I ordered a 6 inch 25 foot double walled flexible chimney pipe on October 29. I did not receive any shipping info about my order. I thought maybe they don't do that. However after a week and a half went by and I did not receive my item, I called the company. I talked to a computer and was sent my shipping info. The item was supposed to have been delivered November 2nd, as it was shipped October 30th. It appeared to be stuck in Hutchins Texas. So I called again to talk with someone. A lady was very helpful and investigated my order only to find it had been lost. She offered to cancel my order and refund my money or have another one sent. Needing the item, I asked her to send another one. This was all on the 14th of November. The lady told me I would be sent another shipping email when the new chimney shipped. I received an email 2 days later that my order had been lost and the vendor was sending me a new one. Thinking the item would be shipped immediately, as it was last time, I thought great! However, 4 days after the email about it being lost and 6 days after the initial discovery of the lost item, I still hadn't received any shipping info. So I called yesterday, the 20th, to find out what was going on. I explained everything to the lady again, she informed me of what I already knew, that my order was lost and another was being sent. I informed her that my window for getting this thing in was diminishing. Then she became irritated with me and with a very obvious annoyed tone and reluctance stated she would check with their vendor to see what was going on. Hence my bad review. I get that things are out of your control in terms of a lost item. However figuring out why the new item is delayed is basic customer service. I was not at all nasty when telling the lady my predicament and do not feel my inquiry into the situation was at all unreasonable considering the fact that my prior order was shipped the day after I made it.

Purchased $1900 worth of chimney supplies to complete a job for a customer who relies on their wood stove for heat. It's been just coming on 2 months since purchase was made and still do not have all the supplies. Customer is irritated with me, understandably so, and still not having proficient heat in their home with temperatures dropping below freezing. Have called customer service repeatedly to no avail. I DO NOT RECOMMEND PURCHASING FROM HERE. There are numerous other companies around that get your order to you within a week at the latest.

As the first time buying from Northland I was very skeptical of what to expect. I needed all the piping and roofing parts for my wood fire oven. Northline had the best prices by far so I was concerned with service. All of the items shipped quickly which was a good sign. When one of the 60" double wall stove pipes was delivered the top of the box was open. After pulling the pipe it was dented up. This was a UPS issue not Northline but I didnt know how it would be handled. I called Northline and they told me not to worry, a new one would be ordered and they would take care of the UPS claim. The new item was ordered and shipping info was sent less than a week later. AMAZING service! The experience was so good that I checking out what else they sell. BTW, I never give reviews but this is def review worthy.
