Used it for a few months. The idea is good, but a lot of the stuff you get is inedible and gets thrown out. It's also very difficult to cancel your plan when you're unhappy with services, and the plan is automatically billed to you after signing up. It's like a bad gym membership you can't get out of.
They bait you to their system with $259.00 offer and you end up paying $100's more for their system. They auto ship monthly and when you try to cancel your order they charge $125 for cancellation prior to 2 months. You don't find this out until after you have ordered. The diet can work but it is only temporary. There are much better approaches out there. Stay away from this unscrupulous business. They manipulate and fool their customers. Not a good business model.
Can not cancel. Had to be over phone and I was on hold over 6 hours two days in a row no one ever answered I had to cancel my credit card and block them
I received my first monthly shipment. The diet did not go well. Pls my daughter said he food is not healthy. I called to cancel as I found a healthier diet plan and before my conversation was over, I was charged a $125.00 cancellation fee. When I asked where this fee was located on he site, the agen had no idea. Numerous emails for the return of my money is not responded to with any answer. Stay away from nutrisystem!
I've been a loyal customer for many years. There is a problem with a shipment now and customer service has been worthless... they continue to lie and say the order shipped on the 1st even after I provided them with a screenshot of tracking from the 4th showing they only generated a shipping label and never gave FedEx possession of any pkg (today's the 5th and they still haven't shipped my order). They deny any issue exists, refuse to look into the issue, and continue their blatant false claims that the order shipped 5 days ago when tracking clearly shows it never shipped.
So it appears I'm going to have to dispute the cc charge and move my business to one of their competitors.
I can't believe I fell for this trash. Food is gross. Customer service is worse. Both frozen product and dry goods are not fit for human consumption.
The food in the commerical looks like good portion and good taste. However, when you get the actual frozen delivery the portion is tiny and the taste is so dry and bad. I don't see how I can continute this. Called to request cancellation and was told that I need to pay $125 cancellation fee because they gave me a discount for shipping on the first order.
This is a complete scam. How do you expect people to know whether or not they like your food without tasting it first! It's my bad to trust them and bought such a big order. At the end of day, I spent total of close to $600 and only ate half ot he frozen delivery. It is such a waste of money.
If you have any respect for good food don't order this. Working out in gym is hard enough. Eating this thing that taste like plastic will not help.
I prepaid for two months. I placed my first order and with it I was able to apply coupons for free items. When I received the dry food order, it was incorrect. I had to wait on the phone for 1 hour to find out what to do. I was told to return the box of dry food with the free food items. The frozen food had not shipped and was cancelled. They then told me to re order. When I did this, I was not able to apply the coupons to the order for the free items because they had been used already. So I was going to end up paying $19.99 for return shipping, lost a $10 coupon and lost 40 free items. The customer service agent just wanted to get me to place an order and told me that after they received my returned items I should call them and they would credit me the $19.99 in shipping, credit me the $10.00 coupon and re apply the free items to my next order. I called back after confirming with federal express that they had delivered my order. I waited on hold for 1 hour again to speak to a customer service agent. She told me that I was miss informed by the previous agent and that they could not apply the coupon codes once they are used.
When I told her that this was shady of the previous agent to tell me that to get me to re place an order. Their mistake is now costing me money and I wanted to cancel my membership. I was told that I would be charged $125 and the frozen items could not be returned.
Bottom line... not losing any weight. I have been on Nutrisystem 4 months nor good. And they are charging me way too much and I can't get through by phone!
Horrifying experience! If can do negative stars I would do it. The customer service does not exist, and good lick in you need a refund. If you like classical music, that's the only thing you will listen to if you try to contact them. Food is terrible and they send you whatever they want, but what you ask for.
I have tried multiple diet programs. Nutrisystems is the worst. The food is terrible. The choices are limited for healthy options. Breakfast are heaviily weighted with poor options for sustained weight loss. Chocolate muffins, granola bars, cheesy rice, pizza. Will not benefit in helping sustain weight loss by learning healthy food options. The 50% off is a scam. The regular price would be $900/mo. Good luck getting ANY help from customer service! Why is it so hard to find an actual review!?
Is nobody bothered by Nutrisystem's blatant lies?
1. Prepay for two months and receive 50% off! Prepay for three months and receive 53% off!
If you do the math, it does not come anywhere near 50%. Oh, that's because the discount is off the "regular" price, not the price they are advertising per month. Regular price is $780+ per month!
2. Diabetic plan is more expensive than a "regular" (most popular!) plan. Must be due to the special "diabetes-friendly" menu?
