Jennifer in ******* is an excellent employee. She was very helpful during my experience with public storage. I was going to shop around for prices but didn't have to look any further. She deserves a raise.
Been renting for 1.5 years now and rent has increased 3x so far from $86 to $124 When I emailed and asked about reasoning for the constant increase I was just sent a general email. No explanation. No consideration at all for people who lost their job due to the pandemic. Was told to see if there are others avail for cheaper and move go a different storage unit. I am disabled and cannot move anything so I would have to pay another $500 to move my stuff... just so they can increase the rent on that one too after a few month. This was my first and last time ever using them!
A picture is worth a thousand words... Please see the pictures I included. We have found both live and dead rodents. The rodents have left excrement all over our possessions. There is a restaurant on the side of the storage unit, so I don't see this issue changing. No matter what extenuating attempts are made. Not that I would count on management taking any drastic measures. They always collect the money. Even if it is for storing a major health risk.
I'm a customer many years. Today, 9/18/22 I needed to remove some items from my storage unit. No carts were visible so I went into the office and Larry was very courteous and he rounded up a cart for me. That is super customer service. I fully recommend the Spanish River Public Storage facility. Richard
I had 2 storage units in the N Hayden, Scottsdale facility for 5 months at the end of last year. Being a good diligent client, I prepaid for January 2016 as I was concerned that I would forget to pay during the busy Christmas period. Circumstances suddenly changed in December and I moved out of both units on 2 January. I am still awaiting a refund of almost $400 and have made so many phone calls that I have lost count. All I get is the run around and name of a manager who never answers his phone or returns his calls. I have no choice but to take them to court. Avoid using this company.
I have now had a refund of the amount owing and would consider using them again (just with my eyes wide open this time).
The public storage at ******* Willow Glen Dr. Is a very classy place. Jennifer helped me and wad polite courteous and professional. I am also equally impressed how clean and nice it is. Im glad my GPS let me know we had arrived... because I would have missed it. It camouflaged with the beauty of the area, with other storages you can see the bright orange eye sore a mile a way. In today's business world it's very difficult to find an associate with the work ethic as Ebony has in property #******* in duluth ga. Management has a true jewel and should value such a person. I never her her say no or we can't do that!
They are a bit pricey but their customer service is Awesome & they keep the building extremely clean. I love these guys. They're always kind, pleasant, courteous, professional, and they treat you like a family member. I would highly recommend them.
I was pleasantly surprised when someone at this location got back to me soon after Id left a message. Having never been to this location, I was wondering about storage unit sizes and locations. Arizona called me back and clearly explained what was available, what things to consider when storing certain kinds of items, and how to ensure less moisture. By the time we were done chatting, I had a much better understanding and was able to look at my boxes, then figure out what I needed to book. It's hectic trying to move during a pandemic, so when you "meet" someone this helpful and nice, you have to write a review about it. Anyway, would totally recommend!
Sold my friends unit off even though she was paid to date and without any notification. Claim it was a mistake and then claim they sent her notices. The VP of the company has been of no additional help as suggested they file a law suit. Do your research! This place will rob you blind if they think you are vulnerable.
I rented a storage unit from Public Storage. They advertise $1 for the first month. However, the REAL amount was closer to $50; $20 of which was for a cylinder lock. The very nice person with whom I spoke told me I could use my own lock. NOT TRUE. His words were written off to "he was a sub for the manager who was ill".
There are many hidden fees.
Public Storage does not pro-rate for time not needed/used as most other storage facilities do.
In a few words- avoid using this company unless you enjoy wasting money.
The 69 Matthews Dr. Hilton Head Island Facility is clean, has climate controlled space, no crawlers, and Great Management. Great Asset for residents/part-timers on an Island who have to make the most of their space. Manager Mrs. R. Lynch has worked with me as needs expand, contract - repairs, renovations, my visitors/ relatives who temporarily need space in my home - thus our stuff has to go for awhile. Mrs. Lynch and those who work with her are through in explaining the insurance, locks, prices - they do change similar to a lot of things in a Resort community. Also facility has Cameras - that work! And controlled access.
That's what it fells like walking into Public Storage in Wayne, New Jersey; a home away from home and the staff is your extended Family.
Ashley was on duty, and even though she felt under the weather, she greeted us with a lovely smile. She took her time and explained the entire procedure, asking pertinent questions to determine the amount of space we needed for our furniture and belongings. She then took us to see the unit at the same time giving us a mini tour of the facility. She showed us 2 different sized units, of which we decided to rent the larger of the two. We filled out the necessary paperwork, made our payment, were then given the gate codes and our keys, and were on our way. By far the best first impression and business professionalism seen in a long time. Ashley is one in a million. I abhor Public Storage. They stole my money and treated me unfairly in time of great need. Their facilities are in poor shape and prices too high. The management is pathetic and poorly trained. Extra Space Storage is a much better option with professional staff.
The location at 289 W Lafayette Rd St Paul, MN used to be storage 365. I was overseas 10 months and during that time, they changed. There is no one that works in the building and both calling and chats were very unhelpful. Will be looking for storage elsewhere.
On my moving into my space a week ago (at 367 Southern Boulevard, Bronx), these three individuals (Sean, Christine, and Portia) were soo friendly, yet very professional. Made me have a great move-in experience.

I started out at $89 for my storage in two years it's got a 228 I'm on a fixed income they raise your rent without even telling you they don't get back to you when they're supposed to and you're supposed to call them the fees are ridiculous if you're one minute late they're nothing but a rip off do not use them
We love this place there is always someone around the clock that you can talk to. Also I got behind on payments due to loosing my job and I never had to worry about loosing my stuff they worked so well with me until I was able to catch it up. I would highly recommend them...
Lori, at the Illinois Rd. Storage facility, is a true diamond. Her personal attention to detail, professionalism, and outgoing personality, help make this moving experience a rewarding endeavor. She made sure our unit was clean, and gave us a thorough introduction to the Public Storage world. I don't give recommendations lightly, because I feel we have an obligation to our peers to be honest. So when I say she was awesome, I really mean awesome. I would highly recommend Lori and this facility if you are in need of storage space.
