Amateur courier company

Updated review

They claimed on their website "At PBT we are focused on Working Together to be NZ's leading Express Freight Network." However, this statement contradicts my experience with them.
PBt took the most illogical routes to deliver a parcel. I am in Tauranga and need to get a package sent from Wellington. They picked up the parcel, drove to Auckland, and then back down to Gisborne. Finally, it arrived in Tauranga two weeks later. However, after another fortnight, it remains undelivered, but now the problem is that they cannot locate the parcel. Ultimately after a month of waiting and chasing up, the verdict is lost in transit. Trying to get compensation from them was like pulling teeth. It took another fortnight to sort out.
I had to wait for the replacement package. This time PBT damaged the contents inside during transit. After a stern telling-off, they promised to ensure to deliver the parcel within set out the time frame. This time the parcel went straight from Wellington to their Tauranga branch and was delivered safely the next day. It took them three tries and almost two months to get it right.
Not exactly how a leading express freight Network would operate.

"At PBT we are focused on Working Together to be NZ's leading Express Freight Network." This is the statement on their website. I believe they have a different definition of express after my experience with their courier service.

If PBT does not have GPS installed in the courier vans, give the latest NZ maps to the drivers. At least instruct the employees to drive the shortest route from one city depot to another.
