I thought I was ordering a birth certificate until I got to the end (already paid $40) and it told me to go to the health dept to pick up my application!?!? What health department? The one where I live? The county it's coming from? Or the health department where the certificate is going to? Aside from that tho, that should've been mentioned at the BEGINNING of the application! Total BS!
This company is a total fraud. They will take your personal information and sell it. They will give you nothing for your payment. Some people received BLANK applications, some received nothing. They are located in Spain. There is no way to directly contact them. They make believe they care asking for your review. But it goes into outer space. They are THIEVES!
This site charges $47. You don't get a certificate. You get the same form you find for free on the state website and instructions to mail it along with a check for whatever the state fee is. I disputed the charges with my credit card company. This hack now has my son's information and my credit card number! Probably an ID theft scam too!
Trust the reviews below, folks! This group of frauds is just collecting money. I got nothing but a runaround with emails and case numbers, and NEVER any results after paying $29.00. I contacted my bank, and the charges were reversed, thankfully, but... I'm totally kicking myself for not doing the research on them first. My bank informed me that this company isn't even operating in the U.S.! They're out of the U. K.! Pissed off, but thankful to have had the charges reversed. OnlineVital can go pound sand... hope they get shut down.
To register my kiddo at school, I was asked for a copy of his birth certificate. For that reason, I trusted this company. It seems that some people had problems but that's not my case. They handled my petition correctly and thanks to its user-friendly application form I could get the birth certificate in record time avoiding long lines.
Go directly to the office of vital records state website for your birth certificate, do not use these companies, it is not necessary.
My husband's "application" cost $47 before the state fee was applied, which was $20.00, so we are out $67.00
I got mine directly from the state for $30.00.
I was disgusted to find that after entering the data and paying the 40 dollars. I got a form that I have to mail along with another 23 dollars to the state, that form was available from the states vital records office for free then pay their processing fee only.
$47 to fill out a form and send it to me for me to mail in Thieves Beware. I was trying to get a copy of my birth certificate from NYC, every link was directed to their website.
They charge you $47.00 to give you the application you still need to need to send in the state fees, which you can get for free from the state's web site. I completed the free online request via the state vital statistics web site. Don't fall for this scam!
I recently used this site. I even read positive reviews, I paid the $47 and did the required notary paperwork and I waited a very long time almost a month just to get it returned stating they DID NOT receive any payment. BEYOND PISSED 0 STARS!
Took my daughters money! Then I got online and didn't know I did the exact same one! They got me for $59.00 but they got her for $99.00! No certificate NOTHING! Do NOT use! Why is this site still on here! Who is in charge of shutting this down!? It needs to stop!
Thought I was going to get my mother-in-law's Birth Certificate - site doesn't let you know they aren't the one and then you have to pay another $40+ to get what you need - will definitely not use again. "Let the buyer beware". Only gave it 1 star because it would not allow me to not rate.
As witnessed from the other reviews below, my wife was looking for a Florida form. She clicked, paid her $40.00 and they sent her a pre-filled out form. Could have done it for FREE. This company/website is for unwary consumers. They do FOR you what YOU could do for half or less. And you STILL have to get it notarized and mail it. And there are STILL MORE FEES if the state you are requesting from certifies the document. Total rip off. Do your homework folks. If the web address isn't. Gov, run away fast.
This site is a scam. You'll never get your birth very or your money back. I was an idiot to trust this site. Don't you be.

I needed help and they just STOLE $47.00! All they do is send you the already FREE forms so you can additionally pay for a notary and pay the issuing fee. They do nothing! There is no service - do not fall for this!
Totall ripoff! Paid for a service all they do is fill in the blanks of a form you still have to pay for certificates downtown.
I used this site thinking I had Florida Dept. of Vital Statistics and they sent me, for $47.00, a form for Florida Vital Statistics. Which I mailed off with a check for $17.00. I didn't realize what had happened until Florida called me and told me. I can't find a number anywhere to call these people. Another number I called, thinking I was calling this one, said you have to dispute with your bank. Someone needs to get this site down.
Horrid rip off. They charge you $45 for what you believe is for them to send you your birth certificate. They never do, after you search and search for contact info and finally get a hold of them, they send an e-file form to send to your origin of birth county that will require and additional fee. My was an additional $35. However, my county only asked $2 for the first copy if you're a senior.an e-file for absolutely nothing and no service.
