Very bad service, I have ordered a wrong item. I have placed a return request and they rejected and the customer executive was very rude. Better to buy from amazon and other online platform.

Ordered Herp Executive Chair for 11K odd. The Pros are:
1. Received the chair well before promised delivery date.
2. Chair "looks": exactly as given in the website.
It may be my fault or misleading advertisement, that I got a poor quality product.
1. There is absolutely no manual or instruction to assemble the chair. Not that it is too difficult to assemble, but still it shows absolute lack of professionalism. This is not a toy set and should have come with assembly instructions.
2. The picture showed as if it has a metallic base, but it is made up of very cheap plastic. I'm not sure how long will this work. If the base breaks (which is often the case with most executive chairs), the chair is completely useless. All the money I spent on now hinges on this good-for-nothing plastic base.
3. Whatever glittered as metal in the picture is all plastic. The cladding around the handle which I thought is a chrome plated metal is very cheap plastic. China made toys could have had better plastic. My 5 year old can remove the cladding just with his nail. Also, the base of the handle is of very cheap plastic. Even if plastic is used, it could have been of better quality. I assure you that this is the worse kind of plastic that could have been used on a 11K+ chair.
Overall, I'm thoroughly disappointed with the quality of the product. I will never ever visit pepperfry (or for that matter, any online furniture store, for I got the raw end of the deal) or will buy any product from them.

Product was not at all same as described on website. Weight was less than half of what was on website. Material and clamps are clumsy. Backside of the wardrobe is like thick paper which a 5 year boy can break with bare hands. Drawers fittings are clumsy too. P
The "Okinawa 4 Door Wardrobe in Coffee Finish by Mintwud"wardrobe was not as prescribed on website. The plywood weight was mention around 92 kg, which would have made a sturdy wardrobe. So I ordered. Whereas what I received, the weight was hardly 30 kg combined which makes it clumsy

I selected a product on their website. It was out of stock, But it was available on the manufacturer's website, and so I purchased it there. Had I not seen it on the Pepperfry website, I would not have known about it. So I have Pepperfry to thank for this. However, after purchasing it from the other website, I received no reply either via whatsapp or email as confirmation. And I have not received the product as well. The cell number on their website is invalid and spam. I chose to request Pepperfry to supply me with a Telephone number that they surely must have on their records, so that I could connect with the manufacturer directly. I was surprised to be told, Pepperfry had nothing to do with it and had no number to part with. Essentially it was my issue and I had to find my own way. So much for the reputation that Pepperfry has built over these years. I categorically mentioned that I was not asking them for a refund ONLY the number of the vendor that they were promoting on their website.
So be careful with online purchasing with Pepperfry, for products that they sell, but don't back. Now you may wonder, which products would those be? Your guess is as good as mine.
I would assume it's better to be circumspect about any product you want to buy here. There's no question of quality. It's a question of whether the products are 100% backed by Pepperfry. I bought a chair rs. 8011 in 23rd of may 2021 and it got damage in December2021. I have filed a complain and company sent a boy to visit and he told me that the party of the chair needs to be replaced. But manager sitting in Mumbai just denied to replace the part of chair by saying that this damage is developed by the usage while they have mentioned in this description of the product under Warranty and Installation section that it has 5 years of warranty including One-year manufacturing defect which includes service with FOC material input and rest five years warranty limited to the only service excluding material input.

I had purchased a gold-leatherette gaming chair from Pepperfry and the order when delivered was in very bad shape as the carton that it came in was in horrible condition on 6th April 2023. Raised a complaint through the app with the customer service team and there hasn't been any resolution to the case. Wrote to them as well via email and they say they haven't received the email(this had included the pics of the gaming chair). Eventually the Pepperfry customer service did say that they had received the email however the pictures were blurred as per the team(I had to re-upload the images again).
Customer service did not provide any timeline and had always advised a 24-48 hr turnaround for two weeks(what a joke) as every call I had made, this promise was made. I had later contacted the grievance team via email on 19th April and they too as usual promise a 3-4 days turnaround wherein a technician will visit and provide their concurrence. They never came as on the date I am writing this. Grievance team called again asking if the technician arrived - again seems funny that they aren't aware of their own systems and they in turn ask the customer if the needful has been done.
A very bad experience and as a customer I would suggest not picking up anything from the online website or store. You will definitely regret it.

Customer service representatives are rude, unhelpful and also lie so please RECORD ALL YOUR CLLS WITH THEM without fail or else they will tell you all lies. Also, their ticketing system is very opaque, you will get a ticket number in an email after you speak to them, but they will never mention the exact issue that you have faced in that Ticket. When you challenge them for it, they say it is an internal policy that such details are not to be shared with the customers. Now think, what kind of a person will not like to document the details of a customer issue? Let me answer, the kind of person who does not want to leave any proof of the customer's complaint and have deniability in case something goes massively wrong. The product finish is not good at all in addition to the damages. They very smartly use fillers to cover up cracks in the wood. The chair which I received had balancing issues. After many heated calls, they have finally agreed to process refunds. Will uninstall this application from my mobile the day i receive the refunds. Horrible experience.
