Was a bit confused about why I would also get a message from the domain seller and be asked to create an account there and then when I did that did not find my domain there but anyway representative explained this to me
Then I had difficulties with your telephone verification system but the chat feature on the side was helpful-your automated attendant though should immediately offer the chance to speak to a real person I mean email with a real person if they can't solve the problem that was a bit frustrating
So getting everything into place has taken quite a bit longer than I had anticipated about 3 to 4 hours but at least I seem to have everything set up and am now going to start building my 1st website

Seeing a monthly account charge was for website security when I do not hold a website domain at Register.com. I contacted them to be told I have a few weeks to request a refund. I repeatedly stated I did not order the service and that it must be an internal error to no avail. Register.com may add small charges to accounts and then refuse to return the monies.
Very hard to download pic to web site not happy with web.com sign up an paid for site it been for months an can't get help

Website still not up. Emails: told that transfer would not affect emails yet it was down for two days affecting my business. Told 4 different things by four different reps. Paid for a service for someone to log onto my computer to fix the program but told that the service I paid for was not for the repairs I needed. NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER SO FAR.

Editing web sites is a pain. You would think it would be as easy as "drop photo here", but it is not. I cannot easily create web pages and connect them to the right page. You would think i could create the page and link it up, but it doesn't even work like that.

I find the websites quite easy to build on my own however, I'm not new at using this service and perhaps that's why I feel such ease in doing so, but I also must add that the first time I used this website, it wasn't at all difficult to catch on to.

Answer: We are located in Australia and trying to make contact is virtually impossible. They don't respond to emails, Calling them is an expensive international phone call, The time zone is completely different so I had to call at some ungodly hour of the morning, they are not friendly and find dealing with customers a big pain. They offer no real value and have no idea of what customer service is.
Answer: I had to ring my credit card company and get them to stop the payment
Answer: I was working with a consultant from the Small Business Development Center when I began my business. She advised me to register my LLC and then to go to Register.com to buy the domain name before anyone else could. Later on, she suggested Register when I was looking for hosting.
