2 weeks Ive been waiting for a resolution to the issues Im having, I even paid for membership, each time I went to fill in text field lots of others appeared over the rest of the page. I have asked for a refund and all I get is that you are all very busy! I don't think so, something here stinks!
I definitely will not be recommending this anymore.
I have been waiting for resolution for over 2 months and feel ripped off as do others that the "upgrade" has been horrible.
My password doesn't work when trying to edit and I see I am not alone.
Did you lose your Development Team?.
Fix or bring back the old version or you will lose my business and there are many real estate agents who are sure to do the same.
The customer service number is a fraud. I have purchased PDFescape and I am having trouble editing test and changing a picture. Your support modules don't help me any. How do I get someone to talk me through the process. As a 76 year old, I can't navigate the information on the "how to's".

This used to be an amazing program --- and was a 100% web based utility. Then they decided to do an upgrade, and Jesus Christ, it's now the slowest, most cumbersome, junkie piece of garbage PDF editor in existence. Oh wait --- they have a Desktop version too! It's the same...junkie. Not cool. You guys probably are going to lose a ton of customers.
Sadly these guys killed their own product. I have always recommended these guys to everyone for countless years. Now they come up with this new update changing user interface and making things crazy slow and unusable. You can't move text anymore, to tidy up pdf document when filling in forms. Which is a critical component. You cant use desktop version to do this either because now they want to charge you for it. I sure hope these guys fix there product. It was a great product for them to screw it up this bad.
I was editing a document for school, a six page lab, as an unregistered member. I came back to the document five hours later and it deleted all my work. Mother $#*!er, mother $#*!er, mother $#*!er. I wish I could take out an expense for psychological distress. It's $#*!ing finals week.

Users' privacy is our number one priority. With the old version of the PDFescape, all files you upload as an unregistered member will be automatically deleted after 2 hours. We make no backup of the files. Since our service is automated, your files will not be manually monitored by anyone.

The desktop version crashes often and is full of bugs.
One of the bugs is that you have to activate the software a lot by logging in and often you can't even use the software because of internal errors in the activation login, effectively making the software useless.
Can't recommend it because of all the bugs.

I used to love this online editor for annotating sheet music pdfs (would have given it 4 or 5 stars previously). Then they decided to update the online interface, which is fine by me... *unless* you remove functionality.
I can no longer move text I add to a pdf, which was very easy to do in the previous version. I can rotate added text (but who really needs to do that very often?) and resize text, but not move it.
The new online interface is 'clunky' and slow compared to the prior version. I contacted support and merely got a confirmation that moving added text no longer works. There was no mention of plans to restore that functionality (which is in fact present in other online editors).
This went from a 'go to' software for me to 'not useable'.

Like other users, I LOVED PDFescape and recommended it to everyone. The new interface is confusing and it's slowed everything down. I'm waiting to append a file and found this, trying to look for a resolution. I've had to re-upload the files. PDFescape team, could you please return to the old interface or at least give us the option of choosing between old and new interface?
This used to be such a useful tool for people that can't afford the adobe and other upgrading required apps. Now, they updated their UI and it's asking me for a security password for any pdf i load. PDFs that are not secured even. And some that are copies. Need to highlight etc... i know what secure pdfs are and that's not what i was trying to load. It's so sad. Another platform gone/unusable.

This is web based PDF editing. An interesting idea. I would be cautious about uploading a file that contains sensitive information since you can't be sure they aren't retaining copies of the files.
Has the new interface actually been tested? It was a perfect tool to use until they decided to completely change the it. It is impossible to use. Really, impossible. I have been trying to fill out a document and you can't move the text... the page rotates if you misclick and every time I change the font, the next text I try to input goes back to the default stupid font and size. A clear lack of actual testing... what they probably did is only test whether the functions work, but probably did not try to use it on a daily basis to see if there were issues with the interface.
Dear PDFescape, if you do comment on this review, be sure to address in detail whether you have understood why people are complaining about the new interface, not just meaningless referrals to your development team or typical wooden and patronizing customer service language. Why would you change what was working, and why not leave an option to use the old interface? I am sometimes really perplexed by how companies actually do things that's neither good for customers, nor their own profits.
This WAS one of my favorite online utilities and my 'go-to' for cleaning up and editing PDFs. The new interface is horrible! Limited abilities and takes forever to process any addition, deletion, or edit. HUGE MISTAKE CHANGING THIS INTERFACE! Time to search for a new one.
It was a great, easy to use app - the upgrade has turned it into unusable junk - if it ain't broke don't fix it
