Between Bud light controversy and Miller lite woke commercial. Reminder of Nascar's Bubba Wallace issue with a piece of rope used to pull a roll-up door on a truck. I can't believe the Petty's even considered going along with such lying BS. Along with the lying Chicago black man that accused 3 white men of jumping on him. Which turned out to be a lie. Destroying the 3 accused lives over a lie! But the lying news media never mentioned it was a hoax...
In the 1970s thru the 90s I and many others traveled from North Carolina to Daytona, Rockingham, Bristol, North Wilks, Martinsville etc... Spent every May and October at Charlotte. Then Dale senior died as we all know in race at Daytona. That's when Nascar begin to change and neglected to remember who had brought them to the dance. Closing race tracks changing and reaching out to different type of fan base. Taking down Confederate flags or anything associated with the souths history. Changing the format of racing forever and forgetting those of us who supported racing since the very first race. I and many of others haven't watched a race in years. At one time I could tell you every name of all the drivers. And most of the truck racing drivers, not no more. I've never understood why people with money think their ways and change is the right way. And along with changing means forgetting many things and people by doing so. Between idiots taking a knee in the NFL Nascar's rope issue and format change. The best of the good life got destroyed over ignorance and overpaid players. And rich idiots taking over racing! The late Merrell Haggard put it best: Like a snowball headed for hell... But in the case of NFL and Nascar- they walked off and left their oldest dance partner standing on the floor. Thanks for nothing!
