I was really excited for this purchase, I bought a 3-4 foot pear tree... what arrived was a 3/8" of a inch stick(there was a tag that said 3/8" on the trunk) with maybe 20 leaves on it and barely any root development... plus this was not an inexpensive purchase... personally I feel scammed... I will NOT be reccomending them to anyone or be a repeat customer.
The maple tree I ordered died shortly after I planted it according to their instructions. The company refused to honor a warrantee but would have been happy to let me buy more plant material at full price plus shipping fees. Do not order from this company if you expect a warrantee. Mr ddk.
I ordered a Tomcot apricot tree from Nature Hills this spring. It arrived in less than two weeks and still looks good a month after planting. I ordered fruit trees from two other sites this year, and the Nature Hills order was the best by far.
They chopped the trees in half, including the branches, straight across the top, to jam them into the box. There were 2 trees in the box, put into the box at opposite ends so that no matter how the box sat, one tree was always going to be upside down. The box was full of dirt and the trees were damaged and broken beyond belief when we got them. Then we called customer service, they were rude, kept interrupting, and insisted the chopped up trees and broken branches were "a healthy pruning". We have 3 acres of land to plant trees on and will be buying them all elsewhere. Absolute waste of money and garbage customer service.
Grass plugs arrived promptly and in good condition. Followed directions to prepare holes for grass and separated the individual plugs and planted all 216 in a couple hours. To date (three weeks later), all of the grass is thriving and I'm satisfied with my purchase.
I have recieved a dead tree from them a year after placing my order. They are sending a replacement, which cost another $60. It says it shipped. No notice, no emails, no communication. This is a bad merchant. Buyer beware.
These people take your money knowing they do not have a product. They then want to access you a cancelation fee although it's been 1 month and no delivery in sight. They start with a lie about preparing takes 10 to 14 days then after that they come with a lie about weather when I checked ans weather waa a non factor. They are thrives ans I'm reporting to the attorney general and their local law envorcement.
I bought a peach tree last year ( Oct 2019) from Naturehills.com. I wasn't sure it would be ok to purchase a fruit tree in October since winter in NJ can be very cold sometimes but they assured me it will be ok. I bought the tree and the warranty just in case.
The tree produced some leaves this spring but had some red leaf curls on them. I contacted Naturehills they said as long as I just pick the leaves that are infected, the tree will be fine. Well, now my peach tree lost all leaves except 1-2 sick looking leaves. I asked Naturehills to either get my money back or send me a new healthy tree, they simply replied after 2 weeks saying they can't do anything because it was bought from last year. To my calculation, it has not been a year since we're only in July.
I bought 4 trees from this place and I still have a lot of yards to fill in with fruit trees but I'm not going to use this place to buy anything any more.
This nursery advertised a crape myrtle in 'tree form" and it showed up in bush form (multiple stems) despite having called twice to confirm. They simply suggested cutting off all the stems except one. In addition, it showed up with all the leaves dead and having fallen off in the box (plants in a box?). In addition to being stressed, the plant is also rootbound. If this were at a brick and mortar nursery, it would be disposed of since it would not be sellable. Do not trust this company or the products they advertise and sell. Go to Monrovia and have it delivered to your local nursery for pick up.
I was skeptical to order on line. My wife is against me going out to purchase items due to Covid, so I found Nature Hills Nursery online. I could not be more satisfied. I am familiar with Turkey Figs but not Celeste Figs. Received Celeste Fig Tree on time and in perfect shape. My plant actually was bearing fruit. I was told to anticipate medium size figs but these few figs were larger than my former Turkey Figs and are actually a bit sweeter. I can hardly wait for my plant to set, grow and produce abundant figs. I highly recommend Nature Hills Nursery. You will not be disappointed. Dr. John Swint, Macon, GA.
Was a little hesitant about purchasing from this place. The cost of the plants are high. However, they were delivered promptly and undamaged and were beautiful and very healthy looking. Ordering was a breeze.
I was a little hesitant about ordering live fruit trees online since the last time I had a bad experience from a different company. The fruit trees I received from Nature Hills Nursery were healthy, beautiful. And they were delivered in the right month. I will definitely use Nature Hills Nursery again!
I ordered a "Beauty of Moscow" lilac last summer. It did arrive alive, I'll give them that. It made it through winter and it's blooming now. And now I'm PISSED! Does that look ANYTHING like "Beauty of Moscow" to you? LOL What a ripoff! They stuck a tag on an I-don't-know-what with itty bitty flowers and think that nobody will notice! The third picture is a real "Beauty of Moscow" from the internet. All you get is "open a support ticket". You open one, but you can't view anything unless you made an account before. You make an account and it still doesn't let you view anything. It's like they go out of their way to block you from actually interacting with them. This was supposed to be a centerpiece in an arrangement I planted right in front of my house. Now what?
I have not had very good results from other on-line nurseries. So I gave IT one last try.
I saw the name: Nature Hills Nursery and loved it!
When my plant arrived; in a long pkg,, limbs wrapped, and with a sodded root ball, plus easy to read and follow instructions. I knew I had met my garden supplier!
Thanks so much from a new and loyal customer! Jane in Arkansas
I received an alert when the product I was interested in became available. The item i received was in excellent condition. I had to wait a few days before planting. It remained in great health. I am very pleased with my purchase. I read some earlier reviews which influenced my purchase. The product arrived healthy and I was very pleased. Thank you Nature Hills
The tree arrived with 1/3rd of the leaves fell off onto the pot it was sent in, 1/3rd fell off 1-2 weeks later. The rest of the leaves don't look like they are going to open up but not quite dead either. I immediately planted it in a pot twice as big and put it in a spot where it gets morning sun light and water it a lot for the first 3 days and 2-3 days thereafter. Keeping my fingers crossed that it will survive.
I received my trees in excellent shape. I bought the root conditioner and followed direction. Although, I read and know these will produce fruit in a couple of years, I am pleased with the shape the trees came in. I have had them in the ground for several months. My climate is hot and soil is sandy loam. So I need to water more. Plants came healthy and well packed. I am a satisified customer! Thank You Nature Hills Nursery.
I ordered two of the same trees and they both arrived in the same box. One was perfect, but the other one was ½ the size, lost leaves, and looked like it was ready to die. I sent a picture and was told "as long as it is green". Sure you can buy ½ dead plants at Lowes, however, they are discounted. I was hesitant to buy plants online, and this is exactly the reason why. I understand each plant is not exact, however, there is a huge contrast between the 2. Lesson learned: It is better to select a plant/tree from your local nursery.
I have purchased several trees of different variets and have had great luck with all of them. The Black Hills spruce came as promised and are beautiful! I have had nothing but good experiences with this company over two years.

I ordered four hydrangea plants and I absolutely love them! The plants were in terrific condition when I received them and they have done very well after I planted them. I would highly recommend this Nursery and will definitely use them again.
Answer: THEIR website looks awesome! Thought I would pay a little more for better product! Boy was I wrong! A company that charges you if the tree/plant dies is crooked! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY
Answer: We got ahold of customer service with no problem whatsoever
Answer: Its not, emailed over 5 times, called like crazy, and they don't want to help you once you place a order they have your money your not getting it back. Its not like other companies in Nebraska they suck and cheat you!
Answer: Lowes online garden. Great service large selection fast delivery
Answer: Legit I guess just terrible customer service! I will never order from this company again! I still don't have my money back!
Answer: They said they'd wait for more pics of dead trees I received. Must be a scripted moron customer service rep. They send inferior trees and do not do good on them. I learned they are a drop ship company on top of it. Do not believe are positive reviews you see on them. Not real.
