I have read many different reviews from people about NMCToys.ca, and everyone is entitled to their own opinion, thats what the internet is for. But my experience for over the last year of service has been amazing. The company is based in eastern Canada and I live in the North Western part of Canada (YUKON), and shipping to use is not always the easiest or best thing. So far if I had to cancel an item from one of my orders, they have easily given me in-store credit with no explanation needed. I have had to ship back an item with no problems, a lot less painful then Amazon.ca. I had to ask them to put my order on hold because of financial issues, and I was not harrassed about it, they put the order aside and ask me to just let them know when things got better to continue with the order. Their prices are a lot better than many Canadian stores I have looked at online, so I really have no complaints, just a satisfied costumer. Sometimes before people read reviews about any company, just give them a try. There is always 2 sides to a story and this social media bull$#*!, people will only read the one side. When the person complaining about a business didn't get their way, how did they treat the business, that's the part that is never explained. I will continue to order from NMCTOYS.CA, this is one satisfied customer. Cheers, Happy Yukoner

Do not buy unless you like burning money. Won't respond whatsoever, this guy doesn't understand how easy this could be, blames customers and refuses to respond. I lost $800 in preorders and the slime ball won't ever respond to simple ETA requests. Grow up if you think you can run a business. Happy to help, I dare you to change my mind….coward

If i could give zero i would. First time i ordered i waited over a year and was told i couldnt have my money back because it was "processing ". Now i have three orders again over a year. But theyve said " processing " for about four months atleast. Ive emailed support n sales atleast 8 times each over last 4 months. Not one reply! Im not sure if theyve closed n im just beat or what is going on? Avoid like the plague.

Preorders and item 3 months in advance. 1 months after the release date, I started contacting them about it not arriving. Multiple emails to customer service were ignored and when I connected on Facebook, the owner began to harass me and with name calling and telling me I was a disgusting human being for bothering him like this when things like Covid were going on in the world. May refunded my money and banned me from the site when I told him I would just call Visa for a chargeback.

This 'business' will happily take your money and then ghost you. Don't bother asking for an update to your order, you won't get a response, and when you do, you will likely be insulted for wanting to know where your product is, or for not following the contradictory rules of how to ask for this information.
I wish I had never heard of NMC Toys, they are a blight in the entire collecting hobby.

I was looking for a collectible, but I didn't want to pay the eBay price. By miracle, I found it at NMC toys! I register, I order, I pay and I wait.
And wait.
And wait.
I send a mail asking what's going on. All I got was a canned response.
I wait.
After 3 weeks, I finally contacted my credit card company to complain and get a "temporary" refund.
Now, I'm filing a complain at Frauds Canada.

This SCAMMER must be stopped.

NMC take your money and that's it.

Steals from children then run his mouth. Will be held accountable soon.

Took pre orders, never updated. Never responded had to purchase else where for sick children (I run a charity) and has only recently emerged to act like im crazy for being upset. He's the literal definition of needs a lesson

Don't bother. Just go to an actual store. I'm out $156 I'll never get back or the products I ordered. I've been waiting exactly 8 months and 2 days (made order at the end of November 2022. Payment came out December 1,2022) for my pre order that I watched go from pre order to in stock to out of stock with nothing but automated responses to my repeated emails. First email I sent about a month after I watched my items get in stock sounded reasonable how he was busy and trying to catch up but when every email response after is just the same over and over it gets a bit ridiculous. After 6 months of waiting I didn't even want my order anymore I just wanted a refund so I could buy those items somewhere else. Like I said don't bother with this place and just go somewhere more legit. Maybe he'll finally answer me properly on here. Order #*******. Thanks

Horrible customer service (very offensive, defensive, combative and somewhat abusive). Also, I never got what I ordered. Additionally, they would not refund the order, even though they failed to fulfill the order ( with 2.5 years of lies and excuses). Finally, I took store credit just to stop dealing with them (got very crappy in stock items cause they can't fullfil pre orders). Worst company in the world. The owner needs a mental health assessment; he's a complete psycho (and I was patient and nice (didn't help being nice here tho, they just strung me along). Btw: Do Not believe anything they say. Trust your fellow collectors, this company is incredible dishonest and absolutely the worst. Also: They told me I can't go to the Better Business Bureau, but I dont trust them and I probably still will.

Been trying to have my item shipped since Feb. No response to emails at sales or support not on FB either. Gonna try reverse charges with bank... I feel scammed he can say the store isn't a scam but, at this point I feel hella scammed...

At the time of writing this, NMC Toys owes me over 100$ of products that were never shipped. The orders were made well over 2 years ago. I asked for a refund over 5 months ago and my emails are ignored. Even if I had positive experiences with them at first, I can now say that I will never place any more orders with them.

Store is an entire scam. Any follow up with your order will result in futile response. Make your purchases elsewhere.

