I ordered this item on the 8th of June it arrived today the 20th of June lm disgusted at the state condition of the fan. It's badly painted. Rough edges. Their are white marks on the gold paint. It has sharp edges l cut my finger on one of them... this company is dreadful you shouldn't trust them. I thought l was buying direct from them but it was a foreign company. L will never buy from on buy again. Lve shopped with temu and Wowcher and l have never had any issues with them. L always receive my products. And they promptly sort out issues and refund in minutes...
I've been a seller on the Onbuy platform for well over a year now which has been a poor, unsupported sales platform from the get go. They promise amazing service and support but it really is non-existent. We're business that sells thousands of top branded home electricals and kitchenwares and we thought Onbuy was the ideal platform to grow our business but it has been awful with high selling fees, the customer service is so rude and unhelpful and with customer disputes they do not look after the sellers despite proof of delivery from Royal Mail with tracked services, photograph proof they will just refund the customers and treat you as if they don't care. We cancelled our £100 monthly subscription last month and will never be returning. Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Shopify are excellent and have a great support team and want to listen and support you but none of this is what Onbuy can offer and just want to make as much money as quickly as possible. We can safely say that we have out everything into OnBuy for the last year.
Stay away from these SCAMMERS! They have destroyed my mental health. For 5 weeks they have been deceiving me that the printer I paid for is on its way. Today I got an email that they will not send it to me. Now I have to fight these thieves again to get my money back! They do this on purpose to tire you out and make you give up your money! The police should look into their activities!
They sent wrong product, they supply no phone number or email address, they claimed product was sent from another company I cannot trace when in fact it was amazonn from the packaging and paperwork but still the wrong was product. As i bought as a guest I cannot complain as a pin code is required which when you request it on their site is never given. I didn't loose much money but am furious that companies can behave like this one
Purchased a Sharp microwave oven and paid extra for delivery but didn't get it on time۔ Then when it arrived, it came with burnt enamel in the oven cavity. Furthermore, instead of a secure plate covering electronic components inside the cavity there was a flimsy cardboard type piece, which fell out and electronics can be seen in oven cavity. Sent images with high resolution. Seller didn't respond with solution۔ After waiting 72 hours I was able to contact onbuy customer service who sent automated message that I'll be contacted in 48 hours but no contact made۔ Again I messaged onbuy and silence۔ It has been over a week now and no solution and no email response.
Its left be with the impression that Onbuy is a scam where sellers can scam people via by selling faulty, hazardous and used items as if they were brand new without repercussions and buyers money is stolen without any response or recourse.
I have decided:
1) never to buy from Onbuy again
2) leave more reviews on line
3) contact Fair Trading Standards
People say it is cheap to buy from Onbuy. I learned the opposite, to my horror. Gardeners Dream was the seller for peanuts advertised at £30 for 25kg. I opened the tab to show sizes and prices. There were no sizes and their photo showed peanuts with 25kg written on it. I understood that was the size and price. I did try to contact the seller, based in Scotland, but received no response. I decided it had to be OK, all British. Peanuts arrived a week later. Three bags with 12.55kg written on the bags. Thought there must be mire coming. Opened them to pour in to 5kg bins. There was not 12.55kg but instead 10kg. I contacted Onbuy. I was told that is what you ordered. To cut a long story short, Gardeners Dream basically said tough, would take no responsibility for misleading the buyer and Onbuy backed them up. And the final insult? I put a negative review on Onbuy site and they deleted it. So the reviews for Onbuy are misleading too. I expect most of the reviews on Onbuy site are manufactured. DO NOT BUY FROM ONBUY! Unscrupulous!
Scammed us with fake Pokemon cards. When requesting a refund we have never heard back from them. Avoid this website!
This has been the worst experience EVER! My partner bought a PC for my son for Christmas which was faulty! We had a replacement sent on 20th January which was also FAULTY! Apparently this one has no graphics card. So understandable want our money back. They have said it is over 30 days! We haven't had a day with a PC that is as per specifications as the add. Under the consumer act 2015 we are well within our rights to our money back! Bear in mind that a 10 year old has no PC that works and it is February 1st and it was his Christmas present! Absolutely disgusting customer service!

