I have never purchased anything from this company, yet I have somehow ended-up on their mailing lists. Unfortunately, and this should concern anyone dealing with this company, they are sending SPAM through fake email addresses with fake subject lines, pretending to be McAfee antivirus warning you about an expired product. What kind of scam operation does this?
I bought 4 long sleeved white dress shirts. After only ~10 wearing each they started to fray at both the collar and the cuffs. When I complained, I was told that they only last 2 years, whether you wear them or not. Never again for me….
Got a magazine in the mail it' says spend over 350. Which I did was supposed to receive $100 off called in three separate times to make this happen and get a different story each time just returning everything spent too much time calling these people I'm on hold now as I write this review
Like others in this site I bought shirts recently. The shirt length has been reduced by them by 2 to 3 inches compared to shirts from 5 years ago.it guarantees that once you sit or stand the shirt tails will pop out assuring a sloppy unprofessional look. Shirts I bought from Penney's were 20 dollars less and fit well. I will not be buying from Paul Frederick again
Stay far, far away.
Absolutely horrific customer service. I purchased an expensive pair of pants that were either mis-sewn or mis-sized and did not fit. I tried to exchange them for a pair of pants that WOULD fit, and my return was refused because I had paid extra to have the pants cuffed. The Paul Frederick customer service rep insisted that I had been informed at the time of ordering that cuffed pants were non-returnable, and would do nothing to help make the situation right.
Worst customer experience I have ever had—$146 down the drain for a pair of pants that was mis-constructed.
I bought a sweater from PF, and soon the zipper broke. Their website says "If it doesn't work, we want to fix it. Simply return it for a free exchange or prompt refund." Wrong! When I contacted PF and asked to return it they refused to send me a replacement. They just sent me a $25 gift card. I really don't want to throw good money after bad, especially since their product are wildly over-priced.
These guys used to be reliable and great, now the customer service is terrible, the girl on the phone just said to me " what's your problem " the orders are wrong, the prices are high. No follow up, no customer service, nothing. They are checked out. Wasted enough of my time…. Paul Fredrick, you win! I'll go elsewhere
I am a very discerning customer when it comes to clothing! So far, I only purchased shirts from PF. I find the fit, section and quality of their shirts to be top rate for the prices paid including discounts. I respect other's opinions but, I struggle to understand the amount of negativeity and pessimism the reviews. I admit not having to return any items yet.
Ordered few shirts in few separate orders. 1 order was charged 2 times and has been pending for 2 weeks. Spoke to the manager who will not take off 1 of the 2 pending changes because the order was on back order and when received in the warehouse a week later -the 2nd charge was made. DUH? So let's remove the duplicate. The answer was NO. Customer service and their management are utterly brainless and worthless.
I'm rather surprised to see the negative reviews of Paul Fredrick. I have purchase probably a dozen dress shirts, casual shirts, and slacks from them and all have been very well made with no issues whatsoever. I'm constantly complimented by my students and colleagues as to how nice I look since I've been wearing their clothes, so I'm flatter AND pleased.
I've never had to return anything nor have I had the need for any interactions with Paul Fredrick, so I can't speak to those comments. However, I'm 100% satisfied with the quality, feel, fit, and appearance of their clothing. Their customer accounts part of the website is down, otherwise I would have made mention of my orders.
I'm a big guy, 5'10" 265lbs with an odd pear shape and am not easy to fit, so this is saying a lot about their great clothes. Paul Fredrick is exclusively mail order, as far as I know, which can be a bit risky for a guy my size, but I've lucked out on every order.
I ordered a shirt for my husband from Paul Fredrick. They sent me an email thanking me for choosing Paul Fredrick. Then no shirt ever appeared. Oh, and they did manage to charge me for the no show. I never received any indication that the product had shipped so I'm thinking they just took my money and went to lunch on my $$
I purchased two white dress shirts from Paul Fredrick. I have worn the shirts once and they look terrible after washing and ironing. The shirts are wrinkled and looked terrible. Others noticed the same thing. I contacted Customer Care and was advised they would not do anything about the shirts. I have purchased many white shirts from J. Banks and Mens Wear House and they are better quality with better customer care. The shirts are also priced a little better.
