Quote was more expensive then all others received, including with the '25% off'. Without the supposed '25% off' quote would have come in at more than $10,000 more than all other quotes.

Salesman used false and misleading information to get the job, including stating things could be done when, if he had been a roofer and checked himself, he would have know it wasn't possible; as well as lying about the products being used. I am now out of pocket more $$ onto of the expensive quote.

Ask for an itemised quote!

Can't fault the workmanship of the contractors (Moore Roofing).

I contacted Newcastle Roofing Professionals to assess hail damage to my roof and to provide a quote for insurance. They were very keen and called me weekly while my claim was going through. I received the money from my insurer and then NRP emailed me a new quote that was around $7K more. Their reasoning was that whoever measured up for the scaffolding didn't do it properly and they'd have to use a crane and more scaffolding. Going with another company now who will do the job for the price I was originally quoted, PLUS it includes insulation and heavier gauge Clip Lock. My next door neighbour faced the exact same situation with NRP and we are now both going with the new company. Not a good experience with NRP!
