Pigeonly has taken communication with an incarcerated loved one and gave us yet another way to keep in touch with our loved one is prisons. I love the photos and greeting cards. Your skipping the time to order then and then waiting Them to arrive then send out so it takes off about 3 fays of normal mail. I'm going to continue

I feel that pige only is a good way for people to communicate with their loved ones why they are incarcerated it is a very hurtful feeling when you have a family member that is locked up and it makes you feel very confident and safe when you can communicate through with them through page only I am very grateful for pige only.
I thought. 99? Wasn't bad I'd try it then they said I had to pay $25 more for a facility number after all that my son still couldn't call home and he never got his pics I have requested a refund we will see what happens

You have to be familiar with the prison or jail your LO's at. When my friend was in county, I could hardly send anything thru Pigeonly because of county jail's rules (pics needed inmate # on back & even greeting cards could be no bigger than 4x6). Since those 2 options weren't available, subscribing wasn't worth it for him but after transferring to prison, I looked into it again. With a discount code & holiday pricing, I got a great deal! You can basically send a letter, card, web article & photos every 4+ days. You have to wait for that particular item to be delivered before you can send the same again. Depending how many photos the prison allows each envelope & how often you end up sending these items, it's TOTALLY worth the subscription price. Especially if you get a 3 month deal AND a coupon code!

This services is so skep an has taken double payments every time even after removing way of payment is taken off. Records are not accurate on your profile page of payment history. No live person to speak to an emails are not answered. I have lost everything an single mother that tried to let my kids stay in contact with their father take from them for 25yrs. Proof of the double payments in photo. BBB needs to know how they have done im sure a lot of others as myself.
This service says it's to help families to communicate with there loved one well I put my trust in this and never again it charged me 15.99 then 25.00 then another 25.00 and I got to talk to my husband twice and couldn't use it anymore so two phone call cost me almost 70.00 that's not helping families communicate that's straight robbing people and you should be where my husband is and you should pay the prices I did then you may change your way of helping families

I've had multiple 40 dollar charges taken out of my account by them in the last two weeks equaling over 200 dollars I've contacted them several times with no resolution…. I've asked twice for my account to be canceled and they haven't you can't delete your card or inmate either as long as your active in a subscription, do not use them

Beginning July 21,2002, all USPS mail for Iowa's incarcerated persons had to be directed to Pigeonly in Las Vegas, NV, for digital scanning and then copies forwarded to the appropriate correctional facility. As of 8/8 my loved one has received only the letter I mail to Las Vegas on July 20. There are currently 13 letters from me, dating from July 21, that have yet to be delivered. Pigeonly's information says that the letters will be scanned within one day of receipt and then forwarded by Priority Mail (1-3 days). Mail should arrive in 10 days or less. We are currently on day 16.

Once, again, no contact. It has been 48 hours and no one has returned our calls even though we have been 'keep your place in line" twice on two different numbers. Two previous emails remain unanswered. There is never anyone on the "LIVE" chat. I have checked all hours of the day. I have spent $50 so far and have received absolutely no communication from the company despite repeated attempts to contact them. I am calling this a SCAM. It would be awesome if it worked. It doesn't. I am screwed. I still can't talk to my son. I will be posting my review on the internet.

I paid a $5 a month subscription for letters not 1 letter went out! I also paid $13 for them to save me money on phone calls I made a deposit of $26.06 I was charged. 70 a minute the jail charges. 50 a minute. Pigeonly is a SCAM!

I would LOVE to sing and dance about Pigeonly because it is such a fantastic idea, but please be very cautious when signing up. I have never had a company take as much money as they would like from your account and there be zero repercussions. They have taken hundreds from my account in small, bite-size payments of $7.99 and $14.99 each. I have contacted them multiple times, had a few refunds but the money keeps going. They took SEVEN payments out yesterday randomly worth over $60. My bank provider eventually refunds the money and reclaims it from them as I had the service blocked, but it just goes on and on and on... it is a wonderful idea and I so wish I would support it but it is a very very dodgy service! They have taken a total of $100 in the last 12 days alone.