Onbuy owes me £500 in compensation for the time I wasted listing 460 products. This company canceled my sales account causing me financial loss. Furthermore, this company owes me £200 for the time lost due to red tape. Even though I met their conditions (company documents, positive reviews, proof of product ownership, etc.), they did not allow me to sell with them. In addition, this company robed me off from the £22.80 I paid them for "selling rights" even though the service was not delivered to me. Onbay are scammers who just want to rob you of your time and money. I am appealing to the control and security authorities to investigate these fraudsters and will seek compensation through the courts.
I purchased a ps5 for a Xmas present beginning of November. Item was sent out with wrong name on package. So was returned to sender by Royal Mail. Seller didn't have another one to send out so had to refund me. Now 7 weeks later I still have not had my money back. I have sent all documentation showing Royal Mail tracking saying item wrongly addressed and returned to sender. And message from the seller apologising that they have sent the item out with the wrong name. But all this time later still no refund. You can't speak to anyone only message. Most of the time they don't reply to you but on the odd occasion that they do it takes 48hrs and they are not helpful. Please avoid. This company should be shut down. Worst customer service I have ever encountered
I ordered a halogen oven from 'OnBuy' on the 23/10/23 o/n T5658DB.
I returned it via the post office tracker on the 30/10/23 I received no communication from them.
They blocked any e.mails I sent, 'OnBuy' finally e.mailed me, they are worse than useless, I was told that the company I bought the oven from would contact me within 2 days, they didn't!
It has been over 6 weeks since I returned the oven, I received an e.mail yesterday off 'OnBuy' to say My Ticket had expired, whatever that is!
I realise now I have lost my money, but other buyers beware! Do not have any dealings with this company, you have been warned!
Terrible experience after receiving a faulty product from a seller. I returned the product and never got my money back. I opened a dispute and Onbuy reassured me that they would refund me. This of course never happened and have sent multiple emails, to which they don't even reply... I would advise to either buy from a reputable seller and pray for the best or just avoid this site...
Bought a rugby shirt for my son which arrived safely but was too big so wanted to swap for a smaller size. With 30 day refund policy stated did not believe it would be a problem. Seller replied that return costs would be too expensive (later realised they were in China), so they then offered me £5 compensation which increased to £10 when I reminded them they were quoting 30 day refunds and compensation not what I wanted as am left with a shirt my son cannot wear and £25+ out of pocket. I then heard nothing from the Seller so have repeatedly contacted OnBuy who initially responded and mentioned their OnBuy Protection but no response now. All in all a very frustrating and disappointing experience so I shall certainly not be purchasing from OnBuy.com again. Buyer Beware!
Purchased replacement heads for electric toothbrush on 26/07/2023. Item never arrived. Asked OnBuy to deal with the matter. They said the seller does not respond to their emails and the case will be referred to OnBuy Protection. As per 02/11/2023 the case is still not resolved. OnBuy has stopped responding to my reminders. There is no option to give 'zero' rating hence 'one'
Do not buy from here! Same as others, I bought something, used guest checkout and got no email confirmation of my order or account details online. As they have no contact details available now there is no way of contacting the seller or onbuy to tell them my item was defective. Seems like a scam!
Their 'OnBuy protection states that you can message them but this option is only during a conversation with the seller, in which you click 'get help from OnBuy', after 2 days.
I selected this however I didn't hear from OnBuy following a request for assistance 5 later and was forced to raise a case with Paypal, despite OnBuy's response stating 'we will be in touch within 48 hours'. There is also no way to Contact OnBuy via phone, email or any other messaging system.
I have an issue with a phone which is not fit for use in the UK and I have no way to get help and will be over £600 out of pocket.
Have been using OnBuy since from a couple of years ago. Though at times delivery takes longer time, products or items are of quality and expectations met. I actually trust OnBuy than Ebay or Etsy. I can say I am a fan and a loyal customer.

OnBuy is full of sellers selling fake product, product not as advertised, even Amazon Marketplace Sellers selling their fake product via OnBuy but processing everything via Amazon even using Amazon envelopes and Amazon Returns to deliver their crap.
They sell used items as new. Then when things go wrong you find out that its a third party who has no interest in dealing with your problem.
Scamadviser notes that customers have no faith in this company and that "People stated that this site sells fake products."
Look at the bad reviews on trustpilot and notice the difference between these where people are complaining about used items sold as new and the "positive" reviews.
