Pinterest facilitates a website with stolen photos. If you click on a photo and save it (also on pinterest). Are you being accused of copyright?
It is a site where people exhibit stolen photos from the internet.
Not recommended.
Been on Pinterest off and on for years. Just got back on and am totally disgusted with all the advertising. They might as well just post advertising and forget the subject matter.
Everytime I click on a recipe there is so much advertising it overlaps the the recipe.
Totally disgusted with this platform.
So for starters everything on Pinterest is very misleading. But what gets me the most is the stuff sold on Pinterest or advertised on Pinterest. I have recently bought two items that I have seen on Pinterest. One was a hair straightener for men's beards and on the advertisement they showed Men grooming their beards with this straightener and their hair coming out extremely straight. Well it will straighten your hair but it gets extremely hot you cannot put it on your face the way they advertise you will burn. Second was a RC tractor it was advertised as fully Functional. The thing does not even want to drive on a flat surface it has no power and also it is not fully functional. It only goes back-and-forth now I could get an RC car from Walmart that goes back-and-forth for around $10 I paid $35 for this POS that I bought through advertisement on Pinterest. For this reason I will be deleting Pinterest.
I had collected what was probably thousands of pins over the years with hundreds of followers. I loved pinterest! Then, I decided to organize my pins using the new sub-boards. I also upgraded my account to a business account. I was copying pins to sub-boards with the intent of removing the old ones, and Pinterest closed my account... with NO warning. The only explanation I received was that most of my pins were spam (not true at all) or that I posted something inappropriately. Vague responses, no warning, and all is lost.
Every new account I make is immediately suspended. The first time I clicked on the email they sent so they could check it out. I'd only had a chance to pin one quote about being valuable and they kicked me out. It's been a couple of weeks and still no one has gotten back to me so I decided to create a new account thinking maybe that didn't go through and again immediately after I pinned a quote and a picture that wasn't anything against their guidelines they suspended that account except this time when I was sent the email and tried to click on it, it said access to their site was denied. So, I've signed up to iheartit.com thinking Pinterest has been hacked or something.
In the past month or more, my friends old pins keep coming up in my home feed. Now the pins in my home feed are not showing who they are from. Why is there Always so many Problems with Pinterest??? I have contacted the Help department many times, and they have been No Help At All!
I use this app for my business and to get inspired with creative ideas. I have used the app for years. Now I am experiencing it by using it for my online store and I am very excited to see what type of results I get from using Pinterest.
Pinterest spreading like a virus and looks like cancer that will erode freedom for content on the public domain. Many images are not even legally owned by the website yet still being controlled due to their users interest alone. This website is building by WEB USER INTEREST in images and seems it is trying to monopolize all images and control the web by its control over images due to blocking unregistered viewers. In a google search i must opt out (-pinterest) to avoid the images from this site since it then blocks your viewing after 30seconds unless registering for that site. Once registered they send overload of images much like spam to your email to increase "Interest" for more claim over the images. This site should be boycotted to save the web as public domain and free to all.
What happened? All of a sudden the view of the pins has changed. The view of my boards has changed and when I am going through boards and moving stuff around it doesn't go back to the board you were at, it goes to the top of your boards and you have to scroll down to where you were. Even the Save button has been put on the other side of the pin. What is up with that. When I first open Pinterest to see new pins, it is showing pins I have already pinned sometimes 2 and 3 times. This is not an improvement.
I like Pinterest because it's easy to organize stuff. However, I find the content being catered to females more especially the health and fitness. I think it's a great site and I enjoy being on it. I just wished there were more male views on the site.
I have been with Pinterest for a year and worked hard on my boards about my life and things a would want to and accomplish. My account has been suspended and I took account of the policies and tried my best to make sure I was in guide lines. They nail in the coffin was last pin I know I did not pin. I have been suspicious about some pins that where inappropriate and some I have never seen. There are peoples board that a dedicated to porn nudity both men an women. But unfortunately I did report them as someone did to me? On a privat for my eyes only board In no way shape or form where my boards inappropriate. All I have planned for my family and future its pretty much dead, thanks so much for ruining my life and time. I just wanted account back. There is never a thing as being to careful. RUINED
Unable to submit requests to access special topics of interest. Very poorly done Unable to type in requests, when you do pinterest format goes to different topic. Cake central not as aggravating as pinterest.
Pinterest is a great site to find pics that you can't find with the search engines. One downside i've noticed that I can't seem to get help with is the fact that I cannot log in to my account. I've tried typing my details manually, with no success, i've tried logging in with my google account with no success. But, even though i've deleted my facebook account, I think that I WOULD be able to log in with facebook, because just like wish.com, they want your personal details to sell you ads & other unwanted things...
Dispicable actions on behalf of the company lead me to call for banning this hateful site and it's attack on conservatives and free speech. https://twitter.com/Project_Veritas/status/**************?s=19
I was sent a message on May 29th alerting me of my suspension, with no explanation, only that they would be sending an email explaining why. I sent an email to their help desk explaining I was a long time member with thousands of posts, none of which I considered to be against their policy. They acknowledged my email and said I'd get a reply shortly. I have not heard back nor do I expect to. This is not the first time this has happened and I have learned my lesson. They have no regard for their members and their customer service is nonexistent. Never again!
I had a site with various subjects, including cars, humor, ads, toys, magazines etc. There was nothing posted that goes against their policy. I have been suspended without a reason and have not been sent the email they promised that would explain why. I have spent hours posting to the site. This is the third time I have had this happen. I will never use Pinterest again and I advise everyone to avoid the site.
I love interest but since the new version has come out my list in order to pin are in alphabetical order but my boards themselves are not. I can't remember all the board name if you are supposed to type them in to find them. It makes more sense to have them in order to start with.
I collect recipes and conscientiously wrote notes on the pins on hundreds of them which I had cooked and adjusted the ingredients. Then Pinterest hid my notes so I could not easily access them. Then they changed the format and gave us a TRIED button. I used this to easily see what I had cooked and adjusted. I had over 100 Tried notes. Now they are gone and all my hard work lost again. I had 4 Hidden Boards with my personal favourite recipes. They are now removed with no mention so that I had time to save the contents. Pinterest cannot be trusted. I look fwd to someone building a better platform. Pinterest sucks.
I have been using pin for a few years now and the last updates of this app has really made this app worthless! When you click on your activity you can't see who is following you or the people you are following. The letters are all jumbled and you can't read them the only thing I can make out Is what I have saved and what I have tried. It is completely frustrating! I have to delete the app and reload it then it comes up normally but as soon as I leave the sight and go to another app then back to pin it's all screwed up again! If I didn't use this for my recipes I would delete this app all together!
Pinterest is completely unfairly censoring Pro-Life & Christian content, for no reason. They labelled all content from LiveAction.org as "porn", which is complete rubbish.
Until they reverse this decision, I am only using Pinterest to promote Pro-Life content - at least until they block me!
Pinterest is nothing but a place where people nab stuff they like from the internet in order to repost it without second thought. It is VERY unfriendly to creators. If someone reposts your work without linking back to you, that's it. Nothing you can do about it. Good luck sending in DMCA forms, you're going to need many.
Answer: I warned everyone about what a piece of crap pinterest is and now their true colors are showing. #PinterestSucks
