Why would I trust a company to deliver news to me when I can't even trust them not to forcibly download their app on my phone when I try to exit out from an ad? I hate this app, I hate this company, and I will uninstall and rewrite the bad reviews they keep deleting until they leave them up and leave my storage alone.

As an independent journalist, my stories do not fit into what orthodox local media publishes, but NewsBreak has been rating my content value very high. Stories I write that would find a hard time getting into locally controlled local media are streaming with extra-large images on NewsBreak in my local stream, filled with local mainstream media stories. I believe that is related to the high CV rating that NewsBreak has been giving my stories, so you can tell which types of stories NewsBreak is encouraging by the image size.

Like all content-provider portals, NewsBreak is learning as it goes and can only be as good as the content submitted to it. On those terms, it can shake up our world. It seems to be giving different voices- from outside the mainstream, a chance to be part of the dialogue, but I did not even receive a response to the first call to applications and only got with a link that bypassed the application process. Now that NewsBreak has loosened up its application process- let's see what happens.

The News Break App is nothing short of a racist's paradise, where bigots can roam free and shout from the rooftops how much they hate black people without facing any consequences. Terms of use? Community guideline enforcement? Throw that out the window! They don't do that there! Want to call for a mass genocide on an entire race of people? Want to bully people who have lost family members to COVID-19 or trash talk innocent children who did nothing but to be born with a different skin color than white? Look no further than the News Break App! People can report racists all they want! News Break won't do anything about it!

Never in my life have I seen such hate-filled, threatening, racist, cruel, vile, & disgusting "news" site. The disdain people show for their fellow man actually hurts my heart, my head, & leaves my mouth hanging open. It is. It's indescribable. I downloaded it for "the local news" but as soon as I complete this? The filth will be off of my phone. Please. Do yourself a favour & pass this site up. I believe you'll thank me. Oh, they used to have a "report" button for the people so far out of control, but apparently they enjoy the mud-slinging from the dregs of society, they took it off. They told me that I don't have to read it & I can block individuals whose opinion differs from my own. I went to look up a local story this morning & THIS (see photos) is what you'll read with no means to report it. Take care & stay safe.

They are not properly handling comments that are full of hate towards, jews, whites, and blacks. They will not handle these comments that are breeding hate and violence. They in my opinion are adding to the racial tension without any regard for the consequences. Ppl that ive known for years that were good loving ppl being turned racist reading hateful horrible comments one after the other spreading fear. Ive seen comments of love and acceptance turned into threats, I've seen ppl teaming up calling peaceful ppl crackers white devils chalky inbred pecker wood. This is supposed to be a place of peaceful debate not a training ground for white and back surpremisists. The hate needs to stop on both sides DO SOMETHING

News Break comment section on articles should have strict guidelines for posting. It is a breeding ground for racism and hate. News Break is asking for trouble if guidelines are not put in place to restrict abuse and racism.

Web articles only give you the first half paragraph of the story, then give you a "read more" button

When you tap the button, it leads to the App Store to download the app, with no option to continue the article in the browser, so you have to download the app to continue

I have enough news apps as it is on my phone and don't need NewsBreak taking up space and giving me yet more notifications to bug me, yet I would still like to actually read the articles

Now I can understand if there were a limit to how many articles I can read a day without the app (say 1~3 a day), and if I want to read more, then I would have to download the app, but really, I can't even read one full article?

What bothers me the most about it is my mother, who does have the app, sends me articles she wants me to read and discuss them with her, but I can't even read them, and I'm not downloading the app just so I can

This app is owned by Chinese nationals and run by these nationals and politically biased journalists and media. There articles primarily focus on instigating racial tensions in the US. I have read many articles about the new termed Karen for white women that have somehow attacked black people verbally and some incidents of throwing things at them. These articles are fake. How in the world would these reporters happen to come along and vidoe such events as often as they do. Newsbreak has many other similar type of ficticious stories designed to enrage the American public for the purpose of the Communist Chinese Goverment. I have also written many comments on Newsbreak and they have pulled the plug on news for me. Im not going with their agenda. The blacking out if screens and ads that pop up are used not just for advertisement but to censor. Your agenda is measured and if not in their desire they eliminate access to news by blacking the screen and other measures including cutting off the news feed. Newsbreak is a communist run propaganda outlet designed to create turmoil in countries other than Chins.

Thus is a very poor site. The news mostly has a left leaning view point. In addition this site offers a classified section. I posted an item there and is this is written there are two inquires which the site does not permit me to reply to. Same goes with the mobile app for Android. It is not possible to reply to the inquiries or set my home location. The app says I am in California when I live in Texas. And the strangest think is both the web page are using the exact same sign in but shows one with the correct city and the other where ever.
