AGAIN I REPEAT! DO NOT BUY A RS ACCOUNT FROM PLAYERAUCTIONS.COM THE PERSON WILL ALWAYS RECOVER IT I HAD OVER 100$ STOLEN FROM ME AND PLAYERAUCTIONS DID NOTHING! I AM FILING A FULL PAYPAL CLAIM WITH PHOTOS AND EVERYTHING. IF YOU DO PURCHASE TAKE SCREENSHOTS OF EVERYTHING AND I MEAN EVERYTHING.
The vetting part wasn't exactly explained well and with the fact that I have to go through the hassle of calling my bank to see what amount was input and finding that multiple attempts cost me moneyit is pretty infuriating.
Their 'featured' seller sold me bad gold, gold that was tagged by game publisher and automatically taken from my account along with my OWN gold that I had as punishment. Now, I've bought gold before (in smaller volumes) and never had this problem. I contacted CS several times (like 5+ time) over the course of one to two months. Terrible CS that don't care and never bother to follow up. It's a waste of time continuing to chat with them as they will just tell you to wait for their "XXX team" to get back to me. What a joke.
I bought a $300 account through their website(Playerauctions). 1-2 months later the account was reclaimed and i started a support ticket with them. I had chats and conversations back and fourth from their "support team" for a good 1 month. The results: they said they would take "appropriate action against that seller" because he failed to follow up on my dispute. However, nothing happened. My $300 that i spent was not refunded and i was not given any credit either back onto my account. So i came out losing $300 and getting no account. "Worlds safest account seller and buying"? NOPE. STAY AWAY!
I've used the service before in the past with no issues, however my most recent purchase has suddenly required a photo ID, picture of me with the ID, and a utility bill... all for a $10 purchase.
But still, I jumped through the hoops only to be denied because I'm in the military and they don't accept military IDs (aren't those government issued IDs?) and my drivers license is expired (Most states don't require out of state military to renew their license if they're on orders).
This wouldn't be so bad if all this information was required BEFORE purchasing. But nope. They take your money, then require all this extra information that's really above and beyond any other online purchase. It almost feels like some sort of scam.
Just know what you're getting yourself in to if you decide to use this service.
Player Auctions makes me feel safe and secure with my purchases. There is no other website that does this. Great service every time. :)
The site, Playerauctions.com is by far the most secure and reliable site I have ever used to conduct virtual goods transactions. However, the account setup, credit card and telephone vetting, and the secure banking vetting interfaces are very clunky and confusing to use. On my first order attempt, I was redirected multiple times and had to re-enter banking information multiple times. I had thought I was at the end of my ordering process several times, just to be redirected to another form of vetting and or verification. I wonder if the site could direct you to a simple step-by-step list BEFORE bouncing you from page to page while you are wondering if you had done something incorrectly, and for the simple fact of being aware of what you needed to do / provide. Customers making their first order are greeted with nothing that explains to them what they need to do to totally complete the vetting process. Other than that slight hiccup, the site was wonderfully thorough, and the service fast(post vetting). I would feel confident in directing friends and associates to use this website, but I will be sure to warn them of the confusing and never ending vetting process.
But when something's not quite right and you need to talk to their support, it's terrible. Super slow responses, and they seem to not even look at the info you put in before chatting...
Other than their Customer Service, it's a great site.
Waiting 3 weeks for their support to change my disbursement e-mail because I accidentally wrote wrong address. This job shouldn't take more then 24 hours, no matter what. And guess what? They still haven't changed it.
After successful trade, buyer confirmed trade, 2 weeks later buyer decided to scam me and he said to them I haven't delivered items I should and now they will bring money back to buyer?! That is total non-sense, I don't understand how $#*!ty and bad some people are. I can't believe I got scammed so easily by some morons...
This is the first and last review of PA I will write I am tried of there scamming and abuse of the internet and stealing trust form its gaming players, the latest scam, they are having trouble disbursing the sellers money for a week now, I did get the satisfaction that Pay Pal is now reviewing their account for possible cancellation because of so many complaints, GAMER BEWARE
I recently tried to sell a game account on playerauctions. Firstly they wanted photo ID, my address (basically enough info to attempt an identity theft) which I obliged, and now really regret.
A buyer bought my game account and as per playerauctions policy they inspected it first (or so they claimed) to make sure everything was in order. The buyer, ransacked my account, sold everything off, sold off my characters and destroyed everything I had acquired, then disputed the sale, claiming I did not deliver. I provided huge amounts of evidence in the form of screenshots, logs, message exchanges etc and pointed out with 100% proof that the buyer was scamming me. The buyer then changed his story (which the evidence also countered 100%) but playerauctions keep running me in circles for weeks on end,
3 weeks now of canned responses and 'please wait' emails. Their customer support in non-existent - they've simply enabled some guy to rob me and now their giving me the stonewall where I get a reply from them once every week with some generic 'please wait' one liner response from customer support.
Do not deal with these guys. Despite the threat of identity theft if you're a seller, the will not protect you from being scammed or ripped off. They will largely ignore you if you run into a problem at all. It takes weeks to get a reply off them and that reply is always a brush off or stonewall.
