Terrible customer service. Never answer the phones. Take your money and tell you the iPad will be repaired in 48hours (2 weeks out of warranty) 1 month later and still no iPad. No one returns messages or emails. Zero care is given. We will buy elsewhere. I can recommend Rebelo.

My experience with Phonebot has been a significant disappointment, and it's important to share my story as a cautionary tale for potential buyers. I recently purchased a phone from them, and my journey has been riddled with inconsistencies and unfulfilled promises.

The initial phone I received did not match their "Like New" description. It lacked the promised seal on the top, which is particularly concerning for a device marketed as water-resistant with an IP68 rating. This issue wasn't merely cosmetic; it raised doubts about the phone's functionality and durability.

To address this problem, I returned the phone for a full refund. However, despite assurances of a prompt refund, nothing has materialized. I've been waiting for almost two months since I purchased the phone, unable to use it, and still haven't received the refund I was promised.

This situation has prompted me to consider disputing the payment with my bank and reaching out to relevant government agencies, a time-consuming and frustrating process. I want to warn potential customers that they might find themselves in a similar predicament, facing delays and unfulfilled commitments when dealing with Phonebot.

My experience with Phonebot has been marred by inconsistencies and unfulfilled promises, and I strongly advise potential customers to exercise caution when considering purchases from this company. Stay away from this company; while they may use competitive pricing to attract customers, the reality is that their service falls far short of their advertised standards.

I ordered a refurbished google pixel 5 from phonebot. I didn't receive any confirmaiton and needed to call 3 times before i was sent confirmation. I ordered express shipping but the phone hadn't been sent a week later with no explanation. I called every day to ask for some tracking information but was given "oh its still be processed, just wait" answers each time.
I asked for a full refund as they hadn't even attempted to send me the phone at this point. They claimed to process the refund that day. A week later I still had not received any money back. I called and they promised to process it again and call me back. They called back to offer me the phone with a free charger. I declined this generous offer and requested a refund again.

Simply put it was impossible to get a straight answer out of them and had to call several times to make any progress.
Don't buy from them.

Please do your research. I had some issues with my phone and returned immediately - as soon as i could given I was held up a bit when Sash who promised to email me details on how to return it, left it too late for me to make the PO that night (it caused a lot of trouble that now has resolved BUT I did have to state my case a number of times and review accordingly till situation was resolved). All is good now. Be sure to absolutely connect as soon as you have an issue, IF you have one, ask for the name of the person you speak to and if you don't get immediate support go as far as you can as soon as you can. I went higher than just PBot but the issue resolved quickly when I reviewed my experience. Basically it was a very very hot battery and could have been dangerous. Some things slip by, they have to be more careful though and I hope through all this they may decide what really should be sold or not of the older styles of phones, I was told I'd bought an old old one and to expect that, but I also bought another old old phone from elsewhere, just brilliant, no issues, so do your research and immediately check what is sent out to ensure all is well. Phone itself for rated "good" looked excellent, hardly any scratches or marks (part of the port sticking out the bottom where the charge cord goes in though), but as I said, they missed how bad the battery was. All good now.

Please buy your products from actual retailers where you can return if you are unhappy with the product. Phonebot doesn't offer returns if the product is not good.

I have been getting used to using the refurbished phone I got to them because of my lack of experience with such pones and I have to say that he phone works just as well as a new phone. You may not even tell that it is refurbished. This to me was a great service because most fo the refurbished phones always tend to have problems after a few uses by the new owners.

I have always feared buying refurbished phones until I got a chance to get phones from them and now I know where to go incase I don't want to buy a new phone. They have a wide selection of phones and they are refurbished and not looking as old as other refurbished phones. I know that I made a good choice when I got one.

I was specifically looking for a refurbished phone as I am fed up with buying new only to feed the resource heavy consumption of the big corporations. Phonebot supplied a Grade A Samsung S9 which was near perfect (it was 2 hours before I noticed the small scratch on the corner). The phone was delivered interstate in under 3 days in spite of the COVID and Xmas double whammy and worked great straight out of the box.
