Ordered three weeks ago and have yet to receive even a shipping update. In addition, the free shipping offer did apply since I used a discount code. Tried to contact Customer Service multiple times and received a form letter response. Doubtful if I will receive in time for Christmas.
This is not a review of the products but the company and its processes. I ordered a 4 pack of socks on 10/6. The item didn't ship until 10/27 and only after I repeated contacted them to find out why there was a delay and when I should expect to receive my order. Once received my 4 pack of socks was only 3. Even if these are the best socks in the world I would not suggest giving them your money. Read some reviews on the BBB site after all this and I am not the only person who had similar issues with fulfillment. Stay away, stay far away.
Delivery was not as expected. Paid $8 extra for expedited shipping and the package wound up in USPS snail mail. We're not delivered on time for a trip we were taking.
No care instructions in you ads. Should have said up front you can't machine wash and you can't put them in the dryer.
I returned the entire order 1) because it was delivered WAY after Christmas and 2)it was delivered incomplete. Although 7 pairs of socks were shipped I only received 5 pairs. I have never had such a POOR experience with customer service. Starting with being overcharged for taxes, and not shipping until I inquire about the order to receiving a partial order late. I will never order from Pacas again.
I really enjoy splurging once in a while to get something from this company. However, immediately after placing my VERY expensive order, only then do I get an offer on a percentage off! It irritates me.
It's a little frustrating that the colors/styles of socks I want are only available in certain sizes or packages. Aside from this, I'm satisfied with the experience.
I am very disappointed at the selection available. I suppose this means you are doing well, but I am never able to buy what I would like to buy in color and style. Maybe you can let people know when you will be getting more stock. Also, the socks I received were not even the same color as the socks I had ordered before. They were a darker gray. Things like this are frustrating.
I received my first 2 pairs of ladies crew socks (regular weight) and I absolutely love them. They keep my feet warm and dry. I don't slip on solid surface flooring. Order came in a reasonable time frame and I am purchasing 3 more pairs, purple this time.
Edited to add: I ordered the purple pacas on an early Monday morning before getting my day started, hours later a significantly better promotion offer was made. I reached out to Customer Service and requested the better promotion. I was told they will not do that.
Didn't leave me with the soft warm fuzzies... so if you order, wait till they offer 30% off and then don't pay attention to further promotions.

My credit card was just charged again yesterday, though I've made no order, in fact my last order from 2 months ago wasn't even completed. So this means that Pacas is retaining credit card information and making erroneous charges/just plain stealing. This place has to get shut down!

I made an order 2 weeks ago and never got a confirmation email. My card was immediately charged, but still, nothing. I emailed customer support, but only got an auto reply. I'll give it another week and then open a ticket with my credit card company. Really too bad because I was excited to try alpaca socks.
I used to love Pacas products. However, after waiting 3 weeks for shipping updates after an order I placed in November 2022, I am beyond disappointed. There is absolutely no way to get a response from anyone at Pacas for updates or refunds for items never shipped. I have written them 6 times via their customer support link on their site. No customer support phone line is listed anywhere on their website. I've written a complaint to the Better Business Bureau, where I also found a phone number for Pacas. Not surprisingly, that line is always answered by a recording and there is no way to reach a real person. I see on BBB that I am not alone. There are now over 100 similar complaints made against Pacas. This company is basically stealing money from customers and disappearing with it. Steer clear of them.
I found your website very difficult to navigate. It asked for several pieces of information in exchange for various discounts. But when I placed my order it said the discounts were invalid. I had to contact customer support for help. Very frustrating! I almost gave up and cancelled the whole thing. Pam Arps
I luv your regular sox. I'm trying compression sox for first time. I would have given a 5 star rating if I had choices more to my liking for large size compression sox. (NOT a fan of pink, purple nor lavender!) Why not a simple white, black, beige and gray
Don't buy from this company it's a scam! I placed an order over a month ago - they took payment in full and never sent it. I emailed multiple times and I get back canned emails saying I will receive a tracking number "in a couple of days". No one gets back to you. There is no where on their website to write a review or course, but if you go to the BBB site there are tons of the same complaint! They are thieves!
I ordered 18 pairs of socks in mid October 2022. I received the shipment about 6 weeks later to find 6 of the pairs were missing from my order. I immediately contacted customer service via email, which is the only option I could find. By the end of December they sent a notice that the replacement socks were shipped. I received the replacement package a week ago. To my shock and disappointment I opened the package to find only 3 of the 6 missing pairs were sent! I have been trying to contact Pacas all week and have only received an automated response. The socks are good but only if you actually receive them. I cannot recommend doing any business with Pacas. It appears that they love taking your money but don't care if you actually receive what you pay for.
Not clear what is wrong at this company, but they don't respond to customer service emails and have no phone number to call. My order placed in November has not been delivered yet, but they charged my credit card. Disputing the charge with my credit card now.
Easy to navigate website. I made an error with the shipping address and it was immediately corrected and i received my products with no problem whatsoever! I wore a pair yesterday and as a caregiver, i'm on my feet all day. They were comfortable, cushiony and i love them!
The order took 3 weeks to arrive, but I was really excited to feel the difference. The $150 blanket is not soft and not worth more than $25-$30. The socks seem to be ok, but they are not very soft compared to Walmart or Target socks. Highly do not recommend.
I wear open toe Wolky shoes all year long here in Arizona. I don't like having the socks' brand name appearing at end of each foot so I'll gift them to my daughter in Boston who will love them for winter wear there. Why not put your brand on sole of sock or reverse of the toe?
You were out of the extra large men's plain black/grey socks. The large does fit for size 10 men's shoes.
Socks are SOFT! The elastic is a bit tight. I will cuff them for longer wear. They left marks after four hours wear.

The advertised sets and colors have never been available. It seems they don't exist. Although I like the ones I find, the draw for me originally was the advertised colors and patterns. Just wish you had what you actually advertised. Otherwise I have loved these socks and have made several other purchases! Nothing wrong with this product. You won't be disappointed.

Answer: While I caution using the word "scam", here's a few fun facts about PACAS: -Per label on the socks I receive, ONLY 42% ALPACA! Pacas advertises socks as 100% alpaca fleece, company email and social Media comments states 50% alpaca, website conveniently does not list fabric contents. -Pacas has claimed on IG/FB their products are manufactured in USA with alpaca fiber from Peru but no additional information is available to verify. Their packaging and website conveniently contain no manufacturing/origin information about their products. -Additionally, they have multiple conflicting statements and ads about their donations to children's hospitals and no pictures, posts, or press releases are available to support any donation claims from the company. -Since March 2022, they have accumulated 3k+ reviews just on sitejabber. Most of those reviews appear to be "verified site experience" in exchange for a coupon code and many are clearly FAKE. It appears the company is attempting to cover up real reviews from customers that never received their orders. They have also deleted hundreds of comments on social media from unhappy customers with incorrect, defective or missing orders. *See FTC site for regulations and guidelines for wool/textile labeling, "made in USA" labeling, shipping fulfillment and reviews/endorsements, as well as an online form for consumers to report fraudulent behavior and concerning business practices.
Answer: Totally unresponsive to my emails. Thankfully used PayPal so was able to open a complaint. Was a total waste of time and created unnecessary stress during an already stressful time.
Answer: My guess is that many of the reviews are not made by real customers.
