The Philippines already has one of the slowest internet services in Asia, but PLDT Home - the main service provider - only makes it worse with its monopolistic practices and abysmal customer service. Their DSL services are unreliable, constantly dropping out, and absolutely impossible to upload files larger that a few MB. Pricing is amongst the highest in Asia for one of the poorest services. PLDT have a monopoly in many parts of the Philippines. But if there is any alternative where you live, take it, because it's hard to imagine any service could be worse than PLDT Home.