This "store" does not reply to any emails, at all. I preordered a year and a half ago, every other store has had stock for at least 6 months. Dozens and dozens of unanswered emails later, here I am. No money and no product. STAY AWAY!

I ordered a few items via NMCToys.ca on June 4,2021. It's now September 23,2022 and never received my order. They had no problem taking my money immediately.

The owner Austin Da Silveira's best offer was store credit. Store credit is no good if you don't send the items I order with it.

I'm currently disputing the transaction with Paypal and I hope for a favorable conclusion.

In the meantime, I'm ensuring I leave reviews everywhere I can so people can stay away from his website and hopefully his business practices will end.

This has to be the worst customer service I experienced and the worst business owner and a thief I had ever dealt with.

Always check website reviews even though they're considered local.

This store is a scam, DO NOT buy from them. Ordered several items a couple of years ago and never received any of them, regardless of them being in stock or pre-order. Nothing shipped to me.

Worst owner of a business to ever have to deal with. I will not be focussing this review on the business itself. That's not the issue. It's how it's run and how you're treated as a customer.

This guys version of "customer service" is abysmal and doesn't even exist. The lack of ethics and morals is unreal. "Let me be perfectly clear" something you'll most definitely hear or read when getting a response from this guy. He will berate you. He will tell you openly that the customer is not always right and that if you're human and make any error or mistake at all you deserve verbal abuse, gas-lighting and condescending remarks.

He is spiteful and believes the customer should be responsible for fees his business incurs should you choose to file any claim through your bank or PayPal.

Also, if you do file any claim whatsoever, regardless of how much or little you give him you'll immediately be banned. He is a keyboard warrior like no other I've ever seen. If you need any proof, just look at his google reviews. Specifically the negative ones, as he can't help himself but to respond and air as much dirty laundry as he is legally able to.

It's worth paying other businesses more money to avoid dealing with this toxic, salty and mean-spirited individual. Heed my warning or don't.

I will say, you will get your products and have a normal customer experience of absolutely nothing goes wrong. At all. Good luck!

I pre-ordered Pokemon Astral pokemon cards that were supposed to be released in May 2022. It is now June 2023 and I have still not received my item, or any updates related to my order. I asked for a refund because it is obvious this item i pre-ordered is never coming in. I have emailed them over a dozen times asking for a refund, and no has responded or even acknowledged my requests for more information. Do a quick Google search on this place and you will see A LOT of people have issues with this vendor. Extremely unprofessional. Crazy that this place is still in business TBH...

In fear of the owner sending me more angry emails and harrassing me, I will keep this short. If you pre-order from this shop, you will likely have the same experience that I and dozens of others who have written reviews have had - you won't receive your item. Guess how long I've waited on an order slated to come in 2020? 12 months. In a few months from the time of writing this review it will be 2022. He charges your card first (the owner, Austin Da Silveira) and charges you if you request a refund, no matter your reason. But what is worse than losing money on something you didn't receive at the fault of NMC Toys is that the owner will degrade you, talk down to you, attack your character, your knowledge and your experience. He will call your struggles a "sob story." He proudly asserts, on public reviews and on reddit that the customer is NOT always right. Please stay away from NMC toys. Please. As someone in business, this is nothing against small businesses nor is it slander, but for the safety of fellow collectors, STAY AWAY.

Owner will steal money for preorders that will never be filled and only option to get money back is for owner to keep 20% as his stealing fee or take store credit so owner can get rid of his unsellable stock. Most times in-stock orders are not actually in-stock and you are in same situation as with the preorders. You will have to send emails for many months to have an order cancelled. The owner will only respond to emails once the time limit is up on being able to file dispute from credit card or paypal. Do not waste your money and time at this fake store.

I would not buy from this guy.
I pre-ordered items 1 year in advance (Over priced too...)
Everyone was getting their orders fulfilled by other stores and for the next 5 months I didn't receive anything. Amazon even had a sale ($50 off) with free Prime shipping! When I tried to cancel and ask for a refund (Items still not in stock) I got rude responses and only gave the option for a restocking charge (For items not even in stock!) But even with the restocking charge buying on Amazon was still cheaper overall then buying from NMC. Buyers BEWARE. Keep your wallet safe and away from here!

Terrible customer service, will find every excuse to get around refunds, no priority for customers who have paid for pre orders. I'd stay away.

I placed an order on January 1,2022. I've emailed several times. Since ordering, the products I asked for have been available at other retailers, but since NMC charged me upon the initial transaction, I held off buying.

It's been 20 months. No one emails you back. No one will even respond to my request to cancel. This is the worst customer service that I have experienced in my lifetime, bar none.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PEOPLE. They will hold on to your cash, not send out the stuff you ask for, and then not get back to you when you ask about it.
