I have tried unsuccessfully FOUR times to unsubscribe, as 'advertisement clutter' in my inbox annoys me. There is a place to unsubscribe to Pinterest - apparently no one is paying attention to it!
I order merchandise as I NEED it, not because of ads.
However, I will no longer order anything through Pinterest. This, in my opinion, is poor customer service.
I've had pinterest for not that long and they susPender it for not reason. I've been suspend for a month now and I've emailed them constantly as in every 3 days. They don't reply to my emails and questionss and they seem to just ignore you. I'm very frustrated with them and I feel that they should improve their service
The recipes and people posting them are not the problem. The website itself is the problem. I understand the website needs advertiser's to pay for the site, but enough is enough. I just spent the last hour trying to print a recipe. Apparently i need to join and subscribe before i was able to print and see full version of recipe…I gave up. I will print recipes i have saved and delete account. It is not worth the frustration. I will find another way to search and print recipes. P.S. Years ago it wasn't like this..
IMO & experience all attempts to Unsubscribe from Pinterest are futile. The site acts like and tells you that you are Unsubscribed, but the UNethical email keep coming. Beware joining this company if you don't want stream of UNwanted emails.
Their pin suggestions are way off. I mean, waaaay off. They send emails at an annoying rate. They used to be a place to collect great images, now they are just links to websites with an image and tons of ads. I used to love them. Not anymore.
I just wanted to look at a few photos from a 60s television show (the Munsters) when I did a google search. As it stands, I need a pintrest account to do so. WHY...? For what? It seems as though "VISUAL DISCOVERY" is their motto... ONLY if you have an account with them. So they can monetize my wanting to look at a few pictures. Cool idea... yeah. So great. NOT...
Love it sooooo much.
There are always easily for me to find charming pictures there.
If I need any picture for an article, I can easily to find a suitable one through Pintrest.
And it is also a good place to share what you like with your friends.
Love it.
Popzora will not refund items. They are cheep polyester clothing from China which do not fit American sizes. Shipped direct from China and will not accept returns or give refunds more than 15% of original price.
Do not buy from this company Popzora on Pintrest
Pinterest, I LOVE YOU,. I'm on you every day! Why did you take away the "Like" icon? I'm annoyed because there are things I want to just like and save to my own private area. Please bring it back. And why did you change PIN to Save? It's called Pinterest, not Saveterest... just saying.
When searching for random keywords, guess what. There's Pinterest with an irrelevant link to a page which you can't even view because you're not logged in. It is simply the most annoying website that I know.
This is such a great site--if you're a visual person, you'll love it.
What it does is allow you to collect ("pin"–via a cute "pin it" button placed neatly in your toolbar) everything you love on the web and organize it into categories ("boards"). You can cluster your favourite whatevers (art, photographs, clothes, recipes, interiors, quotes etc) on a pretty little page, which you can share with the rest of the Pinterest world (and whomever chooses to "follow" you), and, in turn, follow any other boards you like, and pick up new "pins" by "repinning."
It's super inspiring, perfect for planning, and it's also great for picking up helpful DIYS and recipes too.
I like Pinterest and all, I think it's fine, but I have two complaints:
1. The constant change of formatting. In the past week, there have been two changes in format, causing me to get confused and save pins to the wrong board.
2. The DOZENS of daily notifications. I'm sorry Pinterest, but I DON'T CARE if someone saved the same pin as me. You don't have to send me a bunch of notifications saying "6 pins from Ideas were saved." I end up having to take a few minutes to clear out my inbox and checking my notifications to see if they are worth looking at, which most of the time they aren't.
But now I'm just sick to death of all the ads that have absolutely nothing to do with what I pin! Hair ads, fashion ads, survey marketing ads and it goes on and on! I deactivated Facebook because of all the crap on that and thought I had Pinterest to fall back on, but alas no. Get your act together Pinterest and start listening to these complaints!
I constantly have to use cell data for app otherwise pictures wont load. There is nothing wrong with my wifi, this is the only app that requires me to waste my data. Even after de-selecting all the autoplay video features in setting and turning off all general notifications. The app continues to play audio while scrolling thru pins. Unable to turn off, forcing me to put my entire phone on DND just to stop hearing the stupid audio of ads, music, and miscellenous sounds.
I dislike very much when I am searching for recipes and they automatically go to Pinterest and I cannot print the recipe without signing up, subscribing, blah, blah, blah.
A few years ago I ordered an item and NEVER received it, not even an apology.
I do not understand the hype. I wish I could ban it from my computer. Now I just go to Food Network before I search for a recipe.
Well I wish pinintrest can have a option like for example there is image option when we have all images and then we have the video option where we can see all videos or else we can't know which picture has a video attachment and which dose not and it always says to login if we click on the link of pinintrest from google for getting more info than we can't move so much down to see the related images it always asks to login
I spend a lot of time planning home projects with Pinterest, and I just love it! I get great ideas from others, and I get to save all of my favorite website in one spot. No more bookmarking pages, when I can just upload what I'm looking at to my Pinterest page. Brilliant tool!
Cute good I like it but when you try to sign in to do everything but then when you type in your age it says sorry use your real age I do and I try 50 other ages but it doesn't work and so many other people have this problem to fix it now!
Answer: I warned everyone about what a piece of crap pinterest is and now their true colors are showing. #PinterestSucks
Answer: I was sent a message on May 29th alerting me of my suspension, with no explanation, only that they would be sending an email explaining why. I sent an email to their help desk explaining I was a long time member with thousands of posts, none of which I considered to be against their policy. They acknowledged my email and said I'd get a reply shortly. I have not heard back nor do I expect to. This is not the first time this has happened and I have learned my lesson. They have no regard for their members and their customer service is nonexistent. Never again!
Pinterest has a rating of 2.1 stars from 474 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with Pinterest most frequently mention customer service, multiple times and email address. Pinterest ranks 481st among Social Network sites.
