Their site literally shows two of my 5* Google reviews, but puts the rating at 3.5. Hurtful to my business and it's not based on anything real.

Helped our beauty salon become known in our area! After we upgraded to a premium listing, our salon's card transformed visually and began regularly appearing in the top results of the directory. Now we have a good, steady flow of clients, and profits are on the rise. The money we invested in premium service has paid off.

We have heard a name for the first time of nice local. We are unhappy as they listed our business without our knowledge and rated it moderate. This is not acceptable from worldwide company atleast. I have put up my query for the same on website as well.

User-friendly website interface, logical navigation. We started working with Nicelocal only recently, but already we're seeing results. Several customers have already told us that they learned of our salon on the website. Not bad for a new platform — there's a lot to like. Now I'm thinking about getting even more serious about developing our Nicelocal presence with a more expensive package.

They seeded a 'review' site with stale data scraped from google, put up a pretty UI with a bunch of buttons that don't work and broken features. They don't really offer any info that isn't already on Google etc but hey they're on top of their SEO game

This is a classic impersonation scam, all window dressing no substance, the brand is called "Nicelocal" but there's obviously nothing 'nice' or 'local' about it, it's the same issue with the Yelp business model, they'll never explicitly say "pay to show/hide reviews" they just have some arcane 'advanced algorithm' that decides to show/hide reviews randomly and force businesses to pay for extra consulting/features for to manage 'online reputation success' or whatever

Don't support businesses like these and i'd be careful giving them money or data

Write random reviews and ratings just to fill webspace without any knowledge of what is being reviewed. It seems quite useless and detrimental this way.

Some appreciative customers left positive reviews on the Nicelocal website; it was purely by chance that we found our beauty salon's card at all. We thought, why not clean it up nicely so that it starts attracting new customers for us?

We allowes ourselves the luxery of paid promotion, as it opens up more opportunities. Since our launch, our customer numbers are UP 10 percent.

They will not allow you to post comments that is telling the truth about the company. If your willing to lie or post a good review it's approved but if you state how the company has issues they will send you a message rejecting your review. Then tell you it was an offense ive comment and they can't post it. My comment "I don't like the way this company handles their issues" nothing in this was obscene or held foul language according to the reason they rejected my reviews. So all you will get from there website is lies

Our salon had a card on the Nicelocal website. But we didn't really spend time on it, until several clients said they had found our salon's info on Nicelocal. We immediately ordered premium promotion. It's quite convenient, the card immediately looks different, and banners for similar businesses are removed from the page.

I have just noticed these guys have taken photos from my landscaping business and put them on their website as well as changing the services I provide. I have not asked for this and have emailed asking for it to be removed as this is illegal. Lets see what they do...

Not a bad platform; the interface is simplicity itself. Sometimes I contact support if technical issues arise.

I always monitor reviews and competitor pricing. I like everything here. We purchased the Premium promotion, which expanded our potential to attract customers.

Company cards always include lots of useful information, including customer reviews, which enable you to draw some conclusions about a given business. For me, Nicelocal is currently the best directory around for finding services.

Several of our salon clients learned about us from Nicelocal. Even when we were using the site for free it brought us new people, and since we switched to Premium things have gotten even better. The price is reasonable; it pays for itself in short order, so I'm perfectly satisfied with everything in that regard.

Self-professed review platform with review ratings based on nothing from the web (not from Google or Facebook). No contact information to indicate how to have them remove my business listing.

"Nicelocal" seems to have lifted info off of a legitimate listing for our business, and created their own parasitic "listing" which we have not approved, and want nothing to do with. They have added additional inaccurate information. I have emailed twice to request that this listing be removed. No response. How is this legal or ethical? Like most scam sites, there is no owner information listed or legitimate way to contact them. It may take a class action suit to stop them.

I liked the Premium package on Nicelocal — they really do bring in the clients. I have a small beauty salon; we opened not too long ago. We had very few clients, but after the Nicelocal managers put together a card for me our customer base slowly began to increase. A chain reaction followed: several people came to us through Nicelocal, left reviews, and told their friends. We also ran a "bring a friend" promotion. Eventually the salon started booking solid even several days in advance. The features are good, clear, and simple. I'm quite satisfied.

I just recently noticed this so call review website pop up in my google reviews. They are posting inaccurate and misleading information about my business (in Toronto). I have worked hard to maintain a 5* google rating but somehow on their site we're at 4.7 and ALL reviews were pulled from google. How in the hell is that possible? How do I go about removing all of my business info from their site. My next move is to report them to the Better Business Bureau.

Thanks to Nicelocal, my dental office has become more visible to clients. I ordered Premium on the website. The price was attractive. They asked me for some information, which they themselves then entered on the website to make my card even more attractive. Clients started showing up. I ask everyone how they learned about us — Nicelocal, they say. I also regularly respond to reviews, so people can see that I care.
