My neighbour (BC Roofing and Renovation, Midland) is slandering me throuh Google reviews. Using and posting this review puts Nice Local in the middle of what looks like a Defamation law suit. This is NiceLocals.ca 6 week legal notice that they too will be involved in my slander suit.

I only found out about Nicelocal recently. We're on the first page of the catalog. Thanks to that, our customer numbers have gone up and people are returning to us regularly. I'll be honest, it's really nice to see our customers thanking us and posting good reviews on Nicelocal.

I love working with Nicelocal. When we got our paid promotion, loads of salon booking inquiries began to arrive from the site. We manage to convert many of them into real visits. Working with Nicelocal is very convenient. They're always helpful

I've been using Nicelocal to search for various kinds of services for ages. You get to set up filters on it, read reviews, look at the rating. In all the time I've been using it I've never been disappointed. I always find great experts and quality service.

Initially, I used the service as a user when, while on a business trip, I was looking for a good cafe located nearby. I liked the way the information was structured from the inside, and I decided to use the service for my bakery. Just like I did, new clients found me. There haven't been many of them, but I'm happy anyways)

I open up Nicelocal every day, either because I need something, or to read a review, or to look up a phone number, or glance at an address. Beforehand you needed to ransack the entire internet, but now you can just open the site and all the information you need is right there - and, best of all, it's up to date.

I found Nicelocal by accident: when I was looking for reviews about a particular businesses, Nicelocal appeared first in the list. Since then I look on it for everything I need. A convenient site, simple to use, a huge amount of information; and I also like the fact all the reviews are by real people, not dummy people. I write reviews quite often myself, this service is really helpful.

I was looking for a hairdresser on Nicelocal, I came across a very cool salon with promotions and discounts. Then I needed a restaurant for dinner. And I've found a lot more stuff on Nicelocal. The search is convenient: by name, by place, etc. I always look through the reviews: they help me choose. And I write reviews myself, maybe they'll be useful to somebody

I have discovered this website recently, there are reviews for some categories — and this is great, since I can find out the opinions of visitors in advance! I didn't find a way to set a route through it, but it's not a big deal.

I got an email from these guys thanking me for signing up but it didn't say what I apparently signed up for. I didn't remember ever giving them my email address and I could tell right away it was some kind of scam because all the email said was "congratulations for successfully for signing up with nicelocal. Ca" and then quoted my email address followed by "Best regards, the Nicelocal team". Any legit business would have more to say about their product or service and would probably give a link or something. I am not going to reply to them and hopefully they'll go away, I also marked it as spam with Google. I don't own a business and so I have no idea why they are bothering me.

Incorrect listing extremely misleading and it just gets worse...

Nicelocal has placed an unauthorized listing of our business on their site and although they had used our photos (from google) they incorrectly listed our business as a clothing manufacturer when we sell civil supplies?

When asked to fix the listing they removed the photos (only thing that was correct) and wrote this garbled message: it to "Doing business is difficult and composite process that claims the highest possible involvement of entrepreneur in all aspects. Not to waste time,...

Can't be an error, its just too far fetched. I am assuming their reasoning is that you will finally give up and pay to update your listing yourself. After this - we will not be advertising with the company

Nice local I didn't give u permission to steal my business it called infringement on my Intellectual property asset. Aka trademark. Aka u don't own copyrights my photos. I can sue u. Google gets permission to list me. I pay money be listed where I choose then they have me sign papers say what they can post. I control listing. Ur practice is illegal. Ur scammers. Of course u list the business not accurate, so I can contact u and u can get rest of my info then identity theft me? Called scamming. Or I pay u to list correct? It money scam hijacking holding my business at ransom until I pay? U just have half my page correct. I know trick. Then u expect me buy package to fix errors? U hijacked my business? The good reviews here about nice local are just your team posting from themselves to counter the true reviews that are bad yet accurate reviews? U have 24 hours to remove my listing or I'm calling police. FBI. Better business. Lawyers. Etc. Did I mention I work in law asides owning business. U will need to ask permission to steal businesses profiles it illegal what ur doing. U can't do that. In usa u must get permission otherwise it's called stealing my intellectual property asset. So no ur not new Google search engine ur the scammers who wish u were a real business. Stop stealing our business info then adding info n hours that incorrect then playing dumb saying we can create business account log in. U mean u installed malware so I can add my info u can steal more info? Wow. I'm coming at u with civil suit so u might stop while ur ahead. Thanks.

Contacted them many times true mails and WhatsApp but zero response! Payed 2 x 39€ but can't logging and if i want to login, i need to pay again. Also can't find my towns name exc….

Where did they get these 2 stars/reviews from? Who wrote the reviews? Why did I get 4 stars? Why do I have a profile that I can't access on their site? Why do they have a website that has been down for 4 years? Why will they not respond to my email inquiries? They're forcing me to sign up if I want to see who reviewed me, they have 2 reviews/stars for a profile they fabricated. There is no transparency in their actions and they put up a profile for me that I have no way of controlling or owning myself. It's basically like someone wrote a smear article. I will pursue every avenue to return the favor.

Tapped and published my company data without consent. Yourself on your website no imprint (which is illegal). The operators of the website are located in India...

Nicelocal has a simple, intuitive interface. As soon as we obtained a card here and made it look good, we saw an increased influx of customers. Results can be achieved if you constantly update your information, paying attention to the most relevant wishes of your customers.

I find lots of things via Nicelocal. I trust it, and the information is always accurate. I found a dentist practice on there and now that's where I get my tooth work done regularly.
