I tried this site, used interesting pictures and a detailed profile and got no dates in an entire year. It's hard to even get responses and the few times I did they were very mean out of nowhere or they are scammers trying to take advantage of you. Only male models will get any sort of response on here. Dating sites are all about looks and not about personality at all. Sites like this discriminate against ugly men. If you have a weak jaw, are prematurely balding, aren't tall enough, bad eye area, etc. then forget about using this site. You won't get anywhere with it and it will hurt your self esteem. This site promotes discrimination and lookism as only certain men with attractive physical features will get any dates regardless of profile or personality.

This site has A LOT of fakes. And when reported(a mechanism on the app allows you to report fakes and abusive content), POF DOES NOTHING ABOUT IT. They also do nothing about the abusive users. Not worth the time. Stay away.

Receiving profiles of persons in other states, different parts of my state. Old platform would mostly show profiles within 50-75 miles of my zip code. Service sucks even if paying member. Too many dumb things. Live is full of hookers and scammers it is a bull$#*! site
Well so far most of the guys here have been just looking for sex. The one guy I decided to actually meet after great phone conversations for a couple weeks turned out was just looking for a submissive. WYH. And his pictures were from years ago, lets just say he had aged not that well. The second guy I met seemed to good to be true as well. After many conversations we finally met, had a nice night (he made me dinner). This site is extremely strange its block my mess to guys I like and to prove it we set up a few profiles I sent mess and not one person got my mess I don't why the do that but it's unfair why keep fake profiles and please people stay away from it its rubbish once I I delete my account I won't be going back they are conning people that they are giving you a service once they get to know you they start interfering with your matches and so on it set up. Pof used to be atleast half decent tho you were more likely to get dirty pics then anything tells but atleast they were real people. Pof is now over run with scammers claiming they are military and then speaking in broken English. Pof is not where you go to meet anyone other then scammers. Such a waste of time and energy.
U went through several days of the "meet me" list and at least 60% of the profiles I clicked on were inactive more than a year. Not real good at matching you up with people who live nearby.
You can't change your birthday or your desired distance of referrals with POF First of all they don't have a phone number for customer service. When I sent a request in for the above corrections they sent me back an answer to a totally different question. Since then they have never responded to my second request for the same information

I got booted before I ever got a chance to use the site! Booted permanently. They said I violated the Terms of Service. I have no idea how. I asked them. They wouldn't say. Nothing disrespectful, no nudity, nothing wrong with what I put up.
