Called Customer service Monday morning (4/26/21) to get a few questions answered, no wait, and now that I have the product I can see they gave me good info. Purchased 12 feet of heavy vinyl, ordered 10am Monday, received shipped notice on Thursday and received on Friday before noon (standard shipping, I am on the East Coast so shipping distance not too far). The item is exactly what I expected! Not sure why some have had a bad experience, so sorry to read that, but I am completely satisfied and will remember this store for future needs.
Ordered fabric and 8 weeks later still no fabric. Just an email every 2 weeks that the fabric is out of stock. If you have a deadline on a project don't shop here. The online store doesn't have live stock updates. So it's very likely you'll buy something out of stock. Thanks to them I lost a contract and when called to tell them what happened and that I'd like to cancel the order they didn't even apologize or try to fix it somehow.

Contact them to know when item will ship, turns out the fabric I bought was backordered and unavailable in 2 weeks when they say they'll get it... but it doesn't show this on their website. If you need items immediately or quickly, look for a different place.
Ordered 27 yards of curtain fabric Nov. 6 and paid extra to get it 2 days earlier than free shipping option. It was supposed to arrive in 3-5 business days, but it is now Nov. 15 and it still hasn't arrived. I have called 5 times and emailed at least that many. No replies to emails, except to say my "request has already been handled over phone and is being closed out." Each phone call, I heard a different story about the fabric and why it hadn't shipped. They charged my credit card Yesterday and said it shipped UPS 2 day today. I was just sent a tracking number and it shows that fabric shipped and is scheduled to arrive Tuesday. It was extremely difficult to get reliable information from this (Massachusetts based) company, but hopefully the fabric will be worth the delays. Prices and selection are decent, especially if you're buying a lot of fabric. If you have plenty of time to wait for fabric, you might take a chance on them, but, if not, read the reviews and Consider going somewhere else. I wish I had read them before this purchase!
On Sunday, September 20th we ordered 15 yards of 10 oz canvas for a show on the 18th of October. Today, November 5th, we received the order. You folks made a mistake; okay everyone screws up. However, when you error, apologize and correct it. Work with the customer. You don't get nasty with customers when the error belongs to you. Take responsibility. I will give you 2 extra stars to encourage you to do this. If your attitude was better, in spite of your error, I would have given you all 5 stars. Hopefully you'll learn something.
I placed an order with them online in March. They refused to answer my many emails and I spent many lunch hours on hold to get no answer. They just sent this:

Be warned that your fabric could arrive anywhere from 7 days to 3 weeks. They do not send a notification if an item in your order is on backorder and they will hold your order until all items are back in stock and that could take 2+ weeks. Once you come to the realization that you haven't received your order or any confirmation so much time will have passed.
So if you need your fabric for a deadline DO NOT ORDER from onlinefabricstore.net.
I've had 2 instances where they did not notify me of a backorder item and this last time just made them lose my business for good.
I placed a large order on a Thursday for overnight delivery (expecting it to arrive at least by Saturday). Did not even receive a confirmation email.
I kept checking my email and my account for tracking info- nothing. I called on Friday afternoon to check tracking. They then told me an item was on backorder and my order would be sent out once all items were in stock- unacceptable. I paid for rush and wasn't notified that my order would not be expedited. After complaining to them they agree to fulfill the order immediately and ship that moment. They were able to substitute a more expensive fabric for the backorder item without charge.
I receive a phone call 10 minutes later from a confused employee about the swap. We resolved everything and she promised my order would be shipped that evening. It's now Saturday and I still haven't received ANY notifications let alone tracking and no information is available on my account. So I just have to wait and see if the fabric will arrive on time. If it does not I will certainly be demanding a refund for the extra shipping I paid for.
I placed an order for some fabric about three weeks ago. Upon never receiving the fabric a week or two later, I called UPS to verify what happened to it. UPS said that they didn't know it was for a business and that the address provided was incorrect, somehow the address changed during delivery to a street name completely unknown to me and they had to begin a package investigation. I called onlinefabricstore.net to resolve the issue and explained to them the problem. I asked them kindly to send the package again to my business as we cannot afford to wait on the package investigation. I said that we would gladly ship the extra package back if it was recovered. They said to me that they could not ship another one out without billing us again. When I tried to negotiate I was told by the supervisor, Judy, that this is how normal customer service was handled. When I said that I'd never been asked to pay again for a problem like this, she assured me that she had and that it is normal. She tried to blame me for the error and say they didn't have the right address or the suite number. There was no apology made or any effort to retain my company's business. She basically told me tough luck and her attitude was horrible. When I asked her for her name, she hung up. I had to call back to get her name. DO NOT USE THIS MERCHANT if you value customer service, reliability, and integrity in your transactions.
*Update*
The same day that I contacted the merchant and posted this review I was contacted by Jean, the floor supervisor, who told me that they had persisted with UPS and got restitution for my package, which they are re sending immediately. She was very kind and personable - exactly what I expect from customer service. They've retained my business for now, I only wish it didn't require so much frustration and effort.
Tip for consumers:
Don't use this site.
Part of my order was back ordered significantly longer than they expected and beyond the initial email they sent to let me know my order would arrive in separate shipments, they never contacted me again. I think they are in over their heads. I would never pay for expedited shipping because they appear to be heavily dependent on their distributors schedules for product.
