Gold seller uses stolen World of Warcraft gold to fulfill deliveries. Will cause your account to get flagged as well as not receiving currency that was paid for. Playerauctions support did nothing in over a week with no communication to update on the situation.

http://i.imgur.com/HoFWKkW.jpg - received 1 hour after delivery accompanied with this email.

"Greetings,

Account Name: WOW1

We are writing to notify you that a character on the above World of Warcraft account has received gold from another player known to be associated with exploitive activities, such as in-game scams or account theft. After a thorough investigation, we have determined that the gold provided to this account was originally stolen from one or more other players. That gold has been removed from this account and returned to the rightful character(s).

Account Action: Notification
Gold Removed: *******. 62

Our policies on stolen virtual goods such as gold apply to any player who either knowingly or unknowingly received in-game currency or other items that were originally acquired through scams, account theft, or other fraudulent activities.

Third-party companies that sell World of Warcraft gold or other virtual currency for real-world money operate in direct violation of the game's Terms of Use (http://us.blizzard.com/en-us/company/legal/wow_tou.html). These companies frequently employ exploitive practices in order to acquire the gold they sell, and players who choose to buy gold and support these companies can be subject to account action, including the removal of the purchased gold or other goods.

Additional information on the negative impact of purchasing gold, as well as some important information on how you can protect your account from theft, can be found at: http://us.battle.net/wow/services/anti-gold/.

Any appeals concerning the above account action can only be addressed by Account Administration. To learn more about how Account Administration is able to assist you, please visit us at http://us.battle.net/support/en/article/account-administration-overview. Maplestory Account
April 16, 2015

I brought a maplestory account from playerauctions and now I know that this is the one if not the best site around. Other than a little delay because the seller couldn't get online I wasn't able to get the account information until today. If i ever consider buying another account I will do so from playerauctions.

Greetings,

playerauctions.com - really easy to find the site, the interface is customer-friendly and it's really easy to purchase/sell@ their store - they guide you step-by-step through everything you need and provide all the help you need in case you have any doubts. They accept lots of different payment methods. Gotta love this site, for sure I will come back.

Cheers, PoE gamer.

Great Site for C. O. C
April 9, 2015

Well, for one I needed a good Clash of Clans account so I looked online. To me demise I found this site (PlayerAuctions). I scrolled down through the prices and had to say they were pretty expensive until I found a few that were cheap. I MEAN CHEAP! I right away went on and tried to buy them. I bought two of the accounts I needed for cheap. I absolutely loved it! This site is amazing.

As an EVE Online Customer, I need to say I am disappointed in the clandestine way of delivery of ISK I acquired via the site. As a customer of the rather ingeniously made site, I was expecting delivery of the seller's party on a contract based method. Ideally, even in batches of smaller sums adding up on the whole requested sum of ISK. But no, alas, the seller transferred the whole amount of ISK as a player donation, which might really arouse suspicion of the game devs and put me on the watchlist or even ban me. So, beware.

Cheap, fast, safe and efficient
March 31, 2015

Currently completing my order as I write this. It seems to have gone beyond smooth. Both the seller and I were able to make a negotiation, which suited us both. A successful trade as well as a successful service provided by the seller and the company PlayerAuctions. I will definitely buy again - and so should anyone doubting! It is simply amazing; service and security is a top priority

I like that the transaction doesn't happen until you get your gold and there is a middle man so it is 100% safe.

Don't do it. Find another way to mediate it on your own. The buyer took the items off of the account I sold then claimed I recovered the account in order to get his refund. Despite sending loads of evidence to Playerauctions to show that I had transferred the account and ingame mails to show that he had done in-game activities even after he claimed he had no account access, I had to wait a week per reply from Playerauctions to simply have them pester me to let them conclude the deal in his favor.

Not only didn't get the payment, but spent almost a month maintaining an account that by all rights and promises by Playerauctions should be the buyer's, and I ended up losing money due to the buyer using up items, such as my APEX.

The Live Chat CS reps are nice and respond quickly. Any email systems are dreadful, and if there's any problems with your order, that's what it turns into. They ended up contacting me from two different email addresses as well as an online ticketing system. I answered the first one, they would message me from the second saying I had not answered them. I answered the second, they did the same from the third.

They have never let me down.
March 28, 2015

I have been busy and it had been a while since i had played EQ. I found my account had been hacked and wasted so i had to start anew. Not really having time to raise plat i went to PlayerAuctions, like i often used to, and made a purchase and they didn't let me down. Often businesses get worse over time but the experience was has good has it ever has been, at no point in time did i feel uncertain that i was going to lose my money, in fact, it was done before i could finish a cup of coffee. Thanks much for helping get back on my game feet quickly!

I purchased 15mil gold on old school runescape, and was scammed by the seller. It took playerauctions over two weeks to respond, and they didn't respond until I opened a dispute with paypal. They then refused to give me any refund. Playerauctions is a fraudulent site, DO NOT USE IT!

The site is good.
March 21, 2015

Well in general. The site is easy to use, and easy to navigate. Everything is easy, when it comes to placing orders and finding things.

I have no real complaints, overall they are very good at what they do. The only reason why i wouldn't give them 5 stars, is because of 1 thing.

1. Registration, would at times reset or bug slightly out, and would give me random errors, when verifying.

SLOW AN UNHELPFUL
March 19, 2015

If you buy an account on this site you better pray they dont hack it back, as this happened to me weeks into having the account i filed account reclamation so i can get my refund from the insurance i bought with the acc. Its been three weeks now an I still dont have my refund, my seller got my cash an his account back and everytime I talk to live chat customer support which is 100 times now they say the same god damn "I understand... Im sorry for the inconveniance" wait for our mediation team to get back to you regarding your case". Goodluck with that they take WEEKS for a reply and when they do it goes to waste with them saying "update regarding your case weve contacted the seller and waiting for a reply". WHY WOULD THEY REPLY TO YOU IF THEY WERE THE ONES THAT HACKED IT? Horrible experience goodbye 160$

If ordering for the first time plan on taking time to do so. If your in a hurry, wait till you have time before starting out.
First they want to verify your account by sending you a PIN via phone. Tried to have them text to my cell 2 times, received nothing, then I had them try calling my cell with an automatic message of my PIN, received nothing. Started up a live chat, the cust service person was clueless and actually 3 sentences in asked if there was anything else they could help me with... when they still had not fixed my original problem! Finally they had someone physically call me and give me my PIN (they were nice and courteous).
When using a CC for the first time with them you will have to verify a pre-authorization charge, it will be less than $1. Once you input that amount you then have to redo your CC information one more time... then your good to go.
The extra security step are nice to have in my opinion.
