I purchased a Tropicana hybrid tea rose and wasn't sure what to expect as it was my first time purchasing a plant online. It shipped from Oregon to Kansas and arrived in pristine condition...very well-packaged! I planted the rose bush on September 6th and was just hoping to establish the plant in the ground prior to the fall weather getting colder, but less than a month later the rose bush has almost doubled in size and actually has several rosebuds about to bloom! I'm very happy with my purchase and plan to buy from Nature Hills again in the future!

I always wanted a red Crepe Myrtle and ordered one from Nature Hills and it arrived intact with no broken limbs. I've ordered from Nature Hills before and had no problems, and plants have done well. I'm very satisfied with ordering from Nature Hills and will again!

I started to place a large order online - as soon as I put in my CC info, the site wouldn't let me make any changes to my cart, but my card was immediately charged without confirmation. I called the company - he didn't see any charge on his end - I placed the corrected order on the phone and confirmed the first incomplete order hadn't gone through. I was immediately charged for both orders. It took me forever to finally get them to cancel the first order. I received my order - in pretty good shape, but the dogwood had a major fungal infection. I gave it 2 weeks of perfect treatment and care, but it got worse. I contacted them about a replacement, including photos, but was refused

I looked for a 3 to 4 foot pencil holly everywhere and came up empty. A buddy of mine told me about nature, hills nursery, and I went on the website. They had a 4 foot pencil holly, and it came quickly and was very healthy. I will definitely be ordering more of my plants from here. I would definitely recommend shopping here if you're looking for healthy plants.

It was the worse experiences ever. Their warranty service is totally a scam. They shipped died plants to you and no returns. Don't buy anything from them to save yourseyourself a headache.

I bought my husband a tree for Fathers Day, it arrived in poor condition. I have been going back and forth with them since. They have the most absurd reasoning why the tree is not growing, customer service supervisor was rude on the phone. This company is a scam, I am out $200. I have now opened a claim with BBB, which most reviews are the same. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

I have recieved a dead tree from them a year after placing my order. They are sending a replacement, which cost another $60. It says it shipped. No notice, no emails, no communication. This is a bad merchant. Buyer beware.

After 21 days with no status update, I wrote to cancel my order...and they had the temerity to want to charge me $10 for cancelling and tried to give me a gift card instead of a partial refund. Obviously, an incompetent organization. Avoid.

NO FULL REFUNDS given even if it is their fault you do not get your plant. Waited three months for a plant and given only excuses for them not sending it. Asked them if I could get a refund if I found it somewhere else and canceled. They said yes I ordered it from somewhere else to receive in 2 days and called to cancel and they told me there would be a 10% cancellation fee, and there was nothing I could do about that, their fault or mine it doesn't matter.

I was a little hesitant about ordering live fruit trees online since the last time I had a bad experience from a different company. The fruit trees I received from Nature Hills Nursery were healthy, beautiful. And they were delivered in the right month. I will definitely use Nature Hills Nursery again!

I bought a raspberry shortcake plant from Nature Hills Nursery and followed the directions to soak 'til bubbles formed. It was delivered in such good shape that it was still moist and had no air bubbles. It's growing strong in a 25-gallon air pot! It seems to like these sunny, hot days here in Escondido (San Diego), CA.

Last year I ordered a hydrangea and a red rose. They were not inexpensive. I was new to gardening so had not done enough research.
The delivery was delayed by 8 days and the plants arrived in a sad state. I could also see a pink rose instead of red. I reported. I was told to plant it anyway and wait for spring. There was no acknowledgement of the mistake. My money was not refunded. I waited. Spring came.The single rose that blossomed is still pink.one email was acknowledged. I can not send more emails as they keep coming back as undeliverable.
The plants were poor quality, I was overcharged( I bought three roses for what I paid for one and have had blossoms galore) and they are still refusing to refund my money.
I would recommend caution when dealing with this nursery!

Deplorable customer service. This company essentially stole $200 from me. They sent me a dead tree and refused to replace it without additional charge or refund me. DO NOT SHOP HERE

I purchased two Rose of Sharon bushes and a hydrangea bush. They arrived nicely pack and healthy. They are now bloomi g in my garden and addi g to beautiful flowers.

White oak tree was a Mothers Day gift from my 16 year old son. Paid a crazy amount of money for it. He works hard for his money and was so looking forward to them planting it together. Tree arrived half dead with a ton of insect damage. Gave it the benefit of a doubt and planted it. It's been two month and not one leaf has grown. Tree is obviously pretty much dead. Probably not even going to bother with customer service as many reviewers say it's a waste of time. I refuse to pay half for another dead tree. This place is a rip-off! Stay away from them.

I ordered an Amethyst Falls Wisteria tree in a #1container. It was buy one get one free so I received 2. They were to arrive on Friday 7, July but came late afternoon on Saturday. I opened the box but did not remove plants because they were stapled in place and there were too many mosquitoes in the garage. Sunday I saw that the plants did not look healthy and did not look like trees but rooted wisteria branches. In the pictures perhaps you can see the yellow leaves and leaves with holes and black spots. The very last photo is from their web site. It is a fountain wisteria in a #1container. I was told that is a mature tree and I should not have expected that. I was also told that the trees had been sprayed after they were brought out of the field. I was also told this time of year leaves yellow from too much water. I get all that, but I paid $65 + $20 shipping for these overwatered and eaten sticks!
I asked to return them for a full refund. They agreed to give me 60% if I paid to ship them back and if they thought they could be resold, but no guarantees. They should not have been sold to me to start with! So essentially they can send you anything and you have no recourse.
I had used them before. Bought a memorial tree for a friend's dad, tree was a tree. And you may have no problems either. But I'm done with them. Thanks for listening.

My Mimosa tree came packaged perfectly and was healthy and strong. It's growing every day and I couldn't be happier!