Those are fees that are automatically charged to Pigeonly accounts depending on your subscription type.The good news is our refund policy is simple so if you were charged incorrectly the appropriate department will correct the issue and refund the charges right away.
The process to receive a refund can be as quick as 3 days but can take as long as 14 days, depending on your bank.

It was really easy to set up my account. It was a great way to confirm that I had the correct information for my friend that was incarcerated. I had confidence that my card would actually reach him. The tracking was help ful too. I can only imagine how lonely and frightening it would be to be in jail and getting mail from family and friends has got to be the best part of their day.

I have 3 boys all under the age of 4. So sending my husband pictures and letters is not as easy as it should be. But this app does all the hard work for me. Literally all I have to do is take the pictures. They send it off for me!

Once you place an order it is printed out within 24 hours and should reach the facility within 3-5 business days. Once it is at the facility it all depends on how fast the staff gets the mail to an inmate. The way to get your number to the inmate would be sending a letter or postcard from the website and include the number for the inmate to call on it. Please do not fall for this. It provide services that you do not need this website for. For example sending pictures and letters. You don't need them to do it. They took 34.99 and tried to take another but I locked my account. This was after I subscribed to a Free Subscription. I even went to double check if I was as fault but I was not. I been calling they never pick up, call back or respond

I haven't been using it long. I was unable to fund commissary account through them, because they don't support that particular prison, and referred me to a 3rd party.
I also tried sending a web article, but I have no idea whether the inmate would have to pay for computer time or not. Also, it wouldn't accept the web article. It didn't say why, but perhaps it was too many pages. It was a pdf book hosted online, so maybe they don't accept that format of web article.
I've tried the mail service. Your letter can't be more than 5 pages long, apparently. I expected it to get there faster, but it seems to be taking a while. Paying $5 per month plus whatever their subscription fees doesn't seem that great in comparison with a 55 cent stamp. If the letter takes 3 days to get there, you can only send 10 letters per month, and that would only cost $5.50 using stamps. So it might not be such a great deal, unless you have a coupon and cancel before you get billed.

I can go ahead and provide you with some information about articles. With Articles, Articles does not support PDF files, Each article can include up to 10 pages double sided ( 20pages), Size 8x11(envelope 6x9). Pigeonly has same day shipping-meaning it will be printed within 24hrs and sent to the mail office the same day, but delivery can take 3-5 business days to reach inmates, not including screening time. Once an order is placed it can not be edited, canceled or changed. Please allow some time until order status is “ delivered” before sending a new order. The company has changed there pricing to an all access subscription that includes photos, phone calls, post cards, greeting cards, articles and letters. I think that you shoudl be able to write as many letters as you want. The processing takes such a long time and seems for it to be online i could have just wrote multiple letters and mailed them out. Also you shouldn't make people get a pre payed card to talk to inmates. Let it bill there company because when you have to set up an account it drops the call and you have no way of getting in contact with that person again. I also feel that if we send letter via computer they should be able to respond the same way. And it should be immediately.

Answer: Hello: To all who have suffered multiple, unauthorized charges by Pigeonly. I have submitted all necessary info to classaction.org to initiate a class action suit. My request is being reviewed by lawyers who will let me know if Pigeonly's actions warrant a class suit. You can go to classaction.org to review the process. You may also want to check out the current suits and settlements to see if you qualify as an injured party entitled to a portion of the settlement. If the lawyers decide we have a valid case, they will draft the complaint and file with the appropriate court. The judge must approve the class action before it can go any further; the lawyers will reach out to injured parties, and/or post the suit/settlement on classaction.org, newspapers, etc. If you aren't contacted, please make the effort to join this class action once it's posted. It doesn't require an appearance in any court, nor much of your time. These people are lining their pockets at the expense of so many of us already forced to deal with unfortunate situations. Answer: You can send a postcard or letter to your loved one and include your assigned number. Or give them the number the next time they call. Also a lot of jails have implemented emails.
