I booked a night at La Quinta while driving cross country a few hours before I arrived. I thought it strange that the taxes in a small town in Indiana were $22 on the Priceline bill. Priceline charged my credit card $104.97, yet the receipt from the hotel was only $74.10 plus $8.90 in taxes = $83. I called Priceline the next day and they refused to honor the hotel's receipt. I was told that was Priceline's profit. That is $22 profit for a one night stay.
That's a RIPOFF.
DO NOT USE PRICELINE.
We reserved a rental car through Priceline and Fox rental to be picked up at the FLL airport for 5 days. However, after waiting in line for over an hour after our flight we found out that our reservation was made for the Miami airport by mistake. Priceline would not change our reservation or refund our money in any way. We had to pay for 5 days of a rental car we never used and pay to rent a different car as well.
Horrible customer service. Booked on 11/8/22, had to rebook to an earlier time, but same day. Called 11/18/22 to rebook and was told it would cost over $800 to rebook the itinerary. Asked to talk to representative, waited over half an hour on phone before I decided to hang up. Called 11/21 to rebook, was told the same thing... over $800. Eventually spoke to a supervisor who helped me, but ended up having to pay $160 (including a $99 fee for rebooking) to change only 1 flight. Extremely dissatisfied customer, will NEVER use Priceline again. I will go out of my way to make sure that friends and family never use it as well.
I tried to reserve a car and before it was confirmed I got a message stating that the car was no longer available.
Since this was through Payless, I went to their website and reserved the same car for the same price. However, when I went to my email to print the confirmation, I had confirmations from both Priceline and Payless. I have tried to call Priceline and due to the winter storms, I cannot talk with anyone unless out travel is within 3 days. I chatted with Vincent and he could not help me and asked me to call and talk with a senior agent which I cannot do since we are not traveling within 72 hours. I am beyond frustrated! We have used Priceline for years for our rental car needs, but unless this is rectified with a cancellation and full refund, we will not be using Priceline in the future. This is not acceptable!
This fraud of a company advertised that they will match the price if it's cheaper. My ticket was 100 dollars more from this rubbish of a company and they say that although the other flight is the same exact flight in terms of arrival and departure it has a different layover so they will not refund the difference. And I can not cancel my flight although it hasn't been 24h. One thing is for sure I will never have anything else to do with this dishonest company. Stay away if you can. Expedia or Orbit is so much better than them
HORRIBLE experience with Priceline name your price. Doesn't give you the option to select 1 or 2 beds so you have to call the hotel. Called the hotel and they want to charge $15 more for 2 beds. So what's the point of name your price for the lowest price? Call Priceline and they won't help. Spoke with 2 people 1 was a senior agent Brandon who would do nothing to help. Would not comp us the $15, won't change our hotel, won't talk to the hotel to give us 2 beds at the price we were quoted. So now we are paying $93 for a 2 star motel
If only I could give -0 I will rate them negative -0 as in I spent 3hrs. Over the phone they kept me on hold several times. I wanted to cancel my flights from them and the issue wasn`t even resolved. Spending more than 3hrs. Is way too much!
I had a flight booking using Priceline last year and it was booked 2 months in advance and it was such a good deal. Everything went smoothly and for that price, I was amazed so I say they are good for flights. The site was easy to use and they sent everything to my email.
When i was ordering on priceline, i was expecting that they will delay my order and quality will also cheap. But I had amazing experience here. They deliver my order before the dead line and quality is better than other online services.
I purchased a ticket from Priceline with a trip protection plan. When I had to cancel the trip for a reason. They denied the refund. I would never ever use their platform again. Also, I have used Expedia before for protecting my trip. The refund was so easy, I wish I had used Expedia instead.
OK, I know I signed on to a nonrefundable car rental with Priceline, then my situation changed. I was told that we would be picked up at the airport and did not need a car. We are a Church and cant afford to waste money. I spoke with customer service and they would not bend. Most companies at least try to be flexible, but not Priceline! Bye Bye Priceline!
The worst experience ever online booking! Stay away from priceline.
They offer something they CANNOT deliver and they do have cancelation fees with awful customer service. Never, ever use this site again!
Priceline shouldn't be in business.
I had the worst hotel experience ever on 8/5/2022 in Reno. Econo Lodge near Reno Sparks. Priceline should have a standard. That s... hole was a nightmare omg. I wanted to give this review a zero sheesh.
Forget this company. I booked a car through Auto Slash (I think they must somehow be affiliated with Priceline) which then went through Priceline to Hertz. The total with tax and fees was $475.63. I then set up with Auto Slash's price watch system, and I received an email that I could get a better deal on my car for $690. WTF? I emailed them, and they told me that was a great deal because the car I rented was really $979! I called Hertz and they confirmed that the rental price for the car was $979.82, using the same confirmation number. I told them I had a copy of the confirmation for $475, and essentially they said, not our problem, call Priceline. I called Priceline who tried to give me a bs story about higher taxes at the time I was booking, and essentially said, sorry.
