It has regularly helped me communicate with my tenants for my two-bedroom apartment. Quite helpful little translator that builds better relationship with people from all parts of the world. I strongly recommend this.

How do they not have a service/fulfillment center in the U.S.A? It will cost me $75 to ship 5 units back to Lithuania (something that should have been posted on their site under the 30 day satisfaction/warranty section.

Seldom will a traveler be connected to wifi while touring. Only when they are in their hotel or restaurant etc so pretty useless and audio quality is also sub par.

So many languages to choose from you don't even have to pay any monthly fees. As long as you have an internet connection it works pretty good. Just a reminder that speaker must speak accurately with correct pause, otherwise the translation is misinterpreted.

Do not buy this product. If I could have given it zero stars I would have. This is a poor imitation of Google translator, it does not operate independently. It requires you to have your cell phone and cell phone service. It doesn't speak loudly enough to be heard and it sounds like a metal box. It does not have a friendly tone that would be amenable to having conversation. Google translator works much better. Further after discovering the poor quality of the product in order to return it, you have to pay for shipping back to Lithuania even though the product was shipped from the US. Then today I got the product returned to me so after having paid the extra money to ship it, they rejected my return, even though I followed the return instructions. Horrible, horrible poor service.

It has made communicating simple and has reduced my stress because I have been constantly encountering challenges in communicating with languages I am not familiar of during my travels. Yep, I've tried other devices and services (google) and this is the easiest to use with the best translation I've experienced. Small and light so it's easy to pack in a bag and use when needed. I got an idea about getting myself a Poliglu device because of my officemate who has it with him often times when we have business trips. He doesn't have the feeling of fear towards language differences bec of this tool. Well I got one for myself too. Thankful for this very helpful tool.

I had purchased the Poliglu translator, hoping it would be convenient, easy to use, and accurate. Well I found it to be so useful, in Venice and some of the other cities I traveled. Small enough to fit in your pocket. Everything I was hoping for Poliglu came through. Big thanks.

When I tried to get the app, which is necessary, I got a message that said the app would NOT work with my newer version of android.

They're response was to says they're working on it and then issue a refund.

True to their ad, Poliglu works by pressing the button, you speak, then you get the voice translation in a few seconds. I want to learn more languages and getting myself this thing will surely make me go a long way. Glad that my classmate told me about this. I was wondering how she can easily speak foreign languages! Now I know why!
