Play okay sucks... it is uneven... unfair... uneverything. The algorythyms make no sense... I suspect there is a bias to for European players to dominate. For example many players never see a rank below 1900... I've literally played over 2000 games and NEVER made it above 1800s in any game. I play spades, canasta, dice, netopoly and cribbage. Most of the time I will lose 11 games in a row in a game that requires ZERO skill... wins and loses based on algorythyms... its discouraging. I don't know how they keep people on there. The players are abusive, cheaters, and there is no recourse. I miss the other venues in which we could play good games and had at least a chance in hell of winning occasionally. Once you get to a certain rank its like an alarm goes off somewhere and you suddenly lose literally a dozen games back to back sinking you back down in rank while some rarely see a loss... its ridiculous.

If kurnik dislikes you, opponents always have inordinate number of miles and void suits. True waste of time.

I suspect the developer doesn't know what byo-yomi means. For instance 15+1 should mean 15 minutes main time and then each step counting to 1 min. However the setting appears to be after the main time is up the player only gets 1 minute for all steps. This is quite stupid and enables some $#*!y players to get cheap "wins".

Be careful! This platform is operated by fraudsters who will steall your money and then block you everywhere... I lost 230 euros!

Not only is cheating common, but one loses points if their partner abandons games which happens a lot. Very frustrating experience

Playok literally allows cheaters to roam freely and use analysis boards and other accounts meanwhile our a**es getting banned for mass registration. If you try asking, they act like "F*** you, not my problem". The biggest mistake is playok.com existing for almost 23 years. Marek Futrega needs to f***ing die.

I use to play at Yahoo games which was great, been a long time. Playok sucks, the cheating, and when you call the cheaters out, don't insult them or you'll get blocked, lol. The only good thing is the games have a time limit, if they otherwise copied how Yahoo did it that would be an improvement. Overall, if you enjoy playing games online, and you're looking for a good honest experience, playok is a waste of time.

Just a site of cheaters...mostly Polish who haven't a clue how to play. If you contact admin...they are rude & totally oblivious. Also never seen so many 1 bidders in my life. In real spades a 1 bid is an auto loss.

You wonder where all the Polak jokes come from, well this site is a great source. How many Polaks does it take to screw up a Gin Rummy game, answer, as many idiot Polaks that program and run the site. Computer set to deal gin in one or two cards, the card that are the players gin cards are the lone cards in your hand. You discard one of your pairs, the very next draw is a matching card. When you take an opponents discard, then discard it back, the very next draw for the opponent is their gin card. You have 7,9 spades dealt and you discard the 9, your very next card is the 8, you discard that, your very next card is the 6. POS site POS Polaks running the site, POS Polaks playing the game. Poor players with losing records, are dealt pat hands, gin or one card shy. Computer reads each players hands and is programmed to deal out the cards accordingly. POS site and people. Have fun!

I gave this website a pass when I knew they were letting people win over others and 'cheating'. It is a FREE site! But, when they put fake players into the game to rig it, I was done! I played against 2 people, one was called "administrator" Their time ran OUT. But, for some reason when they were about to lose their time DID NOT...ours did! Seriously? They were able to keep the clock going and make it looked like we times out. So, I created a NEW profile giving Playok ONE MORE CHANCE...And that's when I knew they were holding people back. The new profile I created and played and was doing 'ok' not red level, but, when I started doing good. My computer froze up on the screen. I could not get off the screen. I seriously think this site is not mean to have fun, I have been doing research and they are out of France (IPN address). They also only have one email to contact...no phone. This company has an ulterior motive. It is not about cards...

Extensive cheating activities and abusive languages, particularly from Chinese players are not managed at all. Never respond to reports and complaints.

I just wanna say the creator of this game,I fck ur mom dude.Wtf algorithm u use or u stole it from zanga games.Allmost same algortihm,old players are supported by 6-6,5-5,4-4 in backgammon.Never play this game please.They dont deserve visitors.There are a lot players who use hacking tools and when your partner lose,you wait 1 min for him and if he leaves,1 min more.Totally 2 min you wait for a son of btch.Some players create 5-10 min tables so you wait more than 2 min then.I just fck ur all family who created this site and who made algorithm of backgammon.

I would vote zero. I actually had an opponent named 'administrator.' Their time had run out...but they held the timer to make it look like my partners time ran out. So, WE lost when in actuality they lost. I have been going back and video recording games. I recently recorded a game with a person who was cheating and received a text message during the game from 'reidman' (I think that was the name) saying they knew who I was, and that the FBI was going to investigate me and come after me. GO ahead investigate me! They are lying and threatening us!

I got blocked for cheating when I did not cheat. A random person online I played with cheated. I thought we were playing against new players because we kept winning. I tried to explain myself and ask Play Ok to examine my account for any signs of cheating. They were immediately rude. I have had losses outside of playing one night with a person online who was cheating and I didn't know. I'm an older woman and don't know much about electronics. Horrible customer service. I guess if someone cheats, all around them get blocked too. Very sad.

Terrible programming, abusive players, cheating. If your partner leaves, you get penalized. And, there is a lose cycle - Once I counted 21 games in a row that were one-sided - totally impossible to win. Then, when I just decided to start over, I was banned for 5 days for "mas registration". Horrible

This site wasnt too bad at the beginning but now its full of cheaters.
The reply they sent me is laughable. It just shows you what to expect from their site.

After 10-15 games played today, everyone of my opponents end up with 2 to 4 times more doubles than I. And opponents are able to get out 3/3 with only one spot left, while I went 4/10 with 3 spots open, to try to come back in play. I mean I have played thousands of backgammon game in real life, where miracles happen now and then, not every game like on this website. But in this online cheating website, every game you will find suck outs and miracle dice rolls coming out 4-5 times per game. It's beyond beating the odds and beyond any form of cheating I have ever witnessed.

I only really use this to play spades, for which the code isn't great, the number of nil bids and high bids isn't realistic, both are way to frequent. People on the site seem to have issues and give abuse for the slightest error from their partner, some do it even when just bad luck with the cards. Some very obvious cheating, people talking to each other in private messages about their hands and when reported the site admin don't care. On plus side, not crazy with adverts, no need to pay to play, simple interface that (apart from the dealing) seems to work.
