We need a small storage unit and chose this one due to convenience though there are actually several new units within a couple miles of our home. Looks like a good facility, security, access, all should be fine. Too much pressure to wrongfully tell the customer we need their insurance and make it seem we must choose from one of three insurance options. We have a lawful right to decline their insurance - that can actually add as much as 50 percent cost to the small unit - but Nancy insists to the point of it being high pressure and almost caused me to say forget it and go elsewhere.

Property number *******. My experience with (Rene) was very welcoming upbeat and friendly. The facility was well kept up and secure. I would definitely recommend to use public storage to store all your valuables.

They have taken customer service out of the equation. The locations that do have a person working there, the employees don't speak even when you are speaking to them. The have made this prison size booths, where you have to stand and be uncomfortable, I had to kneel down with my medical boot on one foot and my leg devise on another to speak to someone through a video as if I am a prisoner. I went to pay my bill today only to find out that they have gone up $60 on each of my units without notice, that's $120 and I haven't been there a year.

Paul at public storage helped me get set up with a unit, lock and showed me to use the gate keypad. I have rented storage space before and is not always a good experience but coming here was much nicer. I will use you again for sure. Thanks,

What a deal! My first month was $1. Oh Boy! Here I am 18 months out at a rate of $220 per month, I was notified starting next month the rent will be $270! You do the math. Their bait and switch pricing and steady increases clearly tell me they don't want me as a customer... or, they think they have me for life. I refuse to wait around until the next increase, in approximately 4-5 months based on history. Not waiting around until next month... I am gone... just in time for them to screw someone else.

The absolute worst storage rental that you can rely on. If there was an option for zero stars, I would pick it. The company raised my monthly payment by $75 without notification or permission. I spoke with the representative on the phone and to turn out she verified that I was not given a heads up by mail or email. If you are desperate for a storage rental, look elsewhere cause they will definitely raise rent for your storage for no reason at any time.

Thank you for thinking of all the small little things that could go array. Unfortunately because my spouse don't like to where shoes and don't encourage our child to wear them, he would have been cut on his foot with that glass and debris I saw you sweeping up and just to show she agree now because he was cut at a gas station because of no shoes on. So thank you now she agreed to start putting his shoes on anytime we leave the house. Thanks for having the care not at your store and not on your watch lol. We need more people like u that gives a rat bottom about appearance in and out the store. By the way honey and I are happy about out decision about the storage. My 10 x 20 unit went from $117 to $173. Along with my other units increases 40 - 50%. At Public Storage, Rochester Mi. This is price gouging. And NO SECURITY for the door was wide open for 5 weeks & anyone to drive in & have access to your unit. Which was also broken & wide open for 4 mths about 5 mths ago.
Dirt blowing in & geese were in there. Bugs was on my new clothes. Bugs all over around the windows & floor. No paper towels ever & hand dryers been broke for over a year.
They say rent increases every 6 months. They should cut rent in half for all mths with NO Security. This is on Avon industrial drive. Rochester, mi.
Michael the manager is trying to do his best under the circumstances. & is a plus to the company. Hard worker & friendly to all customers. Twice i tried to include pictures of bugs & open broke door. But then this site kept closing

We recently rented two units at public storage on Mildred. From the time we arrived and to this day Dee and Liz have been wonderful and helpful. They seem to go above and beyond to make your experience a good one. Would highly recommend this facility especially for the customer service, thank you both, great job. The Gordons.

I've had one of the most pleasant experiences with customer service that I've had in a long time. Ms.Kielwanng returned my call with a pleasant and friendly voice. Then she proceeded to help me determine what my needs were by physical showing me various storage sizes. She did and excellent job with answering my questions and explaining the contract. I would like to commend her patience and positive disposition. Thank you Ms. Kielwanng for your kind service.

First of all this place took over the Kodiak Mini Storage in my area. Kodiak were great people and very friendly. I came in to pay the bill one day and it had become a Public Storage. I just smelled a rate hike so I decided to move out and downsize to a much cheaper unit. Was also more comfortable with a mom and pop storage facility. I was one day late on moving out and got unit emptied on late Saturday Oct. 1st. Little nasty Arizona rep tells me calling their customer line won't do me any good since move was completed after office had closed Saturday. Tells me I will owe Sunday too. Why? He says because no one can verify its empty until Sunday. That just seems so petty. Kodiak would have taken me at my word. Its just one day. Glad I decided to leave.

I have rented from PS in several different locations. They routinely raise your rate by about 30% within a few months of your renting. The people investing in this company are stealing your hard-earned money and making it harder for you to save for a home where you can store your things! These are mostly wealthy investors who want more easy money from you, not from their own work. They would, as we used to say, sell you down the river for a few dollars. Rent space from another company if you can, or use them only for a short time. By the time they are done with you, you will be living out of your car!

This is our first time renting from any storage companies, and so glad we choose this one. Very great promotions to help with the rent costs.
Chez was wonderful answering all my concerns and giving me some great ideas. She made sure the unit was cleaned up. She showed us a good arrangement to putting in our items. She is courteous, and so helpful. She even stamped out a place on the information card and attached our keys. Thank you Chez.

JOE, the property manager took his time to show the different units, to accommodate our needs and answer all our questions. Joe was very informative, with pricing, hours of operation and promotions. When we looked at the different units they were spotless clean and inviting. Thanks for the 5 stars customer service.
