I had an amazing experience with priceline. They provided amazing hotel room on nominal price. I will come next time too for more.
I was not expecting quality services. As reviews show here that their services are not even little good. But these guys surprised me.
Not all deals are good, but some are. Still have to check Kayak and Expedia to make sure you get the best deal
I hired them for air travel. They just did fabulous job for me. My last visit to USA was amazing because of them.
My friend who was visiting me, left the Tampa Airport on Silver Airways that I had booked for her through Priceline.com. After an hour of a run around, Priceline saying the Airlines was supposed to honor the ticket and the Airline said Priceline was liable not them. The Supervisor, Magadelana who was probably from another country, was rude, curt, insolent and said that they could not honor the ticket because TSA had held her up at made her miss her flight. She arrived at the airport at 4:15pm for a 6:05pm flight from Tampa to Pensacola. NEVER BOOK ANYTHING THROUGH PRICELINE.COM they are crooks, I had to spend $132.00 for her hotel and $289.00 for a new one way ticket. They are the WORST. Do not EVER book a flight through an agent go directly to the airlines.
I must say they are very professional and efficient too. I can easily get their services online just in a click. I never face even a single issue.
NIGHTMARE. Period. I booked three tickets through Priceline.com in Jan., 2014.
We were scheduled to depart in June. My husband had to come back earlier than the other two, so we had to book two separate reservation. Everything was COMFIRMED by the airline company. Then, just FIVE DAYS BEFORE THE DEPARTURE, the airline company contacted us and told that my husband's ticket was invalid BECAUSE OF THE BOOKING MISTAKE MADE BY PRICELINE'S SUB-CONTRACTOR. The airline rep informed he had no seat unless he was willing to fly to other country first. Everything was scheduled in our country with our family, especially my husband's side, and we could not delay the arrival. I had to spend 4-6 hours a day for three days trying to fix it while Priceline and the airline company blame each other, but finally we had to give up and book tickets with other airline company. We ended up paying $1200 extra for each person. Priceline did not refund and kept us bouncing between them and the airline company, until finally we hired an attorney and had him write a demand letter. It was 4 months later. We asked them to pay the difference between the original price and the price we were forced to pay(there were only super expensive seats left when we had to book three days before the departure date), but till now they keep ignoring that. The difference was $1200 per person and in total $3600.
TERRIBLE COMPANY/CUSTOMER SERVICE. DO NOT TRUST.
The worste customer service ever, I bid on a rental car never confirmied something went wrong with my computer and is shut down when I powered my computer up it had confirmed the rental at $29 MORE THAT I HAD BIDDED AND I NEVER GOT THE CAR BUT THEY KEPT MY MONEY AND WOULD NOT HELP ME AT ALL Dwayne Topete.
Executive Services
KEPT EMAILING ME TELLING ME IT WAS MY FAULT TOO BAD
If I couldn't get a refund the executive service of customer service at least could have given me the rental car since I never picked one up... TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE THEY DO NOT HELP THEIR CUSTOMERS THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY
I buy insurance with priceline i cancel it and they choose to not refund me there insurance is a rip of purchase it directly from the insurance
I had to cancel my anniversary trip with my wife cause the lie about my rental car dont use this site u won't be satisfied i promise u will be unhappy just like we are now the WORST EVER
I have never written a review in my life but I thought that my experience justified a comment. I recently purchased a flight to China and called priceline to find out how much it would cost to change my flight to another one. The representative told me that they would go ahead and check that for me. When he came back on the line he told me that he had gone ahead and canceled my flight. The representative tried to convince me that I had to cancel my flight today and that he was going to charge me a 200 dollar fee for canceling my flight. I told him that I never gave him permission to cancel my flight and beause of the charge I wanted to remain on that flight. He told me at this time he would call me back after the matter was solved. I received one call but was not able to take it during that time. I tried to call back and no one was able to assist me with information. I called back a fourth time and they told me that my flight had been rebooked. It was disappointing that they never sent me a confirmation email stating that I was rebooked on the flight. They did not even apologize for their mistake or compensate me for my frustration. I interned at Priceline.com in the past and used to hold them in higher regard. I am very disappointed.
I booked my flight through priceline website and 1 week later my daughter wanted to join me so I called priceline to ensure she would be assigned a seat beside me on both our departure flight and return flight. The agent assured me that we were seated together. I called the airline 24 hours before my flight to check in and found that we were seated no where near each other and was instructed to call priceline back. I then called priceline only to be transferred several times and on the phone for over an hour. The representative told me I was seated beside her so I call the airline again while the priceline representative is on speaker phone to confirm this and again the airline states that priceline never confirmed my seating assignments causing me to lose the seat and the only seats beside each other would cost an additional $60.00. I talk to the priceline agent who heard every word the airline agent just said only to tell me there was nothing they could do because the initial priceline agent did put me beside my daughter but the airline has the discretion to change it. I told her, the airline did not say that and I know you heard them say priceline never confirmed my seats causing me to lose the seats. Again the priceline representative said there was nothing she could do unless I wanted to pay extra. I expressed I should not have to pay extra to fix their error and asked to speak to a supervisor. The priceline agent put me back through the que where I sat on hold for an additional 30 minutes. I will not only never book through priceline again but will ensure to tell everyone I know about my experience so that they may seek another source for their travel needs.
They quote you one rate for a hotel before you bid, then you find out that the hotel you booked in Los Angeles, where you ABSOLUTELY need a car, charges@$20.00/night for parking, and they also charge another $20.00/night for a small refrigerator in the room to preserve my medication. Those NECESSARY and NOT INCIDENTAL fees effectively doubled my nightly rate. Fee for services which you cannot do without are not considered incidentals.
When I called and told the agent that these NECESSARY fees were NOT disclosed to me before I booked, and that they constituted false advertising and bait-and-switch, and I asked that my reservation simply be moved to a hotel which does not charge for parking and a refrigerator, I was politely told that I was SOL, and to "read the contract" on the website.
They are basically hiding behind a bottom-dweller-shyster-lawyer-written contract instead of doing the right (and simple) thing and making a customer happy.
You may win now, my PRICELINE friends, but karma is a Beehatch! Out there somewhere, there's a bigger dog than you, and one day I KNOW he'll make you his $#*!, and I'll be there front and center to gloat!
My hotel reservation was amazing. I got room at 5 star hotel on very low price. Without priceline it was not possible.
My husband and I have used Priceline for two vacations and were extremely pleased with the price, accommodations and quality of service.
Services offer by priceline are average. I availed their services. Only rates are not good. They should provide flexible rate for clients
I would use more time also. If it will improve quality of products. Current products quality is just okay not so good.
Answer: The agreed to price is inclusive. I would look at dollar's website before renting from Priceline. There is no layer of protection from prcln.
Answer: With Price Line you may pay a reduced price. However, you get reduced services. Be prepared for hidden costs from the merchant as their ads on Price Line do not include their entire policy.
Answer: I'm not sure what you mean by "receive" the e-ticket. I've booked numerous times through priceline and other intermediaries, but have never received a ticket. I would suggest that you look at the itinerary that you've received from priceline and look for the Airline Confirmation Number (which may be a sequence of letters and or numbers depending on the airline). Then go to the airline's website and look up your flight itinerary. This process also varies by airline, but there should be some menu such as "My Trips" or other itinerary look up option. The airline should be able to find your itinerary based on your name and confirmation number. If your priceline itinerary contains an e-ticket number, you may be able to use that on the airline's website as well. If the airline has your itinerary, you're good to go. You'll be able to check in and get a boarding pass (electronic or print) 24 hours prior to your flight. If the airline has no record of you, then you've got a problem.
