The racism in PBS and Masterpiece is starting to surface.. They have really good programs but no variety of race and nationality. And the few shows that dare to pepper-in races (such as blacks) as main characters (such as Sanditon and Mercy Street), don't get past the first season, don't even get to finish their story, or are portrayed as racial stereotypes. I'm starting to see a pattern and will be pulling my funding until I see different.

These networks/channels have so much potential. But the racism, classism, nationalism, and other ungodly and unjust "isms" control them, and it shows. I know they'll respond by saying, "What do you mean? We have all of these black/Latin/Asian docuseries...". But it's nothing but "Segregation Entertainment". They make sure to keep us separate & pacified. So predictable.

PBS, your slip is showing.

As I watched this documentary about COVID 19, PBS failed to tell the people the facts.They blamed Trump for not acting quiet quick enough. When in reality it was Nancy Pelosi in the Democratic party, who said,"Trump is a homophobic and a germophobic there's nothing to fear from coronavirus" Nancy Pelosi claimed, everybody it's safe to come to Chinatown and see for yourself! While President Trump saved millions of lives by shutting the country down! PBS failed to mention these facts, this shows me PBS is politically polarized and compromised.I love documentary's but not half TRUTHS.

On January 15 2024 PBS had 3 YouTube coverage sites that I went to after Trump was declared the winner. And ALL the comment sections we're closed. Saying TBS has turned off comments at this time... Your no better than the rest of the double standard news medias. Why so many of you are hell bent to destroy America? The only reason I can think of- You've sold your souls out to Satan and allowed him into your hearts. The Bible says: Every Good Thing Comes From Heaven And Every Evil And Corrupt Thing Is Of Satan.! And Jesus said: Satan's a Liar and the Father of all Lies and Liars...62yrs I've watched this great country slowly go down till now. And proven facts that every War The United States has been in since 1940s. Was manipulated to convince Americans each war was necessary. Because people don't want wars! But it seems the rich and stupid loves wars and killing and murders. Only evil people desires wars and lie to the citizens! Jesus also said: It's easier for a Camel to go through the eye of a needle, than a rich man to enter the kingdom of Heaven. As a messenger of God your souls you've placed in Satan's possession will be a testimony on judgment day against you. Along with ALL the innocent people who die because of your evilness, their Blood will testify of your guilt dripping from your fingers. May God have mercy on your souls!

PBS is a trusted name among parents, for decades it has entertained children with informative and entertaining programming. PBS website is an awesome resource for children to learn while having fun. PBS Parents is a resource for parents to help their children browse the web safely, to help them learn and grow. It has a expert Q&A section for parents where they can seek advice. It also publishes videos, offers special discounts to parents on selected PBS sponsors, the website also publishes a newsletter.

PBS offers unique documentaries and detailed reports of current affairs. I love NOVA, Nature and occasionally Frontline. However, what I can't comprehend is that lately my local PBS station airs reruns of boring British sitcoms that even the Brits don't watch. Why not Mr Bean or Baldy Man or the good ol' Benny Hill Show? No, PBS reruns garbage like "The Last of the Summer Wine" and similar. I would have given 5 starts but those outdated, boring, never been fun sitcoms just made me take one star off.

PBS, particularly PBS Newshour with Judy Woodruff, has been reserved 2 stars because of their favoritism of one side of the report for the Democratic side although PBS also presents the negative side of the Republican party. PBS is not the voice for Americans. PBS is actually and merely the voice of the Democrat party. I and many listeners are very disappointed about the comments of David Brooks and Capehart. Although they are considered as high profile commentators, Brooks and Capehart are not presenting the facts, the most objective and fairness as they can. They got their pay to take the side of one party, Democrat, to attack other Americans on the other side. How shameful and disgraceful PBS Newshour with Judy Woodruff, Brooks and Capehart can be.

Watch some of your news and they are totally biased. You only show the side that favors your agenda and leave out the rest. You yourselves are a propagation machine.

They receive tax money and they use it to indoctrinate our children, I deleted our PBS kids games from devices and cancelling Amazon prime, which shows PBS kids shows.

Appalling bias against Israel at PBS

The PBS coverage of the conflict in Gaza is clearly biased against Israel with an intentional attempt by the presenters to paint a damning picture of the Israeli operations. When reporting of an Israeli military strike they intentionally cast doubt and very oddly phrase it as the 'Israeli version is' that it was a site from which rockets were previously fired on Israel. Don't they have PBS reporters on the ground to verify claims, and shouldn't they seek conformation from US military sources who are watching the skies and every move in the area?

Last week reporting was the most sickening to date when PBS chose to interview at length an obscure extremist pro-Palestinian student seeking dubious fame with bizarre and totally unsubstantiated claims of having 'sources' with information on how sites are being targeted to maximize civilian casualties. Its akin to interviewing the unabomber about the state of US affairs. Can anyone, but PBS, believe that 'sources' with such information would opt to divulged it to a nobody student? Don't they have better more credible sources who are truly in the know? Did they bother to verify the 'assertions' that were made?

I would suggest that PBS look into their coverage and start to present a balanced view. For years and on a daily basis there were rockets fired from Gaza onto Israeli homes. Children were killed and others seriously traumatized by continuous sirens and explosives. Where is the reporting of that? Where is the reporting of the shocking atrocities that took place on October 7, the kind a decent human being cannot fathom? Why aren't Palestinians being interviewed as to the whereabouts of kidnapped babies, women, men and elderly Israelis? Where is the report of how civilian Palestinians are being used and manipulated by their own government or why don't they simply put down their arms and return those kidnapped?
