I had a great experience with Punchbowl. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being extremely satisfied, I will have to give Punchbowl a 10+ (smile). One of your members (Candace Butler) referred me and told me that I would be thrilled with your services. That was the truth! Punchbowl went far beyond my expectations. I have made four referrals. Thank you!
In these days of social distancing, I still wanted to have an extra special 80th birthday party for my mom. I was happy to see there were so many suitable remote party invitation options which I could easily edit leading to the perfect invite. (Not too complicated for the seniors yet with color and animation to make it special.). It was so easy to personalize, add more people, send a reminder, etc. Our Zoom party was great and it all started with an "easy invitation."
Punchbowl made inviting my guests and sending quick reminders and announcements convenient and easy. Amazing App and I would highly recommend to anyone planning a party! It even offers thank you cards to the guests that attended!
Punchbowl is very simple to use! Just follow the prompts to customize any one of their beautiful designs. I've used Punchbowl for party invites. Managing my guest list is made simple and efficient. I like that I can see which of my guests have opened their invitation and which ones may need a gentle reminder. Also, after the party I can send my guests a thank you note. How great is that!
Punchbowl is a great and affordable program with options for one off users as well as high end users. With so many applications out there I'm often concerned with support. Sometimes the pricing is sneaky and locks you into something you really didn't want. My experience with Punchbowl was great. Their support was quick and very helpful. I highly recommend their program and will be a regular user.
Punchbowl is always my go to when I need something to send at the spur of the moment. I don't always have time to run to the store and purchase cards or invitations. One thing is for sure they are right there when you need them. You also save money because cards can be expensive. With Punchbowl I pay one fee each year and that's it.
I recently used this app to send out birthday party invitations for my daughter. The app is super easy to use, a great selection of invites to choose from and has lots of great functions. I loved that I could send invites via email or text message, see when people looked at the invite, customize reminder messages (which is stress saver) and message people. I used all of these functions.
I had never organized or planned a party, and I came across Punchbowl in a Google search. From day one, Punchbowl walked me through compiling a guest list, creating an invitation, sending out, and giving me many options to follow up and maintain list once sent. I was able to resend invitations to those who mistakenly deleted. Punchbowl advised me when phone numbers bounced so that I could get correct and resend. Punchbowl kept an accurate alphabetical account of the responses and sent out a two day reminder. They did the work at a reasonable cost. Thanks, Punchbowl
They string you along with the promise of creating and sending free invites. Then, once you've spent time creating your invite, you literally cannot send it without signing up for a "free trial" which is 1 week. So unless your party is within a week- how is this useful as a free service?! Also, unless you purchase a premium membership, there are ads on your invite, which is why it didn't seem too good to be true. I mean, if I'm sending along ads with my kids' birthday invitations- shouldn't it just be free?
Our Christmas Eve celebrations are a special time of year for your family and friends, old and new! I send out invites and chose Punchbowl, which provided me lovely selections that were easy to customize for our celebration. I selected the perfect invite: simple but elegant! The invite and guest list was easy for our guests and for me to manage. As a pleasant surprise, I was able to send a customized "thank you" after our event, which I really appreciated! I highly recommend Punchbowl, and will certainly use them in the future!
I used Punchbowl to create a baby shower invitation and thought that by signing up my invitees would not get advertisements. They indicated the monthly fee and stated that you could cancel at any time. I cancelled my subscription within a month but my credit card was billed the full year subscription rate. I sent two emails asking to be reimbursed for 11 months and have not had a response. I will be telling my friends not to use this site.
Alaine - We hear you and we’re sorry you are upset. I've messaged you directly to get your email address. We'd like to help!
It sounds like there was some confusion here about how our subscriptions work. In order to remove ads for your guests, you need a Platinum level membership. Details are here: https://www.punchbowl.com/upgrade.
Customers have the choice between two different subscription plans when purchasing a membership - a monthly option and an annual option. It sounds like you signed up for an annual membership with a 7-day free trial. We'd be happy to help sort it out. Email us at help@punchbowl.com and mention Sitejabber so we can assist.
I love the Punchbowl.com website! The ability to personalize my invitations was so much fun. I especially like being able to
Send additional messages to those I invited and it is extremely helpful to see who has viewed their invitations.
I've used Punchbowl.com for years and continue to be a big fan.
