I saw most people having trouble in the UK and Canada. I thought I was ok to order US, I was wrong. I ordered a $120 pair of shoes. They took my money and it said order confirmed. 5 minutes later my order was canceled. They have my money and cannot give it back. They said they will send me a voucher of the amount they charged, only good for new balance. Then they said, it "should" be there within 7 days. F**K New Balance!
I've worn a lot of sneakers in my life, but their shoes truly stand out in terms of support, comfort, and durability. It is my third pair from NB and it's always a good choice!
I purchased a pair of New Balance 1540v3 in September 2022, after six months and over $180.00 the sneakers toe curled up to the point they would cause pain when wearing them. I went on line and contacted their customer care representative and they referred me to the store where I purchased them. Well, Well the response I received was not what I expected from a customer focused organization.
First, the representative (Mark McCauslin) with an attitude told me this was a rocker sneaker and there was nothing wrong.
So I asked him to compare this to one they have in stock, he refused.
Then he went on to say that this store was an "independent store" and went on to say there is nothing he can do to resolve this problem.
I believe he was putting his profits over customer satisfaction and if this is how franchises support New Balance. The store I went to was New Balance Store at 315 N. Cattlemen Rd., Suite 1, Sarasota, FL *******. I contacted the customer care representative AGAIN, and they replied there is nothing they can do about it. So if you are planning on purchasing a New Balance produce, Don't it will fall apart and you will be out all your hard earned money.
I will not be ordering from.new balance canada anymore. Their customer service is awful. Their tracking for orders is horrendous. I've been trying to find out for 3 days what courier they use so I can attempt to properly track my order as the link they gave me simply Says shipped...IF I chose to order anymore new balance products it will be thru a local.shop. Not this joke of a website.
I went on line to order a pair of New Balance 1080. I saw where they offer a military discount, so just like other site you have to go through IDme. I received a code from IDme, and try to apply it. Well you can figure the rest, no discount these shoes are excluded from promos and discount. So, I search New Balance site to see what shoes are excluded, the list is endless it looks like every pair of tennis shoes were excluded from the promo. Just be honest New Balance you do not offer a military discount. This is a scam..
I just wanted to buy NB model 327, but after checking and reading such terrible opinions about NB, I was afraid that they cheat people! I wonder why they are still on the site about stealing from people! I believe that all affected customers should collectively file a lawsuit against NB! This company should face the consequences and pay a heavy fine for stealing from people knowingly! I am so sorry for all of you that you have been treated badly! Please consider a class action lawsuit! Don't leave this case! You need to publicize this case because the NB company feels unpunished in what it does!

I bought these cute but expensive shoes 3 years ago (pink w/ gray trim... Susan Komen) and put them in the closet with other shoes until I needed them in the future. Three years later, I was looking thru my shoes and re-discovered these. I took the tags off and wore them yesterday. Within an hour they started breaking down on the foam part of the sole. Approximately 4 hours later they were so disintegrated that I had to take them off. Not what I was expecting because this is a supposedly high-end shoe. I called customer service today and because they sat for three years, they could care less. I told them that other brands have sat longer & Ive worn them no problem. I also have other brands that I've owned for 25 - 30 years that don't disintegrate/breakdown. She said she can't speak for other brands, but because NB sat there's nothing they can do. I advised her that my home is air conditioned & the shoes were kept in a nice box, inside a larger plastic tote box. She invited me to go purchase another pair at my convenience. I told her that I would never ever purchase this brand again since they fall apart faster than a crappy pair from Walmart. I would also advise my friends to avoid this brand also.
The photos clearly show the wear after less than 3 weeks of use. Contact with New Balance was a waste of time.

