Don't like thumbs up and thumbs down movie reviews. I like five stars. Period makes it much more difficult to find a movie on Netflix site. Looking for alternative. This is enough to make me move. We've been an avid Netflix subscriber for many many years, need to rethink that now
I strongly dislike the thumbs up and thumbs down option. Why did they have to replace the ratings? It made finding a quality movie much easier. My favorite movies that I keep on my list have a match rate of 60 percent or lower. I find the new rating system ineffective.
I just recently changed my plan with netflix to the standard with ads, and to my surprise, you can only watch certain things due to "licensing restrictions". I have a very hard time believing this, I think netflix is just greedy and doesn't want the viewers with cheaper plans to watch everything. I could be wrong, but with other streaming services like hulu, you can watch anything with the ads plan. Netflix's prices have become outrageous recently and along with the selection, I don't think Netflix will last very long. Also, with the thing that two different households can't share the same account is utterly ridiculous. Steaming services are becoming almost as bad as cable anymore. I don't understand how licensing restrictions can stop you from watching certain things with ads. I am very seriously considering getting rid of Netflix, if you are considering getting it, don't. It is a massive waste of money and there isn't even anything good on there to watch anymore.
I love Netflix and have been a customer with them from the very beginning. Would give 5 stars if they would stop removing so many of the shows they have on there. One day my son is watching every episode of curious george, the next day they're gone! What the heck.
Your new rule 1 account per household now inspired my family and all our friends to cancel our subscription. We barely were holding on as it was and you found a way to make it worse. Definitely went from the best to now the worst streaming app officially. Congratulations you suck
Had Netflix a long time, when my daughter moved out she also was able to watch plus we can watch on 3 TVs. After the huge changes were made, they increased the prices, had major restrictions how many TVs you can watch on in one house. And no longer allow a family member who moved out to watch. They really suck! At least have reasonable prices if you only allow it to be watched on one tv in the same house. No other streaming apps are like this.
I've been a subscriber for years. Plenty of choice for movies and television shows you can watch from the comfort of your own couch with a low, affordable monthly subscription fee. Visit website for more details.
I've had Netflix since its inception when the company mailed DVDs to customers who would mail those DVDs back after reviewing. The process would on like that until streaming became the only available membership package. I'd say that Netflix is a great and pioneering company. In all the years I've been a customer, I cannot remember any dissatisfaction for the company or its services. The only reason I did not give it a t star rating is because it has removed programming without notice to the customer which can be frustrating.
I would give NEtflix a negative if I could. Everything is 10+ years old, not very interesting content, great for kids, streaming ia constantly interrupted, and it constantly (every half and hour) asks "are you still watching"? Super annoying... I do NOT recommend Netflix.
No other explanation needed really, you get everything you need.
Only negative is that you are sometimes waiting a while for some seasons to come out when already available. This is down to contracts with suppliers however so take with a pinch of salt.
It was once a great platform, its now full of 'b' grade foreign movies and the standards have fallen so far most of the 'netflix' created content resembles porn or horror. 5 to 10 years ago it was #1, now its just another service
Be careful of subscribing to Netflix. They are not only very slow but Much more importantly they make it practically impossible to unsubscribe!
If you decide to subscribe I suggest you only do so with Google play.
Good luck!

I love the convenience of Netflix. Their app was one of the first things I downloaded when I installed my new Smart TV. However, I had to deduct a star because I am constantly having an issue with the app starting up or my movies/shows playing. The bar loads half way and then I get an error message. I thought it was my connection to the internet at first, but everything else is always working as it should.
Netflix continues to raise their prices when they were meant to be the most affordable?! That's what they advertised. They let you have more than four profiles and now say people outside of the household can't use the same Netflix account so what's the point of having a family plan you're going to charge people that much and change up the rules. And then they take off the reviews you can't write a review on Netflix anymore. They clearly make more than enough off people now they're trying to be shady as f*** to get more money seriously people need to stop supporting Netflix. They were meant to be the most affordable now they're changing up all the rules and are the most expensive. And they don't even have that good of shows or movies, they're all old. Disney plus is way better. Can watch movies even when they are still in theater or just came out of theater. Netflix thinks they're hot $#*! thinking people are going to be ok with this. Ha done giving them my money
Netflix is a good source of entertainment when you are ready to settle down for the night with nothing else to do. I have to admit I spend about 20 sometimes 30 minutes scrolling through the titles looking for something before I settle on the movie, and then sometimes end up dumping it. I wish there was a way for it to be more organized. They just throw up movies and expect you to just know what they are all about. Better organization. It seems messy to me.
I do love Netflix and the convenience it provides... I just wish once a movie or TV series was available, it would stay that way. I got all the way to the last season of an older show, only to find out they removed it before I could finish it. But it's still worth the price in my book.
I recommend netflix. You can order movies and they DO come quickly. You don't have to pay any postage to send it back in its own package. And their are plenty of movies to choose from a bunch of categories. My favorite are the documentaries from all different categories which are very very informative. So with the price of gas netflix is well worth it saving the trip of running back n forth to get your movie and then BLAH having to take it back.
Designated Survivor began as a great movie with presidential candidate showing great integrity, while also showing how politics work. Then all of a sudden story line is including sexual content explicit, men and women and men with men. I thought it might be great to watch with kids., But no longer. Too many unnecessary, inappropriate content.
I recently experienced awful service from Netflix where i was being charged twice a month. Upon calling they told me that my email address was changed i asked for them to refund me for the second payment that had been taken out for the last three months and they only refunded me one payment stating ii had to go through my bank. However they refused to acknowledge it was there error and credit my account. Think twice and review your payments with them.
Less expensive than cable, no excruciating advertisements, watch when you want. I wish they had a greater selection of items to stream, but for the price it is a good service that gives a good video quality based off of the quality of your internet connection. Volume is often on the low end, so you will probably need to turn your volume up higher than with some other video sources, but that is easy enough to do.
Answer: They do not, but he can listen to stand up shows I guess
Answer: Ohh finally someone thats having the same problem... Netflix always blames my Wi-Fi but, I know thats not the problem. Considering canceling.
The company has a mixed reputation, with some customers appreciating its extensive library of content and user-friendly interface, which enhances the viewing experience. However, numerous complaints highlight significant dissatisfaction with rising subscription costs, technical issues like slow loading times, and customer service inadequacies. Many users express frustration over billing problems and the perceived decline in content quality, particularly regarding Netflix originals. Overall, while the platform remains popular for its variety, the growing concerns about service reliability and customer support suggest a need for improvement to retain loyal customers.
