Raz-kids

Sentence unscramble has bad volume so children do not even know if the words they use are right, while even inter-changable words that sound the same are wrong. It upsets several people in my class, including one person who got a temper tantrum and threw his computer out the window, into a teachers head and knocked her and the computer in the lake, due to how many questions and words their were.

We've tried out RazKids and we enjoyed parts of it. They have a great selection of simple stories and also have audio files which can be really helpful. The questions in RazKids are also very straightforward so the kids do fairly well with them. We did notice that the kids needed extra help when it came to grammar and understanding more complicated stories. I've really seen the kids struggle because that was their weakness. Since then we've been using Beestar which has a great grammar component and also classical stories that really help the kids build up their critical reading skills. The kids also do well with the stories and are fully challenged by the questions.

My teachers make me use this and it sucks so much, they have the most boring books EVER! If your a teacher reading this please don't make your students suffer and don't freak'in download this piece of garbage. I hope the people who made this read my review and actually put real books on this.

I am a parent of a child who was assigned this program by the teacher. Books are so-so. Like the audio function of students being able to have a sentence read to them to aid with pronouncing words. But you can't turn off or modify the reading audio so that you only have the word read if you scroll over the single word. It just reads the whole page or sentence to you. Program seems to encourage listening comprehension, not reading comprehension. Like the fact there is a quiz. But am mortified that the program for emerging young readers admits to deleting all correct quiz answers and forcing students to redo work after following the prompt in the program to correct answers. If you try to correct an answer more than once all the correct answers are deleted and you have the read the book again and take the test all over again. There is no warning about deleting correct answer. This is is sure to create testing anxiety, and a disincentive to trying to correct quizes.

My son used this site during Covid shutdowns last year, we read both English and French, he progressed very nicely, he worked his way up from the basics of reading to more complex reading. No complaints, it is a helpful and they made it fun to read - my son did a great job and continues to be good reader. He posted a youtube video of his experiences using the fun site:

Raz kids is very boring and none should like it there is no search bar and its so slow it takes up to much internet and its a trashy website and most of the books are fake

The reading a-z is very very boring. BUT THE SCIENCE A-Z PART IS SO CRAP IT MAKES ME WANT TO SCREAM IN THE MIDDLE OF CLASS RIGHT NOW! IF YOU HAVE AN ASSIGNMENT AND YOU CLOSE OUT OF THE TAB, IT COMPLETELY RESETS THE WHOLE ASSIGNMENT! I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT A SINGLE BIT!

This is trash and epic is way better because it is WAY more fun! Some students have not even GOT to try epic. That is so bad! Scroll down for PROOF that this was stupid of me to download!

I figured out everyone's password and the teacher had to change everyone's password to a more complex one.

It is realy boring and it wont work with me at all so pleas make it more fun and i will like it more probatly
