I LOVE Pandora! Amazing that it is still free and almost commercial free! I find my favorite artists and discover new music through Pandora! So user friendly from phone ap or on my smart TV thank you Pandora!
It's not that they give ads after a few songs. It's that they are political or similar. I don't listen to music to catch up on current events or get political influence. Fast food or air freshener commercials are fine but they shouldn't put anything political. Definitely whoever is in charge never worked in sales.
This is great because you type in artist or song and it makes a station and plays songs that are either by the artist or same as the artist. I love it I take my phone and speaker and go fishing with all my favorite bands
Absolutely astounding service! Truly amazing and very efficient. They were very polite and nice. Once I walked in I was greeted the most polite way. I was not only given the best advice on what to purchase but was also just amazed with the amazing attitude!
I absolutely LOVE Pandora. I use it every I'm in my car. Even when I don't know the song I always end up liking it. The only thing I dislike about Pandora are all the ads but hey, what are you gonna do? It's worth it!
I amazingly love my classic rock station at Pandora radio. Use them more then 5 years and listem my radio everywhere! It would be great listen my favorite music in my business trips in Europe or Canada.
I've used Pandora forever; their music recognition and ability to automatically identify my taste in rythmns, their artificial intelligence programming, all if it is beyond. The selection of international music is staggeringly impressive, and I love it!
I enjoy Pandora because I have more control over what I'm listening to, greater variety, and the commercials aren't quite at the obnoxious levels of over-the-air radio.
Obviously I'm speaking of the free version.
And one way or another, you will PAY for this service. Free means you hear commercials at intervals.
They don't respond to your ups or downs like they used to... more commercials than they used to have... what I listened to before was a much better song line up in any category we have... something changed
Pandora used to be good but then they went to their new format and every half hour you have to click to confirm you are still listening (I think it used to be every hour? Or hour and a half?), and since we listen from an office, having to stop what you are doing when the music stops and go click that page to start it again, became too much of a hassle. Especially since it is at one computer and if someone else is listening, they have to get up and go to that computer (the only with sound in this office) and click. Every, half. Hour. Got to be too much and we found something else that has more variety and we dont have to click every half hour!
I have used Pandora streaming radio for many years. The biggest criticism of the service is the tendency of the algorithm to go off on tangents and start playing music that is really nothing like the station I have created and the need to constantly give thumbs up or down to try to keep the service on track. Often not playing enough of the artist I create the station around. I hope they can get their programmers to improve their service.
I love that no matter what band/musician I type in to search for, it is always there, and there are always similar bands/artists for me to listen to. I have found quite a few new favorite bands from their stations. I like that I can create my own stations, too, specifically for when I am excercising, doing crafts, etc.
This site is good if you want to hear free music however, the comercials suck and i don't like how you could set a station to listen to a certain band or group and they only play one or two songs from them then they play everything but them.
The biggest nuisance is being that it is used a radio at times it will stop and ask are you still listening. And if your one of those people that clean while listening or doing other stuff it becomes a nuisance to click to confirm your listening.
Hate the new web page... many seem to feel the same. I said when the classic page went away, so would I. I deleted my account the moment i could not switch to the classic format. So now because you failed to listen, I'm all done listening to ads. I wonder how many other people are deleting accounts, and if that is why your stock is dropping. I hope so. So many better options out there now. Google Music, Spotify, Amazon, The Radio... You couldn't leave well enough alone, and despite the complaints about your new web interface, you pushed it out without addressing the concerns.
If you feel the same you have to delete your account, not just stay away, if you keep your account, they will still use it to market membership numbers to advertisers. Fewer accounts means fewer ad dollars, and maybe someday they will listen.
For a while I used this pandora.com website for searching some song that I love to here. But this website never gives me songs as per my search and always the search result may be very different songs from my search. So I use other best websites for searching songs that I need.
Great website, they continue to add more and more ads though making it less and less of a great site. If you do not pay for a subscription you are now forced to listen to long commercials every few songs.
With their music genome project, we put in artists and get all kinds of similar songs from similar artists. It's like radio just for me. Plus I hear a bunch of new songs from new artists. I pay for the no-commercial service at just $3.99 a month. It's worth it.
I love Pandora. I've never had to skip a song cause it was bad. I don't pay for it but there are so few commercials that u really don't care. There are other music sites around, I still think Pandoras the best. Have it in every room in my house with all the smart TVd.
I've been a Pandora One subscriber for awhile now to remove ads and get more skips. I really enjoy the variety of musical genres. The only things I don't care for is that some of my stations repeat the music they play WAY too much (just like the radio). Of course it's never the songs I actually wouldn't mind hearing again and again, lol. And then there's the random Metallica song that pops up on my classical station (you get the point). The one thing I really wish they could consider and change would be, if you're paying for Pandora One, give UNLIMITED skips! This will make fine tuning your stations so much easier, especially when you get crap songs a dozen times in a row and have to wait to skip again once you've reached the limit.
Answer: Good luck reaching a person. No success for me. Cancelled my subscription after 10 previous years of great service. Too bad Sirius bought pandora out. Ruined the service and format
Answer: I don't know how or who determines what is on Pink Floyd radio. Not the same genre at all. Same for other artists.
Pandora's reputation is mixed, with customers appreciating its diverse music selection and personalized stations, often noting the app's ease of use. However, significant complaints revolve around reliability issues, such as frequent interruptions and repetitive song choices, which detract from the listening experience. Customer service also faces criticism, particularly regarding difficulties in account management and unresponsive support channels. While some customers express satisfaction with the jewelry products and in-store experiences, concerns about product quality and return policies indicate a need for improvement. Overall, Pandora must address these service and reliability issues to enhance customer satisfaction.
