Delivery was very late. Product is ok, but lacks sufficient number of pockets and i would like to return the item.
While happy with the products and pricing/promotions, delayed deliveries kept me on edge.
Everyone forgot about covid a long time ago, there is no war in the country, everything works like clockwork, but Northbound Gear managed to distinguish himself and organized a quick delivery, in just two and a half weeks, from January 13 to 30. Thanks, I already thought that I would try on winter trousers in the spring
Great service. Great comfortable product once ordered the order arrived quickly
I was very disappointed to find that I could not return my item unless the tags were still secured to the pants.
They were a gift and the tags were removed. The pants were never used but your policy says that it will not accept returns if the tags are removed.
The "Tip" section at checkout is a pretty souring experience, and quite frankly I'm annoyed to even see it...I'm not ordering food with Skip the Dishes or UberEats, I'm buying clothes! One would assume that a quality clothing company would be paying their employees a living wage, rather than badgering clients for a tip for "the team" on the checkout page. Absolutely not impressed by that, at all!
Love the pants, but shipping sucks eggs. Ordered the first pair of pants in January and they arrived way past the commitment date. Took a leap of faith and ordered a second pair February 12th and still waiting for them to arrive by Canada Post. I've purchased from other Canadian vendors who use Canada Post and my deliveries have always arrived within the commitment period. I'm not sure what delivery option Northbound Gear uses to ship products or where their warehouse is but delivery is super slow. Maybe just let customers know their order will arrive between a 2 - 4 week window. Over committing and under delivering is so annoying.
Love the trousers looking forward to wearing them when I go to the arctic circle. However I was a bit disappointed when placing my second order due to connection issues I lost some of my bonus points.
I ordered two pairs of pants, one for myself and one for my partner. My partners pair fit fine. Mine did not. They gapped at the back when sitting and pulled in tight across my stomach. The fabric is great, but it was the cut. When I went to return them, I had to pay for shipping- $31.00 from Ontario plus a $5 restocking fee. I live in a rural area and the shopping in stores is not great, so I took a chance. I lost.
I like the pants, will use them mostly in the winter. Delivery took a very long time, not shipped from Canada obviously.
Had to change credit card info, site would still reject it. I almost gave up.
The delivery time of over 3 weeks is a deterrent for me making future purchases.
These pants are really great. Ive used them on a trail maintenance day and on a ski day. I can see myself using them hiking, mountain biking, and doing yard work. Very comfortable fit and warm as toast!
The purchase process went very smoothly. Great service but very slow delivery.
The purchase process went very smoothly. Each step was clear and understandable. Good design!
Je les porte chaque matin pour mon 5km de marche très satisfait
In the days of overnight, 2 or 3 day, even 7 day deliveries, waiting almost 3 weeks for my paid for items is not acceptable to me. I suggest not using the postal service as they are government employees and funded by tax dollars, which makes them inefficient compared to FedEx or other private couriers.
I bought your most waterproof jacket which turned out not to be waterproof, resulting in a security failure with my car key which did get wet in the pocket.
Excellent pair of trousers. Thankfully I bought size 28, even though I am 29/30. Perfect fit and comfortable
This is not my first order, I have always been pleased with my items. This time, however, the pants are a bit tight. I have a winter pant and a summer pant in size 8 and they fit just fine. This newest pair are a bit tight so sizing has changed since I ordered the last pair.
6 emails and 5 phone calls and you never returned my call emails were not much better said u would look into where my pants were no follow up got message that they were clearing customs ….really Vancouver to Toronto north to Bracebridge…3 weeks
I think my review title says it all. It took over 2 weeks to reach me and customer service were no help. They didn't even bother to reply to two emails.
Answer: So far the evidence is that it is a scam. Ask me in a year and maybe it will have arrived in time for next hiking trip.
Answer: China... apparently. Won't know for sure as not yet arrived.
Answer: Hi Elizabeth, I'm sorry for the delay. Upon checking, it shows that your order was shipped last October 14, however, there seems to be a delay with the delivery on the courier's end. They provided an update on the tracking information and I attached a link for your reference. https://www.canadapost-postescanada.ca/track-reperage/en#/details/1023038360005180 As much as I love to expedite the delivery, this situation is out of our control. No worries, I will reach out to the courier to see to it that the item will be delivered soon. Rest assured that your order will be delivered anytime soon.