I was told if I miss the departure flight then everything is lost and no refunds. Seems odd to lose the trip on the way back that I paid for just for not making the departure flight. Since that didn't happen, the deal was amazing but I just wanted to warn others of that.
After being burned from a priceline hotel deal, you would think I would have wised up and heeded my own advice. Ug. Once again, the dangling propaganda lured me in like a starved shark- but this time, it was for a car rental. Do NOT use priceline for a car rental or any other service. I found another like car for $68.60 less then what I ended up getting stuck for with Priceline. Don't let their so called "price guarantee" fool you! I am now not only stuck paying more money, but with an inferior car.
Just a quick note on the hotel room I got from priceline. It was suppose to be a 4 star hotel, the room was filthy and looked at a wall. We ended up having to move rooms 4 times before we settled on a mediocre room. And to top it off, the guests in the room next to us smoked non stop, releasing toxic tobacco smoke into our room. Priceline's response was, sorry we consider that a 4 star hotel. Yeah and priceline, I consider you less then zero, but that was not an option.
Upon finding out my conference in DC was canceled due to the out break pandemic, I called to cancel my flight. I explained to several associates that I don't travel and was only going to attend this conference. These people are the absolute rudest and don't care about PEOPLE. All they want to do is work and that is it. I am now left with vouchers that are only good for 6 months or so and I will not be using. Not to mention that my hold time was 47 hours for them to return my call, that's 2 hours before my flight was supposed to leave. I am beyond frustrated that I will not be getting my money back and even more upset on how these agents are treating their customers, with a script they have memorized and that's it. I have a child and could really use the money in this difficult time right now. If I could do no stars I would.
Arrive at LAX go to get my car at Fox Rental Car and there's a three-hour wait line unbelievable. Spend $60 on an Uber ride because I have no rental car get to the hotel which is very highly overrated for a 4-star hotel the phone didn't even work the windows were so filthy couldn't even see the view. Trip was cut short because we had no car but had a horrible hotel to stay in you go Priceline good job should have read your Yelps in the first place my fault. The only thing good was the airline trip which was sponsored by Delta not Priceline you're a fraud. Again scam alert scam alert.
I don't travel much and always thought Priceline.com had the lowest prices based on advertisements I have heard. I booked a hotel room through their site, did not use "name your price" or "express deal" because I was not sure where the hotel would be and the deals weren't much better then what I could find on other hotel websites. After I booked the room feeling like it was an ok price, I found the exact same room on booking.com for $65 cheaper over our three night stay. Called the customer service line because I saw the "Lowest Price Guaranteed". They weren't going to refund the $65 difference because the cancellation policies were different (and Booking.com had a better cancellation policy!). The call lasted over 1/2 an hour in which I was listening to terrible music. I was on hold for 25 of the 30 minutes. I was finally nasty enough that the operator refunded me the price difference. I WILL NEVER USE PRICELINE AGAIN.
I purchased a flight on Priceline.com and found a cheaper one on the airlines website. I had 24 hrs to cancel the Priceline booking per policy statement. The website would not allow me to cancel whole trip so I had the misfortune to call a customer service representative... I told him I needed to change dates and this is reason for canceling. He was rude and arrogant and not at all friendly or helpful so I told him that he was in the wrong job because his customer service stinks. I got my flight over $150 cheaper using the airline website and noted insurance was $10 cheaper too. What a scam. I vowed never to use Priceline again after this unnecessary experience.
Answer: The agreed to price is inclusive. I would look at dollar's website before renting from Priceline. There is no layer of protection from prcln.
Answer: With Price Line you may pay a reduced price. However, you get reduced services. Be prepared for hidden costs from the merchant as their ads on Price Line do not include their entire policy.
Answer: I'm not sure what you mean by "receive" the e-ticket. I've booked numerous times through priceline and other intermediaries, but have never received a ticket. I would suggest that you look at the itinerary that you've received from priceline and look for the Airline Confirmation Number (which may be a sequence of letters and or numbers depending on the airline). Then go to the airline's website and look up your flight itinerary. This process also varies by airline, but there should be some menu such as "My Trips" or other itinerary look up option. The airline should be able to find your itinerary based on your name and confirmation number. If your priceline itinerary contains an e-ticket number, you may be able to use that on the airline's website as well. If the airline has your itinerary, you're good to go. You'll be able to check in and get a boarding pass (electronic or print) 24 hours prior to your flight. If the airline has no record of you, then you've got a problem.