I bought a pair of "Cotton Stretch Twill 5 Pocket pants" from Paul Fredrick, and what I received were pants that had no stretch whatsoever. I contacted their customer service by email (talked to Evvy) and by phone (spoke to Michelle) and they refused to setup a free return under their "Perfect Fit Guarantee"
Basically, they sell average clothes that are overpriced, and refuse to honor their "Guarantee" when the garment doesn't match its described quality and characteristics. There are many other better places to shop that include free returns and true customer service. I would recommend going elsewhere based on my recent experience with Paul Fredrick.
Their products are incredibly overpriced when compared to their absolute poor quality. Worst shirts I have ever ordered. You can shop at Walmart for clothes and receive a much better product. Shameful!
Great quality men's clothing at decent prices. Their suits and shirts are high quality and well worth the price paid. Shipping rates are a little high but there is always a free shipping or % off coupon to be found in a minute of web search, if it is not actually advertised on the site itself.
Superb customer service! Just recently I placed an order and one item was out of stock (a rare occasion so no worries there). Since their shipping rates vary by order total, I realized that my rate should have gone down. I emailed them and in less than an hour got confirmation that the charge was reduced.
I read someone had written if you leave a bad review on their website they take it down. He is right they took mine down. They basically took two hundred dollars from me for some pants that didn't come close to fitting. My wife could have got in there with me. I sent them back and they said they don't take returns once they are hemmed but this was no place to be seen on their website. The gal said sorry about that and said my pants got thrown out and there will be no refund. So I told my kids to buy elsewhere after they talked me into trying this site. They do not care about customer service AT ALL. They need a class action lawsuit for deceptive advertising.
My husband checked out this site to buy a couple new suits for work. The items did not take long to arrive. He was really happy with the quality and fit. They were decently priced. We would definitely use this site again in the future.
I have been a customer of PaulFredrick for over twenty years. Fortunately I still wear their shirts receiving many compliments. Those compliments were made on shirts purchased ten years ago. That is no longer the case with recent purchases. The quality has diminished.
My wife bought Paul Fredrick socks and a few shirts for me for Christmas and then again for my birthday in March. The socks shrunk to less than half the original size after 1 or 2 washings. You can see in the photos that they all shrink. In the photos there are one pair in the wrapper, one pair never worn and one pair that was worn and washed max 1-2 times. These are all the same socks just different patterns. My wife wears a size women's 6 and she can't get the socks on. I sent nine pairs back and they gave me a credit for $63.43. A 3-pack was $49.95 and we bought three 3-packs for a total of $149.85. I like the look and they felt great when I first wore them but after washing I couldn't wear them at all.
Also be extremely careful with their shirts, the shirts we bought were 17.5 neck x 36 sleeve. Now they are 16 x 34 sleeve. This is the biggest rip-off on the internet. They told me my washer and dryer was shrinking the clothes. I have socks and shirts that have been worn a hundred times and have never shrunk.
The quality of this manufacturer's product is sub par. I ordered shirts and a pair of pants. They are marketed as $149.00 pants on sale for $60.00. In fact these are very low grade products that are not worth $40.00.
Do not waste your time or money on Paul Fredrick's stuff.
Answer: Low grade product, over priced then an amazing 60% off. In the end they are not worth the 60% off price. Also, they do not accept returns on pants because they make to length.
PaulFredrick has a rating of 1.9 stars from 46 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with PaulFredrick most frequently mention customer service and dress shirts. PaulFredrick ranks 2415th among Clothing sites.
Thank you for bringing the quality issue to our attention. We apologize they were not up to our normal standard. As for the refund, that was for a separate item (a shirt) which you returned. The socks are still in transit back to us. Once received, you will be refunded in full for those items.
