I don't get it- you can watch shows on Netflix as they air i. E Designated Survivor and yet Netflix is always 1 or 2 seasons behind on other really good shows i. E Line of Duty.
Thats my only gripe.
Within a month of being with netflix I have already got bored of non up to date movies and doctor who and call the midwife are missing episodes which were aired 2 years ago so can't keep up to date with shows I like to watch.
More up to date decent movies on Now TV and Amazon prime but Netflix is the only one with good tv shows but like I say they aren't up to date.
We purchased our new pvr which has netflix installed in it olso a new samsung 4k tv which also has netflix easay to use great programs and very affordable every one should have a must. We love it so much great on you netflix
People that can't afford a 100 dollar month Netflix account join a family member's account then dumb stupid Netflix just kicks u off cause they wanna be cute and slick and kick people off that's some real cheesy crap Netflix I'm not gonna watch Netflix no more
I love NETFLIX i will never have cable in my life as long as netflix is still running and if it ever shuts down i'll rally the entire country to protest in the streets until we get our most beloved and addictive thing back in our lives!
After all this time with Netflix I can almost say I am completely bored with the movie and show selections. Amazon Prime, Netflix, Comcast, HULU all have the same line up of streaming shows and everything I actually want to see is never available or is DVD or purchase demand only. So great for making every B-C movie available for streaming and all the a listers and actual "good" movies only rental and DVD plan accessible. Kudos to all the movie stream platforms for figuring out they can all deliver the same free crap movies for money.
I am so fed up with Netflix new lineup. All I ever get is foreign movies. Some are okay. Im about to cancel my subscription though if I dobt start seeing more English movies.
I use Netflix both as a streaming and as a rent-dvds-at-home service. Overall, it's well worth the money for me, but there are negative aspects. Read on...
Streaming:
-- PLUS: Easy interface, works on multiple devices (tablet, phone, Windows and Mac computers, gaming systems), lots of shows/movies to watch.
-- MINUS: You have to wait until the dvds have been out for a while before they show up on streaming, which means that you can't watch the latest episode of XXXXX that aired last week. Their entire catalog isn't available for streaming. NCIS, for example, is not available streaming.
DVD rental:
-- PLUS: Lots more selection than streaming, very easy to ship back to Netflix since each disc comes in a returnable package, turn around time on DVDs is very fast.
-- MINUS: Some DVDs in sets are no longer available, which makes it impossible to watch a whole series. For example, season 2 of XXXXX show may have discs 2,4 & 5 permanently missing.
Take the will smith movies off of hold their my favorites and a rare variety on Netflix because Netflix is full of BORING shows and the monthly fee doesnt go well with the lack if entertainment Netflix has displayed lately. Don't act like you guys can afford to be picky your app is getting BORING.
We recently got rid of our cable because we spent more time enjoying Netflix. I love the variety and or kids love being able to watch some of the retro programs that I watched as a child.
Unfortunately since I got Netflix in 2016, it seems as if the streaming service Netflix has gone down hill canceling almost every new tv show they come out with, rarely adding new shows or movies and as said above they cancel everything they add And Upper the price for no justifications.
This is best online TV service ever. I watch it anywhere where internet is available. I’m saving money on additional TV with netflix. The price is low for all TV channels they offer
Everytime I come home to watch it at like 5 in the morning when literally streaming in my household is non existent... It never works even though I pay for it. Just sad.
Season 5: Way too much time has passed to remember or follow the story. So far Season 5 is boring (just finished episode 2). It's too bad. I was a big a fan.
Netflix go find a dictionary and look up the word VARIETY! Oh and if you do grace us foolish enough to waste $120/year on your service with a "new" movie/show, it's something that NO ONE wants to watch. Do yourselves a favor and Google "Top Ten Movies of 2016" and vwalah, there's something worth $120 a year!!!
Ever since Netflix appeard, I have been a memeber. It is my most favorite online membership I have! We have the family package, so each of our family members can watch what they like on either their Ipads, TVs, or cell phones and on anything that you can stream the internet. I watch Series, Movies, Documentals, National geographics, learning, investigating, recitals, cartoons, international movies and anything you want to watch. You'll never be bored of watching or streaming through their choises. I've never had a problem with them, so I have no Idea how their customer service is. It is something that I really recommend to have! I don't think anybody can regret having Netflix. Oh, and one more thing for people who are questioning in subscribing, they don't have a contract, so you can stop whenever you want.
Their library has all but disappeared compared to when I joined a few years ago. It looks like they have lots of content still, but my only language is English, and when you start looking at things you find over half the shows in other languages, most with english subtitles. Tried watching a few, very hard to follow most shows cant read and watch at same time. This is clearly intentional and there is no way to search for shows in your language. Makes the service marginal at best. In past they had a huge library of English TV series and movies, most of which are gone now. I was watching a few series only to have them be deleted while I was part way through. I'd try Flixtor.tv (I have no affiliation)which has more english language content and has a free option with no ads.
2 stars instead of 1 because Netflix does have some English content, and some Netflix made content (although most of the "Netflix Original" is non English.) If they did have a way to search for shows actually in the language you speak most of the content would disappear from the search screens. Very sad trend.
They couldnt even help me get somone of my account that said that i need to know card nu mbers but i lost it so i $#*!ing had to cancel all cards never gonna use netflix again
They rely on money and give us free trials unless credit card numbers are put in. I just want to try it and I dont have any money! This is bullcrap anyways
Answer: They do not, but he can listen to stand up shows I guess
Answer: Ohh finally someone thats having the same problem... Netflix always blames my Wi-Fi but, I know thats not the problem. Considering canceling.
The company has a mixed reputation, with some customers appreciating its extensive library of content and user-friendly interface, which enhances the viewing experience. However, numerous complaints highlight significant dissatisfaction with rising subscription costs, technical issues like slow loading times, and customer service inadequacies. Many users express frustration over billing problems and the perceived decline in content quality, particularly regarding Netflix originals. Overall, while the platform remains popular for its variety, the growing concerns about service reliability and customer support suggest a need for improvement to retain loyal customers.
