The company's reputation is marked by a stark divide in customer experiences. On one hand, some clients commend the quality of specific services, particularly in web design and SEO assistance, highlighting instances of exceptional customer support. However, a significant number of reviews reveal persistent issues, including slow response times, inadequate technical support, and billing disputes, which contribute to a growing sense of frustration among long-term users. Overall, while there are positive interactions, the prevailing sentiment underscores a troubling decline in service quality and reliability, prompting many customers to seek alternatives.

I am having issues to set up my website and email because there is no clear explanations with steps how to do it and i'm not experienced at all creating websites. Please help me
I have purchased SL certificate on Dec 9th. It is now the 22nd and my website still says "Not secure". It says it's in validation mode, whatever that means. I called twice and it is still not clear to me what I have to do to "validate" or activate this account.
Then there is the SEO service. I thought I hired web.com to manage my SEO, but in activating my account it asks me how many hours I would like to dedicate to that service. I'm so confused! And I have not received a "welcome phone call, which I was supposed to receive in 10 days. This is ridiculous and I'm so in the dark!
I would like a lot more customer support. Last time I called, they said they couldn't help me and all I wanted to do was understand the SEO Optimization grader and figure out why my Simple Marketing package was discontinued. The Support page is also not the helpful for a first-time website builder.
Difficult to understand all the proper set up steps when I am not at all tech savvy
The chat help is terrible. It is slow and inefficient. Frustrating and simply bad business. Been on resolving an issue for an hour and a half so far...
I have been really pleased with the service I have received from Domain.com...
My DNS records that had been set up and working all last year were suddenly unavailable.
I wrote to support 3 times and was told each time that I had to wait! During this time, my website and email didn't work. I waited a very long time while they updated the DNS records each time, and the last time I asked for compensation because if I have had my records redone a third time, it means the staff did a bad job.
Disgusting service, bypass it!
If you value your time don't even bother dealing with their customer service team to remedy any kind of issue. I have been using their services for 15 years and they have transferred their basic tier of customer support overseas. To speak to anyone with any actual information or that can be helpful it takes hours. I've lost hours of my life dealing with their screw ups. I just canceled my services with them, it's better to have no active website than deal with this lack of support. What an utter joke. And now after doing more research their services are MASSIVELY overpriced
Very difficult to get service. I can call Go Daddy and they pick up the phone. You guys don't even HAVE a phone!
Difficult to get assistance and not just passed off.
Bad customer service and platform is not good any more
My website is down and support has been useless in helping get it back up.
Prices are more expensive than on other sites and the website is unclear and really slow
I wish things were a little easier to figure out, given I have no web site building knowledge, but for the most part, things aren't too hard to figure out.
There need to be more options on editing a webpage, in terms of pages, links, maps and layouts. Please this needs an update as my interests are invested on the domain.
Building the site was pretty good although there were some things would like to add and don't know how. I am not tech savy so that piece pretty good however, i can't find the site now and not sure why or how and can't find a solution in the help stuff...
Very comprehensive service menu, easy site navigation and generous forgiveness for overdue domain renewal.
Why no support? Why keep asking how to help. But when customer need help. You just disappear!
Answer: We are located in Australia and trying to make contact is virtually impossible. They don't respond to emails, Calling them is an expensive international phone call, The time zone is completely different so I had to call at some ungodly hour of the morning, they are not friendly and find dealing with customers a big pain. They offer no real value and have no idea of what customer service is.
Answer: I had to ring my credit card company and get them to stop the payment
Answer: I was working with a consultant from the Small Business Development Center when I began my business. She advised me to register my LLC and then to go to Register.com to buy the domain name before anyone else could. Later on, she suggested Register when I was looking for hosting.
