK!

I'm in 8th grade and I have 4 reading and 2 vocabulary assignments and 1 assignments takes me 40 minutes to complete and on top of that I have 1:30 mins of homework a night. The stories are all $#*! and it's making me fail ELA and same with all the 120 other students it's a $#*!ing huge waste of my damn time and should be $#*!ing terminated

It's not a great tool for a school to use it sucks for everything since the UI is not user-friendly for everyone the G-Rate system is not needed, $#*!ty Personalization getting badges and is not rewarding. There is no goal the only goal is getting a grade in this piece of $#*!.

This app honestly is the worst. It was boring, hard, too quick on me that my teacher had to stop students from using it. I honor the teacher for doing that and i agree with all yall sayin' reading plus is bad for mental health for BOTH parents and kiddos. I'm glad my middle school doesn't use reading plus. Also a quote of the day: just because someone is dead or far from you doesn't mean your connection was cut.