If you're thinking of buying a pair of New Balance trainers, you'd do well to familiarise yourself with their customer service policies first.
My Sons £160 Birthday present, Fresh Foam Hierro v6 GTX with an 4.7 review rating on their site, had holes on the sides and a collapsed toe box after a little over ONE weeks wear.
New Balance UK flatly refused to offer anything more than 50% refund and stated that they NEVER offer exchanges, even for faulty goods see photo. This after pointing out that my statutory rights entitle me to a repair, replacement or refund if less than 30 days. It appears that they do not adhere to this law.
Instead, within their reviews, they enter you into a raffle to win another pair of their trainers and wish you a lovely day.
There are so many complaints about New Balance quality and/or their customer service on independent review sites too and a more realistic 1.5 rating (I so wish I'd checked first. Please take the time).
You have a lovely day New Balance, with my £80 and my son gets to keep his tatty new trainers.
I don't know about you but this was a big spend for me :( and I'm left feeling bullied by a 'Fiercly Independent' Company.
My review has yet to be published on their site. I'll continue meanwhile to raise awareness wherever possible.
If you must have NB trainers, my advice is to order them through a reputable company and not direct.
I'm reporting NB to trading standards and urge the many others to do the same. It's just an online form.

They sent me the wrong items and received the items back and informed me it would be 21 days before I could get my money back $182 and they were rude.
My first's time buying New Balance 840 shoes, I went to the store for the right sizing and fitting of the shoe. I have had them less than 3 months, I already have a holes forming in the top front mesh. On the NB website they cover themselves and blame the buyer for not getting the right size, width, toe box etc. I got fitted in the NB store in Victoria. If they know this will happen why don't they change the mesh to something else. My first time and last time getting new balance shoes. I will go back to my Merrell's no holes in them this will be my third pair.
Bot this model at New Balance physical store in Singapore. Unf the shoe base has issue. Its very slippery especially on wet floor. It had caused me to slipped and fell 2 times. Wrote to customer care team to ask for refund but nbody bother to rectify my issue. Won't purchase New Balance Sport shoe anymore.
I wear a 6E shoe. I have been wearing new balance cross trainers for 20 years. Their last version of a 6E cross trainer was the 624 which was a fairly neutral shoe. They have discontinued the 624 and substituted an 857 as their only cross trainer to come in a 6E. Unfortunately, the 857 works for correcting pronation problems, whereas I have a supination problem which is the opposite of pronation. I will now begin my quest to find shoes other than new balance which no longer fit my feet. Sad
I've been buying New Balance for the last 13 to 14 years. My shoes typically last a few years (3-4). My last 2 pairs haven't quite made it to the one year mark before the bottoms have started coming off. I thought it was probably an isolated issue the first time but 2 in a row… Time to try something else.
Bought a pair fuelcell the New Balance online store and the outsole started to peel off after 3 months. Called the help line and the lady sent me a ticket so I can send back the shows. She told me that the amount was going to back on to my credit card. New Balance also sent me an email to confirm what she said. That night I was at a New Balance store and decided to buy another pair, thinking my return was going back onto my credit card. The next day I get an email from New Balance and they sent me an e-gift. So a week after, I called New Balance and told me that they can't put the money back onto my credit card because it had been 45 days. I told them that's not the information I was told and sent to me. They said I was misinformed but they weren't going to correct their mistakes. So now I'm stuck with an e-gift from a shoe company that doesn't understand business and nothing to do with anymore.
I bought 2 pairs of New Balance and the quality is so poor that I got foot pain so bad I had to go to a PT and chiropractor. When I replaced them with Hoka, I felt immediate relief. I will never go back to New Balance because they cost me a fortune in expenses.
I have decided to move on from New Balance. Their shoe comfort and fit have declined markedly sine I first started wearing them 20 years ago.
My family have been longtime NB wearers. Love the shoes but be aware of false/hidden claims on their website if you order through there. My 9 yr old daughter has recently experienced severe foot pain. The Dr recommended trying new shoes (we had tried a different shoe for start of school yr) since there was nothing on X-rays. So loving NB we ordered new shoes that night and paid $25 for 1 day UPS to get them ASAP. So here we are two days later and the shoes haven't even shipped yet. When I called customer service to find out what happened they let me know that the shipping is 1 day but they have 2 days on top of that to prepare the order! What? Two days to get shoes out of the warehouse and put them in shipping container? Anyway, I told them I never saw that and if I knew I would have just gone to the NB store the next day instead of ordering online. They said it was in the fine print on order summary page and since it is there they wouldn't even refund me the money I paid for 1 day. Overall just a terrible experience and no empathy as I now have to watch my daughter hobble around in old school shoes (because they have to be white) that are too tight. I will never order from NB online again and going forward I'll be looking more closely at other brands.