I spent 30 minutes creating and organizing a FREE invitation here. But in order to send and manage I had to PURCHASE an annual membership. No way around it. Slimy, dishonest and exceptionally poor business practices. Never again.
Hi. Thanks for reaching out. You can use Punchbowl for free through our apps or when you start a free trial (just cancel anytime during the free trial period and you will not be charged). We also have a 30-day money-back guarantee, no questions asked. Reach out to help@punchbowl.com if you have any questions! We want you to be happy! -Danny in Marketing
They'll let you get through making your entire card before the final step, when it asks you make an account. You make an account, and then realize it didn't save your card. So annoyingly, you'll go back to remake your entire card, and then the final step this time will be to start their free trial or buy a subscription package. Great!
I know this is not an uncommon business practice but I've just had enough of it. Only two stars because the site was designed well.
Also, looks like two of the subscription packages don't even remove advertising. You get to pay up and still get to have ads on your card. Wow. And looks like this site requires you to make an account as well, lol. Never had needed to do something out of spite just in spite of something else. Time for tempmail again
Hello, thanks for reaching out. We're sorry to hear that you ran into some issues. Your card should have saved after you created an account. Can you send us a note at help@punchbowl.com with your account details so we can help troubleshoot this issue you mentioned? We'd like to help! - Danny in Marketing
Of all the e-invite sites out there, Punchbowl is, by far, the best. Everything about it, from the custom stamp selections (including your own photos) to the envelope papers, pot lucks, guest messages, etc. is unique! I won't use any other invitations, thank you's, or notes! Punchbowl is the ONE!
Missed cancellation of the free trial period and was charged $80+ even though I cancelled, and although I don't use and can't afford. Going through a lot, including young child in wheelchair with broken foot and severe financial and personal issues. I asked if they would consider a refund, even partial -- they said no, that there was a 30 day window that closed. Nothing said there was a 30 day window when I could have requested refund when I cancelled immediately after the charge. I read it carefully.
No e-card is worth $80+, and no company that can see a customer only used them once and cancelled right after they were charged that $80+ but won't refund is worth giving your business to.
We're very sorry to hear that you were going through a difficult time and had a bad experience. We'd like to clarify that we honor all refund requests that are within the 30-day window no questions asked. This is explained by the "30-Day money back guarantee" that is mentioned on all our membership upgrade pages. When you sign up for a membership, you will be able to use Punchbowl under your free trial period for 7 days at no charge. At the end of the 7-day trial period, the charge for membership will be issued. This is explained on our Memberships page: https://www.punchbowl.com/upgrade
I've been using Punchbowl for several years from sending out Christmas invitations to birthday cards for staff. It is an easy and excellent tool to use that looks great and takes little of your time. I wouldn't want to be without it!
This service makes it so easy to knock a big job off any list, which is sending out the invites. Thank you for providing this service, especially for free. It made my sons 1st birthday easy to keep on budget!
Downloaded it for an event I was planning and it worked wonderfully! I don't have social media, so this was the perfect platform to help plan and execute my invitation list. Kudos to Punchbowl! Would definitely use again and recommend!
Used Punchbowl for the Annual Office Christmas party and got a ton of compliments. Also there were so many great designs to choose from and sending the e-vites was super easy to do with the given option of email or phone number.

Answer: Hi Kimberly - Can you tell us a little more about what you're trying to do? Are you trying to send an invitation? When you build a guest list and enter the individual recipient email addresses, they will not be able to see each other's contact information. They will be able to see who is invited (name only), but we give you the option to hide your guest list: https://help.punchbowl.com/article/98-how-do-i-show-or-hide-the-guest-list If you're sending to a group email address (a distribution list that goes to many people), this article will help: https://help.punchbowl.com/article/325-can-i-send-my-invitation-to-a-group-email-address If you're trying to do something else, please give us some more detail here or feel free to email us at help@punchbowl.com and we'd be happy to help!
Answer: Great question! The text on the invitation is the same for every guest. You can find more information about our customization options here: https://www.punchbowl.com/customization Please feel free to send an email to help@punchbowl.com if you have any questions. We're here to help!
Answer: Absolutely. They ask if you want to send yourself a Test card so you can see exactly what your invited guests will see. You can then make modifications if you choose. It's good to do this because the format that you input is slightly different than what they will see.