Avoid at all costs!
When i was registering for an account, i accidentally put in a "fake name" that at the time thought it was my username. I went to buy some gold on the 13th at 1 PM. I checked my card, and they took the money out of my account within 2 mins. Now i was still waiting by the time 9 PM rolled around. I went onto customer support and they said that my account needed to be verified. So i simply verified it and then they told me that i was using a "fake name". I told them that i must have though that it was going to be a username and they understood. They told me to send a ID and my proper real name to some email. They told me it would take 24 hrs. I patiently waited and kept checking on the order. I come back 36 hours later, after checking and double checking, I went back on live support and they apparently had sent an email to me. Well they didn''t. So i asked the GM to re send it, and you know what they said? "Please do not cover up your photo on your ID" Really? It took you 36 hours to say that? The GM told me to resend my id, so i did. And he told me i had to wait another 24-48 hours for THAT id to process. After that i proceeded to tell him that I was going to cancel my order. It's not like we were using snail mail or anything, we're in 2015 using the best technology to date and i have to wait this long for a photo ID to be approved. Wow. Talk about being lazy. SO i canceled my order, and now its going to take up to 1 business day for the funds to be back into my account. L. O. Fking. L
Takes like weeks to response a e-mail etc very slow and no response at all.
Its like talking to wall. They will just ignore you forever...
A great site all around. Easy to navigate and even insure and protect your purchase in case a buyer goes back on their word. I was able to find a few things I needed for much less than I would have found anywhere else.
I'd recommend playerauctions to anyone.
I paid you guys 50 dollars for 15m in Gil that I have never got my guys name on ff14 is Neon Goodbye my server is siren I would like to have what I paid for my paypal said you guys got the money
I'm very happy about this site work! They are safe and fast! Thanks for make this great community!
Awesome site, great service and the only way to make sure these kind of sales are secure since Playerauctions protects you from chargebacks. Just need to make sure you're buying/selling to actual players and not the spam botting gold sellers that also sometimes list on here, but that's usually pretty clear from the offer listings. A+
First case:
I did not get the payment I got promised on my first payment and when I tried contacting the support, they claimed I did get the payment and closed the case.
Second case:
They're delaying it for more than 40 days ( still counting), I'm contacting the support daily.
I sold a Tibia account on this website recently and a few days later the buyer claimed to them that I recovered it, which did not happen. He ADMITTED that he has the account and uses it actively on the website's messenger to me. And here I am, 7 days later, having sent all the appropriate screenshots, still not paid and no update on the status of the case. Either this website is a scam or the people that work for it are completely $#*!ing useless.
I'm just gonna take my account back, PlayerAuctions has been by far one of the biggest hassles I've ever tried to deal with. 0/10 Would not recommend. Also, avoid doing any type of business with kingtonygg, he is the scammer that thought he could steal my account.
Answer: You don't want to buy from them.
Answer: Just don't use their service. Trust me, you will save a lot of your nerves and time if you don't.
Answer: How to get started. Click the URL bar and type anything other than your terrible website. Unless you want to be scammed to lose time and money, in which case go ahead and continue using playerauctions.com.
Answer: You got scammed! So did I. PlayerAuctions is nothing but a SCAM!
Answer: Maybe this will help: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Playerauctions Regardless they have terrible Customer Service. Their english is not proficient to be doing business in the US and their work ethic is just terrible. It's a shame that they show the stereotypical greed of chinese who just does it for money and doesn't care what gets in the way and cuts too many corners to be acceptable to be called "The worldโs safest player to player trading marketplace for WOW Gold, Runescape Gold, Guild Wars 2 Gold, ArcheAge Gold, CS: GO items and much more."
Answer: Don't do business with this company, they stole my money after my account was recovered merely a month later -- I'll be reporting them to the BBB after tonight.
Answer: Hello Mikael. Could you please try accessing the site again on a different browser? It might have just been a temporary website server issue, and this might be sorted out already. If you continue to have problems with this, please take a screenshot of where there seems to be an issue, then send it along with your username to support@playerauctions.com.
Answer: Absolutely. As a buyer, your payment is secure with us and will not be released to the seller until you click confirm on our website, once you have decided that the item/gold/account that you bought is good and complete. If you find any problems with the sale, you may dispute it and if the sale you received is not as described, you will be issued a refund. As a seller, your payment will be released once buyer is satisfied with the sale, and this guarantees that you will receive payment as opposed to transacting blindly on the internet with someone you don't know. In the case of disputes, if you've proven that you were able to deliver the sale successfully and as described, you will get the payment. Please note that we enact the User Assumption of Risk as stated in the front page of our website, in that we cannot guarantee that all trades will be free from risks. However, by carefully securing your order and being wary of scamming attempts, together with our team's efforts to secure an order, this can be thoroughly mitigated. I can elaborate more if you'd like, just post another question, Sabrina.
Answer: They will make sure you don't get refunded. Be sure of that. There sites a massive scammed just Google them...