Oh, but the menus are identical! Same breakfast items! But you don't know the sugar content. They conveniently limit the ingredient list to just calories, fat, fiber and protein. Carbohydrates and sugar? Trust us when we say "diabetes friendly."
3. There us a 14-day money-back guarantee.
Oh, but if you return it within 14 days, they will charge you additional $125, because you are breaking the auto-delivery requirement.

Their terms say they will provide a money back guarantee. Half of my order (the non-frozen stuff) arrived. Some of the order was wrong. I was not thrilled with the food - some was in squeeze pouches, others were dehydrated in paper cups. Looked gross. The portions were small. I was told "that's what a diet is." I explained that a diet is eating healthy. I asked if I could cancel and get my money back. I had called to cancel within 2 days - the terms say I can get money back if I cancel within 10. I spoke with Mike, who told me that I would get a full refund if I return what I have left (I had tried one item). I returned it, but they refused to give me a refund. They claimed that I did not cancel within time. I provided proof that I had signed up two days before and proof of my cancellation, but they still refused to give back my money. Now I have no product and am out the money. BUYER BEWARE!
I tried it for a month and was ALWAYS HUNGRY after eating their meals and you still need some items from the grocery store to follow their "plan". I learned to NOT skip a meal, eat smaller portions at mealtimes (NO seconds and cut out bread), snack on fruits (apple, banana) raw veggies (celery, carrot sticks) or small amount of mixed nuts. Drink plenty of water throughout the day! By doing my own "plan", I lost the weight I need to for hip replacement surgery
I signed up and paid for this program. It was about $457.00. A week later, it is further reduced to under $400. Nutrisystem will not refund the difference. The customer service ( two of them) who handled my request to cancel this product after one shipment were rude, unprofessional and determined to charge me the $125. Nor did they try and offered me other potential solutions. This was even after I explained there appeared to be mouse droppings in the dry box full of food that they delivered to me. To me they were Clearly unsympathetic and lacked empathy to my concern and issues. They didn't even discuss that they would look into my issues and get back to me.
However, they were sure to tell me that I would have to pay the $125. They did this by way of charging my original credit card information from my first order when I signed up two weeks ago. In other words, they kept my credit card information and then, as soon as I got off the phone with them, they immediately charged my credit card account $125 even after all of the issues I raised and, stating I did not want to pay this cancellation charge of $125. (They probably charged my card while we on the phone. That's what the credit card statement showed.) This was after I stated I do not want to pay that, the box and possible mice droppings, the expense overall.
The lack of sensitivity to the customer was frustrating, maddening and really, incredible in this day and age of full refunds or partial refunds and maybe even a "Sorry" it didn't work out with most on line companies.
Stay tune... I'm going to attempt to return the box and see if they will honor their "guarantee or your money back... just return the unused food"
Go with someone else if you have the time to research weight loss products and services.
Food is tasteless, made me sicker than a dog! I didn't lose any weight at all! I had migraines every day due to not being able to eat enough. They don't tell you to add any fresh food items like veggies. But customer support told me via social media. Are you serious? It's not enough food for an average person even! Waste of my money!
The food was terrible and they starve you. Literally. I was so hungry I was angry enough to rip someone's head off. The portions are extremely small and of course you'd lose weight by starving!
I do not recommend this to anyone! The food is terrible and you simply don't get enough to eat. They tell you to add in some fresh grocery items okay. But it's terrible
I subscribed to nutrisystem for many months. Delivery was always on time. I did lose weight, but I could not continue with them as their menu meals just did not taste good enough. Many menu choices were below average in taste, and I could not stomach to eat them anymore. To upgrade to better tasting meal choices they did offer was just too expensive.
Turbo 10 purchased for $250. Bought the Basic Plan. Food not much to talk about. (I could do better in taste and value with Lean cuisine@ the Grocery Store). So one month was all I wanted. But, I found out that I was locked into 2 months ( or a $99 cancelation fee) by some very fine print carefully hidden on the order page. Customer Service would do NOTHING about it (except offer to show me where it was on their Website (What does THAT tell you!) BUYER BEWARE. Before you throw away your money.its in (very) fine print under SUBMIT ORDER. I would like to know why a company cant be held to honest advertising all it would take is: TURBO 102 month minimum order required What about it Nutrisystem. Afraid youll lose some customers? I hope this review accomplishes the same. After all, it cost me $ 350. (Anyone looking for some boxed food cheap?)
There are ways to diet that are less expensive. The nutrisystem diet consists of stuff that doesn't even taste like food. I would prefer a diet that allows you to eat real food. You can probably loose weight if you are capable of keeping to this diet. The food is so bad though, I doubt it is possible.
