This course was enjoyable until they made new changes. I tried taking the course today and got two questions wrong and they locked me out and told me I had to re-register and pay for the course again. Please do not use them because they will rip you off!

This company takes your money and if you make a mistake with the security of the system, which has nothing to do with the course answers, they keep the money and they will not return it to you, no matter what you say, no matter what you do.

This company has some of the most intrusive and overly passive aggressive online course policy's I've ever seen. They require you to call periodically and read a bunch of nonsense numbers but God help you if you're ID number doesn't get picked up because then you are locked out. That's just one example. It's even worse if you, god forbid, want to take a different course. Then you have to set up ANOTHER account... because .

My registered for the course in attempts to lower his insurance. He had issues with the program, so he accidentally maxed out this three attempts. We reached out to customer service and explained the situation. We were told that he would have to re-register, which based on the website was not an issue. However, their website and terms that we must re-register does not explain that ANOTHER payment would have to be done. The fact that their website is ambiguous and honestly not user friendly for people who are not use to using the computer.
Stay away, I got in the 3rd section and got blocked and no customer service. They hide behind chats. Scammers. Not just me, My wife experience the same issue.

Voice biometrics are iffy, someone talking in the next room, a car siren, maybe an asthmatic day... halfway through the course today, always same pretty quiet room, computer, etc., I failed the voice ID twice and was locked out. On Saturday at 1pm. Chat Help - '36 minute wait' then that window went away. I sent a Contact Us email... no reply yet four hours later. My insurance agent recommended this company. I regret it didn't occur to me to read reviews first! This explains the ½ price sale, because the other half will be spent in buying another course from them or another company.
Seemed like a great idea until I paid and tried completing the course. It kept freezing up, not allowing me to move to the next parts and I even got locked out after an incorrect answer to one of the questions. They fail to tell you if you miss any of the security questions or answer a question incorrectly you're Done!, locked out, game over! They were not able to allow me to pick up where I left off so I had to start from the beginning after almost 3 hours spent taking the class. They also would not issue a refund so I started at the beginning again. 9+ hours later I completed the course. Never again!, not even if it was FREE! I hope I actually receive the certificate in the mail, but I'm not counting on it. Please, please, please don't abuse yourself by taking this class. The in-person classes are so much easier even though you have to physically go there. No biometric BS, no glitchy software, no continual restarting from the beginning if you have a problem or if you answer a question incorrectly. You must
I took this course over a Month ago and have yet to receive my certificate. I sent a message to the customer service and they never answered me. I tried to log on to the site to print my certificate and I was locked out. They don't let you print it out when your done! Save yourself the trouble and find a different company.
After I paid for my course I went to log in to start, the screen would not let me past the log in claiming my info was wrong. I waited for 3 hours for live chat that said wait time was 11 min. I sent an email asking for my money back, next is BBB, and after that will be legal action to file a class action lawsuit for taking people money for services not rendered.
Their voice authentication system is just simply not working, theyll lock you up even you didnt breath correctly, then you get suspended, forced to wait 20+ min to live chat or call them, this is a total failure and a joke, avoid this trash if you can
They've changed the course so much. If you answer the security questions wrong, they block you out and expect you to reregister and pay again every time, no matter where you are in the course. I have reached module 4 and three courses to go, they blocked me after I failed security questions. I believe I answered the right security question-the color of car. Ask me to re-register the course and start from the beginning. This is totally unfair for the students to reregister the course and start from the beginning. Please don't take this online course. Lock me out after there 3 homemade security questions of there. Thanks www.newyorksafetycouncil.com. They don't send anything to your email just 3 random security questions no password. Just steal your money.
Please don't wast time. They don't have any customer service at all. They have big time system error for Voice biometric checking system. In the middle of course they will lock you out and you never able to talk with them.
DO NOT use this NYS National Safety Council Driver Safety Course. I was just finishing up Module 3 very long so was tired and I for some stupid reason answered 2 security questions wrong. So they locked me out. So instead of reverifying my identity and letting me back in they say I have to pay for a new course and start over again. How Absurd! This is a money making scam and completely unfair. Do Not under any circumstances take this course find another!
Ripoff?.you must fill out the survey to start the course.if you fail one of the modules you have to reregister again and pay a new registration fees.the course contains error your timer is off meaning if you are listening the recorder and it it done talking you have to wait few minutes for the timer to finish before you answer the question.you waist half your time listening to statistics vs learning.and most of the questions are about how many and how much vs education how to avoid accident and learn safety.I think the whole industries are about their pockets vs reduction of accidents or the safety of the people
I never even answered a question on the 1st quiz and they failed me and locked me out. I waited hours for a reponce on CHAT but never got one. I think this is a scam! I wish I could have rated 0 stars!
Stay away from this company, they don't answer the call, log you out. I couldn't log in for three days and after finally logging in on my phone, they opped a questions that I couldn't even read. I clicked on the wrong button and the blocked me out asking me to reregister. Shameful company. STAY AWAY, try "I drive Safely" company, same price much better services
I purchased this and caught COVID. I had 3 days left to complete my online course and I was only 4 chapters away from finishing… for them to lock me out of my account before my time was allotted? A SCAM. I had 3 days left to finish. I contacted customer service and that wasn't even helpful. This company is a SCAM. I got conned out of the time I had left. I refuse to repay for this crappy service.
I would use any other means to complete this course other than this site, kept crashing, stopping, timer was off, fast forwarded and slowed down. Not good! Stay away.
After paying for the course and midway through it - I failed 1 question 3 times and was told am blocked from course and have to pay for it AGAIN and take it all from beginning over AGAIN. This is a scam and their online reviews are totally FALSE on their site - AVOID this course - instead of saving money it is making me pay for course over and over again if you get any question wrong. Somehow the search algorithm keeps showing this course at the top - I wish this review would show with it to tell people that this course will just keep taking your money if you don't get all the questions right.
