Product is great, but very disappointed in the way it was boxed cut myself several times when the legs on grate would fall out of the boxing and leave sharp edges. Everything else I would give a five product was as described.
The stainless steel chimney cap was damaged by machining done during assembly and by heat discoloration at the seams. It is useable, but not of expected quality.
The return policy is trash I had to drive 9 hrs to save on shipping cost and the promotion code is only good for 10$ on a 2 thousand dollar order. Might as well not give one. It's not even 1%. Hopefully the product is better then all else.

Ordered Duravent chimney pipe. 1st order came through dented and was returned. That process was rather easy but replacement piece was dented as well. Kept the section anyway and repaired the dent ourselves. Ordered a storm collar next, part came right away, undamaged, but realized they never emailed a receipt. Called about it, left on hold until redirected to voicemail, and left my contact information. Day 4 and still no response. So I emailed the receipt issue to customer service, hopefully will hear from them soon.

I ordered a super quiet fan.
It arrived Ina timely manner but ended up not being as quiet as specified.
When contacting the that sent us the product (online stores), they said the seller (northline express) would contact us.
We haven't heard back from either.

I ordered a heater and a stand to go with it. They failed to send stsnd with heatet and when I called to get them to fix the problem, I got a representative with a major attitude. I finally got the stand and the heater worked perfectly despite the box being destroyed in shipment.

I spent the time to rughtva gift message so the receiver would know it was a New Years gift from my husband and me. There was no message on or included in the package. If I had not included my own phone number, the receiver would have not known who it was from. I checked the original purchase order and it is on there, so what happened? Also the purchaser was listed as the recipient. All wrong. My name was on the original information but never showed up.

First of all, Northline under-promised and over-delivered on the time from order to ship. This is a good thing!
The heat exchanger works... works quite well, in fact... BUT... surely you guys could have done better on that hinky, cheap-$#*! manifold. I mean, come ON... silicone? Do-it-yourself SILICONE?
For the price, you should fab a 1.75"-to-2" exhaust manifold, streamlined to reduce turbulence, and ship butt joint clamps to assemble.
I am having my welding shop fab a new piece for that. I just can't stand that sheet metal thing that comes stock.

Had everything I needed, and quick shipping…everything arrived free from damage. I'd purchase from them again.
Purchased 2 backer discs and they work good. Bought these to replace my old discs that I lost.
I ordered the Pilgrim 5 piece fireplace tool set and Black and Brass ash bucket. Both arrived in great condition. I had to put the stand together, but that took 15 minutes. I was worried that the lid wouldn't fit properly on the ash bucket, as I read other comments, but mine fits well! So far so good!
Product selection was good, just what we were looking for. Once received the grate was just as described. It should last a lifetime. Delivery was quick.
